Laxton Hendrix cancelled all his meetings that afternoon since he cannot focus on it. His mind is wandering somewhere else.
Those few minutes he spend inside his office felt like its been a few hours!
Billy went inside his office past one in the afternoon with two plastic bags on both hands.
Laxton Hendrix glare at him. "I told you to meet me here at noon!"
"I got your food. I know you can't eat but--" He put down the food containers in front of his boss.
The aroma of his favorite paella soothe the crease on his forehead. "At least you know how to make amends."
"We're best friends before I became your secretary so I know everything about you." Billy smirked as he watched him dig into the food and fill his empty stomach.
Five minutes later, the food disappeared.
Billy carefully removed everything on top of his glass desk since he knew what will happen next.
"The files you asked earlier--"
Laxton Hendrix snatched the brown enveloped on Billy's hand, almost ripping the investigation report. His eyes roam around the file and crumpled it afterwards.
Three seconds later, everything went flying across his table-- as Billy expected.
"So my hunch is right! There's a conspiracy that happened! That bitch--"
"Your psychotic ex-girlfriend was involved? I told you--"
"No, her fsmily history was briefly described here. You haven't read it? It's a first--"
Billy shrugged his head repeatedly. "I know when I shouldn't cross our boundaries." He bent down and grab the crumpled paper to read the file.
Laxton Hendrix went back to sit on his swivel chair. "I need you to do something for me."

"Audrey Racaza? There's a delivery for you. Kindly sign here," the delivery man said.
"What? I didn't order anything--" Her mouth dropped upon seeing the Tiffany & Co. paperbag. "Are you sure these are for me?!" She exclaimed in excitement.
The man nodded before he walk towards the exit.
Deliveries are directly sent to the nurse station so Audrey expected that her colleagues will get jealous of her gifts.
Two of her female colleagues went inside at the right moment--when she's checking the expensive necklace and earrings set.
"Wow, Audrey, you have another suitor? You're lucky, this are expensive!"
Geline, one of her two female colleagues tried to touch the ring box but Audrey tapped their hands off.
"You better find yours, too, girl!" She's grinning from ear to ear before she gather her things and went out of the nurse station. "By the way it's my day off, see you the other day." She waved before she marched towards her own office.

Laxton Hendrix huffed. He's waiting on his red-orange Porsche 718 Cayman sports car for three hours now with Billy and their target is still out of sight.
"Are you sure Audrey will notice us? It's been hours!"
"You want to get Czarielle's whereabouts, right? Bear with it." Billy hissed.
"Let's switch. You seduce her or pretend to be her suitor and I'll give you four times your salary and my black card." Laxton Hendrix offered with bored eyes.
"And this car?"
"After the job's done, I'll transfer the ownership of my electric car--"
"Tesla? Great! You got a deal, bro!"
"Then I'm out here. Remember, no monkey business here on my new baby. No kissing and everything! And cool off with your girlfriend." Laxton Hendrix removed his expensive coat and tie, including his shoes and handed it to Billy. "Give me your spare shirt that will goes with my pants--"
Billy laughed. "I only have an extra polo shirt in this paper bag--"
Laxton Hendrix seize the paperbag and immediately changes his clothes. Before he went out of his own car, "Remember to always charge your smart watch because I'll be listening to your conversation at all times."
"Cool-off is too much! Why does my relationship needs to suffer?" Billy complained.
"Did you see any regrets from me when I offered my Tesla in return?" Laxton snapped back at him before he shot the car door loudly.
Billy sigh deeply. "Right. There's always a sacrifice for every reward that you can get." He muttered to himself.
Ten minutes later, he saw Audrey walking towards the sport's car he's inside.
"Oh, fuck! How can I drive the car when I don't know how--"
A knock came outside the driver's seat. "I'll be your personal driver, sir Billy. My name's Nick. Sir Laxton Hendrix told me to accompany you everytime."
Billy immediately went out of the driver's seat and handed him the car keys. "Good." He tapped the man's shoulder as approval.
The timing's right because Audrey saw how he handed the car keys to Nick and her eyes twinkle in satisfcation.
"Aren't you Billy? The one who delivered this to me?" Audrey flex the paperbag she has on her arms.
"Damn you, Laxton Hendrix. You already set me up!" Billy murmured in a very low voice.
"Huh?" Audrey asked cluelessly.
Billy showed his killer smile. "Yes, it's me. I'm shocked. How did you find me?"
"It's written on the card! 'I'm Billy and I'll wait for you in my sportscar.' Didn't you--"?
"Sorry, I pre-ordered those a few months back. I don't remember what I wrote--"
Audrey grinned widely. "No worries. Thank you for the gifts! I wonder what I will get next, haha!" Then she open the car and went inside herself.
"I told you, she'll took the bait." Billy said loudly for his boss to hear.
"Good job!"
"Will you take me to Wolfgang's Steak house? I'm craving steak!"
Billy smiled. "Sure, babe!"

Three hours later...
Billy slouched in the back seat. He's too tired to complain nor speak ill of Audrey.
"You've got yourself a gold digger, haha!" Nick mocked him.
"If I can just smack her head off, I alread did that! I've never seen someone so expensive like her, ever! She's part of the family from upper class, yes, but all the other rich families I've met is nothing compare to her. Tsk! Our boss is lucky because his wealth are bigger than what we csn expect. Those expenses we incured were just coins to him."
Nick laughed hard while Billy closed his eyes to think what he will said as an excuse to his girlfriend later because she's already waiting at her apartment four hours ago.
