The atmosphere of the Kingdom of Canbrai looks calm, the peace that has been created since His Majesty the King of Frithestan prioritizes the needs of his people rather than selling other royal foodstuffs. there was a frenzy of welcoming the presence of several slaves who entered the palace grounds, the guards made their selection as usual.
Daniel was standing beside the royal guard, waiting for the slave girl to enter in a few seconds.
"Stop!" The royal guard who became Frithestan's confidant stopped the female slaves in front of the palace door.
Benhard approached Daniel while observing several girls as usual, "please choose according to King's request, sir."
Daniel looked at a beautiful, handsome girl, more like Solenne. He approached the young girl, "what's your name miss?"
"Bissa, sir," a beautiful young woman bowed respectfully to Daniel.
"Bring this woman, ask the maidservant to clean it. I will dedicate him to the young Emperor," Daniel ordered Benhard.
"Yes sir," Benhard continued his work, as Daniel ordered.
Thustan actually was busy with some archery practice in a special room in the palace until late at night. Accompanied by several guards. he was too excited, ignoring the small bump on his head.
Thirty minutes later, Daniel came to ask the guard where the young Emperor was, "where is King?"
The guard opened the door of the palace's archery room which was quite spacious with the sky wide open, "Please sir."
"Hmmm."
Daniel entered the archery room, approached the Emperor, "did you forget King's dinner?"
"Just bring dinner to your room. Have you found the girl I ordered, how many slaves entered the palace. Please take care of Your Majesty the King, because he is the only one I have at this time. I don't want to lose him like the Queen did," Thustan continued.
Daniel had only seen the activities of the young Emperor focusing on arrows without caring about his whereabouts.
Not long after, a bodyguard named Benhard approached them with a slightly frightened face, approaching Daniel, "Master, the girl ran away."
Daniel snapped at Benhard loudly, until it was heard by Thustan, "stupid, even taking care of slaves is incompetent, find him before I send you to the dungeon!"
Benhard leaves Daniel and Thustan, rushes to find a girl named Bissa who went missing with Solenne, "where are they, don't they want to live long in this world!"
Thustan stared intently at Daniel, "who is missing?"
"The slave that was King, I asked the maid to clean the girl, but she disappeared from the palace," Daniel explained in a whisper.
Thustan growled, "How dare he run away from my palace, look for him until you canwho took him away, I will make calculations with him. How dare he leave my palace!"
Daniel rushed to find out, how could a young slave be able to escape, leaving the palace without being noticed by the royal guards.
"Damn it, I will behead if I find that stupid girl," Daniel was a little worried, because it would threaten his position in the palace as a confidant of the Canbrai Kingdom.
Daniel went around the palace, asking all the guards to close all access so that no one managed to leave the palace.
Benhard approached Daniel while in a hallway "Sir, we lost Solenne!"
Daniel's brown pupils rounded looking at Benhard "what, Solenne is also missing?"
"Yes sir."
"You look for them until you can, live or die, I don't care. You understand!" Daniel shouted loudly at Benhard, not expecting that Thustan was standing behind them.
"Solenne, what is wrong with my girl, did she also leave the palace. You search until you find it, otherwise I will throw you out of the Canbrai palace!" Thustan's loud voice again sounded very frightening to all his guards and confidants.
Thustan left Daniel and Benhard, "you are incompetent to take care of women, you stupid bodyguards. Daniel, you are looking for a maid who takes care of my women. Take her to the room!"
Daniel immediately did as the young emperor ordered, without wanting to argue, "die I, this will be the last day I see the sun."
All the guards moved quickly to find the whereabouts of the maid and the two girls who had escaped from the royal palace of Canbrai. it didn't take long, the two bodyguards were able to find Solenne and Bissa running fast in the middle of the forest.
The atmosphere of a very tense night, did not ignite the courage of the two beautiful women to escape from the royal palace of Canbrai. The feeling of extreme fear with the threat of death at the hands of the young emperor was clearly in their minds.
"Hurry up, the guards will find us," Solenne continued to gallop for a hiding place that they would soon find.
The bodyguard's hand quickly grabbed Bissa's petite body while running, put her on the horse with a triumphant smile, "where are you going stupid girl!"
Bissa could not rebel, just surrendered without seeing Solenne's whereabouts. Extreme fear raged in the young girl's head, because she was desperate to run away from the palace.
"Lord, protect Solenne. Don't let the royal guards of Canbrai find her," Bissa cried on the horse that was carrying her body very fast, imagining her own death.
Solenne kept running, until she found a small cave and forced her tiny body to enter there with a feeling of fear, "God, help me. I don't want to die and be tortured by the emperor. I beg you."
The sound of Solenne's cries awakened the sleep of a man in a pitch black cave.
Yes, that man is Masson from the Kingdom of Bordeaux, "who are you?"
Solenne let out a small scream, jumping up in surprise to see the figure of a firm man with a baritone voice that startled her, "Aaaaagh!"
Masson grabbed the lantern and lit it to see the figure of a woman kneeling in front of him.
Some of the bodyguards of the Kingdom of Bordeaux were surprised to hear a woman's voice with them.
"Who are you?" Masson stared intently at Solenne's face.
Solenne was even more surprised, seeing the cruel man and several bodyguards approaching him, "Sorry sir, don't hurt me. I'm just taking refuge here from the pursuit of the Canbrai Kingdom's guards, I'm just a runaway slave Master."
Solenne's tears couldn't be stopped, there was a sense of fear in her head. Especially when they heard the Canbrai Kingdom guards approach the small cave where they were hiding.
"Turn off the lantern, you idiot!" Masson ordered his guards.
The guards immediately dimmed the light of the lanterns, so as not to be seen by Canbrai's bodyguards getting closer to them.
"Look for Solenne, if we don't find it we will return to the palace with this little girl," shouted the guard to the other comrades.
They searched the location around the cave where Solenne and the Kingdom of Bordeaux were hiding, but could not find their whereabouts.
"Bang sat, this is going to threaten my head. It's getting late, there are many beasts here, we better leave this place immediately. I don't want to die in vain here. We already brought that stupid girl to the palace, it's just, we lost track of Solenne . this will be a new problem for all of us," the bodyguards got back on their horses, turning towards the palace.
Meanwhile Solenne and Masson were still hiding in thick blankets of dust and it was very suffocating, because of fear he was able to hold it all in for his own safety.
Masson ordered the guards, to look around the cave, "Are they gone?"
"It's Prince, everything is safe," one of the bodyguards entered the cave to meet Masson.
Masson nodded, able to breathe a sigh of relief, "You're safe."
Solenne clasped her hands together, prostrated herself in front of Masson, "Thank you Prince, I owe you my life."
