Chapter 24 Show Mercy For A Price
Saturdays aren't so special, so they say. But the Big Bad Boy and the Four Devil Doves especially would do whatever they want in the world that could bring them pleasure; sexual pleasure, physical pleasure, emotional pleasure, and the list stakes up till an end. And weekends most times, brings it to them.
The Four Devil Doves had just crested out from a party in the morning to their hotel room where they would spend the rest of the afternoon doing the same thing or something better. Time hadn't gone far. But they had gone far in pleasure.
"Oh man, you should see how those girls were bouncing on me" Nicholas said Jumping around as they opened the door to the hotel room, seeing Josef sitting alone on one of the executive's cushion chair devouring bottles of exotic wines while his eyes fixed at the large screen television on the wall.
"You like prostitutes too much, kid. Don't forget about sexually transmitted diseases."
"They are sweet, and knows what they do. Who cares about STD's" Nicholas retorted.
"For some reasons, I don't like threesome…" Hector added. And they all looked at him like he had gone mad. He rolled his eyes and sat down, joining Josef to his ride.
"Hey, Josef ." He greeted with a smile.
"Threesome is great, but not as much as foursome"
"WH-AT?!" they said at once, jolting and to a freeze.
He gulped. "Um, I didn't mean us, like do it together, to-to each other, I mean, to girls, while we shag them" he concluded.
Josef shoved his eyes off him and went back to his issues.
"Hey, Josef . Not partying today? " Achilles asked.
"I am, I am, just taking some time to feel myself and be myself you know. I prefer the night time though"
"Right. I love the night life as well, nothing beats it"
"You feel me" said Josef .
His phone rang the moment tranquility had taken a special lead sit after them. He cringed at the disturbance, pierced through the phone with his eyes and smiled at the caller's name.
"Why are you smiling? Who is that? Nicholas asked.
"My brother" Josef replied, taking the phone above the table rest.
"Whoa…" they wondered. "Is he going to party with us?"
"That would be a miracle, but I hope so"
"Hard pass. If Jemima does it then you know there's going to be a Skyfall" said Achilles with a chuckle.
Josef had the phone block his hearing from the background. "Hello, Jemima"
"Where are you Josef ?"
"You want to join us? I will send you the address right away" his face lightened with a smile. Having his brother party with him would be great, but Jemima had never done that, while Josef stayed looking forward to it.
"Oh, no Josef . Don't worry. We need to talk"
Josef face changed instantly, wearied with disappointment. "Where are you?" Even his tone died down.
"I'm at home, Josef . Waiting for you."
"Okay…" Josef shrugged. "I will be on my way" he motioned to cut the call…
"And Josef ?"
"Yes?"
"Please don't keep me waiting for long"
"Ughhhh…" Josef gritted. "Fine." He threw his arm up and back down to falter at the sofa. He dropped the phone and poured to himself, another glass of wine which he gulped down immediately and had his stand away from the chair; they were all swimming in the pools of astonishment he had just left them in.
"Where are you going?" Achilles asked.
"My brother calls for me. It better be something serious"
"Oh, the boring fellow. Isn't he always serious?"
"Hey, don't call my brother a boring fellow." Josef snarled. "He is really fun, if you give him the chance" Josef teased.
"Are you really going?" Hector asked.
"What does it look like I'm doing?"
They glanced at each other, and directed their gazes back at him, shaking their heads simultaneously.
He scoffed. "Maybe the party had succeeded in blinding you all, can't you see I'm putting on my shoes, and…" he picked up his car key from the table. "And taking a ride out of here, straight to home"
What surprised them most was the fact that Josef was going to see his brother, which he doesn't normally do. It was always his brother blowing up his phone if he wanted to talk or see him, and Josef would end up not going anywhere even after he promise to go.
Jemima would end up coming to them instead— Josef was really going, and it was a shock to them, when he held the door's knob, turned it to a degree, had it click open and had his way out of the room, and soon, out of the hotel's top floor and out.

The ride to home with his super car took only ten minutes, all thanks to his speed and bare adherence to road safety laws.
