The ‘Oh No, This Is a Bad Idea’ Scene
The path ahead?
Terrible.
Narrow. Twisting.
Definitely cursed.
Jax squinted. “So… we’re just gonna walk into the obvious trap?”
Lucienne sighed. “It’s not a trap.”
Jax, “You sure?”
Lucienne, “No.”
Elara, already regretting everything.
Kael, voice low, “We don’t have another option.”
Jax groaned. “We always have another option. It’s just—usually dumber.”
Lucienne, unimpressed. “That’s literally you.”
Elara, deep breath.
They were not dying here.
Not today.
Probably.
---
The ‘Walking into the Abyss’ Scene
Step.
Step.
Step.
Each one louder than it should be.
Like the path was listening.
Like it was waiting.
Jax muttered, “Why is the floor making noises?”
Lucienne, “Because we’re not supposed to be here.”
Jax, “Oh. Cool. Love that.”
Elara, unsettled.
Because—
Something wasn’t right.
---
The ‘Something Is Watching’ Scene
Kael froze.
Hand raised.
Silence.
Then—
A whisper.
Not from ahead.
Not from behind.
From everywhere.
Elara’s pulse spiked. “Did you hear—”
Jax, low. “Yeah.”
Lucienne, tense. “Keep moving.”
Elara wanted to.
But—
The whisper was getting closer.
---
The ‘Absolutely Not’ Scene
Then—
A shadow moved.
Fast.
Too fast.
Jax, “Nope. Nope. Nope—”
Lucienne, grabbing his arm. “Shut up.”
Kael, voice sharp. “Eyes ahead.”
Elara, forcing herself forward.
Because—
If they stopped now?
They wouldn’t move again.
---
The ‘Oh, That’s Worse’ Scene
The whispering stopped.
For a moment.
Then—
A laugh.
Soft. Distant. Wrong.
Jax visibly paled. “Did—did y’all hear—”
Lucienne, whispering. “Yes.”
Kael, hand on sword. “Don’t react.”
Elara, struggling to breathe.
Because—
It sounded familiar.
---
The ‘Do Not Turn Around’ Scene
A step.
Not theirs.
Jax’s breathing hitched. “Yo. Someone’s behind us.”
Lucienne, gritted teeth. “No. There isn’t.”
Jax, insulted. “Yes. There is.”
Kael, voice firm. “Do. Not. Look.”
Elara, stiff.
Because—
She felt it too.
---
The ‘I’m Gonna Look’ Scene
Jax, whispering, “What if I just—”
Lucienne, horrified. “Jax. No.”
Jax, “But like. What if?”
Kael, dead serious. “You will die.”
Jax, considering. “Hmm. But will I—”
Elara, grabbing his sleeve.
Because—
The thing behind them was breathing.
---
The ‘It’s Touching Me’ Scene
Something brushed against Jax’s shoulder.
Cold. Sharp. There.
Jax, frozen.
Lucienne, not moving.
Kael, jaw clenched.
Elara, panicking.
Then—
It spoke.
“Going somewhere?”
---
The ‘Run Now’ Scene
Elara snapped. “RUN—”
Jax screamed.
Lucienne bolted.
Kael grabbed Elara’s wrist. “Move—”
Then—
The world shifted.
---
The ‘Not Again’ Scene
Falling.
Spinning.
Nowhere.
Then—
Silence.
Elara hit the ground.
Hard.
Jax, groaning. “I hate everything.”
Lucienne, muttering. “Same.”
Kael, checking surroundings. “Where…?”
Elara, heart pounding.
Because—
They weren’t alone.
Again.
---
The ‘We’re So Screwed’ Scene
Jax sat up. “So. Bad news?”
Lucienne sighed. “What isn’t bad news?”
Kael, serious. “We have company.”
Elara, staring.
Because—
There were eyes watching them.
Not one pair.
Not two.
Hundreds.
Jax, nervous laughter. “Haha. Nope.”
Lucienne, groaning. “Every damn time.”
Kael, raising his sword. “Prepare to fight.”
Elara, pulling out her dagger.
Because—
This?
This was bad.
---
The ‘Unexpected Savior’ Scene
Then—
A roar.
Deep. Powerful.
Familiar.
Elara’s breath caught.
Because—
It was him.
---
The ‘You Came Back’ Scene
The figure stepped forward.
Golden eyes.
Dark armor.
A presence so overwhelming, the shadows recoiled.
Elara, stunned. “You—”
Jax, shocked. “Oh. OH.”
Lucienne, relieved. “Finally. A win.”
Kael, watching carefully.
Because—
They weren’t safe yet.
---
The ‘Final Stand’ Scene
The enemy didn’t retreat.
They hesitated.
But only for a moment.
Then—
They attacked.
Elara dodged.
Jax countered.
Lucienne fought fiercely.
Kael stood his ground.
And—
He moved.
Faster than lightning.
Stronger than anything Elara had ever seen.
And within seconds—
It was over.
---
The ‘What Now?’ Scene
Silence.
Smoke.
Victory.
Jax, panting. “We lived?”
Lucienne, amazed. “For once.”
Kael, watching Elara.
And Elara—
Looking at him.
Because—
He wasn’t just anyone.
He was the Dragon King.
And he had come back.