He reached at the front gate and it opened automatically after the sensors from both the gate and car had their synchronisation.
The building was nothing less than a magnimous and malificent executive castle. It was twice the size of Royal Palace of Brussels and the Chateau de Chambord and three times better. The $10-billion mansion was a family house, and anyone in the name of Bond had access to it.
Two swimming pools formulated as a real and exotic beach ornamented with flowers and grass which spotted at different angles apart, graced the front landscape. And two private Jets had their spot at personalised bumps away from the swimming pool, while numerous executive cars, sport cars, vintage cars and the old styles were parked in different garages. The Same thing would exist at the back of the mansion but in a different peculiar division.
The mansion stood solidly in the middle of a tropical land property owned by Bond Holdings and it was paradise on earth. To top it all, the mansion's exterior was gleaming white with touches of gold which also was used in coating the gigantic pillars. The mansion was built upon a solid foundation, and raised up from below where glass architecturing at it's peak took the lead.
He held the knob to part the glass doors but a red beep at the side of the door faltered his attempt.
"WH-AT? They won't take the lock off" he groaned. He placed his right thumb on the verification lock panel which scanned for a couple of minutes and then **beep!** . "Huh?" He brought his thumb to his shirt to clean off dirt and any dampness, but it didn't solve the problem.
"Seriously…" he said through clenched teeth. "Who had the guts to erase my prints! I'm going to kick everyone out of this house…" he got out his phone from his trouser's pocket and dialled Jemima's phone number. It had only started ringing when the door parted, showing Jemima with his smile and the mansion's sitting interior.
"Hello, brother" he smiled partly with the drawing of his left lip to cheek, dumping a dimple in his fluffy cheeks.
Josef shook his head "I know that smile" Josef said with a mean face.
Jemima chuckled. "Of course you do. Why don't you come in?" He moved away for him to step in. Josef trudged both hands inside his trouser's pockets, trudged his shoulders "You think is funny?" He said while still standing outside..
Jemima chuckled "It isn't, sir…"
Josef smiled. "Is good to see you, brother" he walked closer and embraced him. "Mmm I like the smell of your perfume" he said as they disengaged.
"Thank you , sir" said Jemima. "I thought you wouldn't come"
"Ahh, how long has it been? Mmmm one week! I haven't seen my brother in one week, why wouldn't I come?" Said Josef with the lightening of his face.
"Come on in, have a seat please" Jemima turned his back to walk away and Josef followed closely beside.
Josef amiled as he breathed in the elegant smell of the house, his body had breached comfort already, clenched wholly by the mansion's magnificence.
A classic music playing in the background pierced through his ears and down to his heart, while the light panels and holders on the walls and placed on the PVC ceilings shadowed down to the glass tiled white floor.
"Mmm feeling at home already" he said in a satisfying tone, throwing himself down at one of the sofa chairs, spaced out from the others which was accommodating a customized table in the middle.
"When was the last time you came home?" Jemima asked him walking to the wine cabinets, where he brought out a wine and retrieved two wine glasses from the shelve. A clank followed as he brought it down to the table.
"A month ago, how about you?" Josef replied.
"Where else would I be?" Jemima asked with a chuckle, getting a glass to Josef hand, after which he sat down across the space, facing Josef , as they took to their drinks.
"What have you got to tell me, Jemima?" Josef asked after two to three sips.
"You did something that I want you to redo" Jemima replied, staring back at him.
Josef chuckled. "And what might that be?" Even when he had gotten a glimpse of what he did that Jemima wanted to be resolved.
"You expelled Valentine. Please Josef , kindly get her back. She has done nothing wrong" Jemima reasoned.
Josef went ahead to pour more wine to his glass, and cuppled it within his fingers, as if he was looking through it. "I thought I would be coming to discuss about something important, Jemima"
Jemima smiled. "This is important, brother"
"How so? Why does it even matter to you? Why do you care so much about Valentine? What's it with Valentine?"
Jemima aided in observing a moment of silence, then he sighed. "Everything, Josef . Everything. Don't you see? She is different, she is—"
"That's it, right there is what got her a red mark… difference" Josef gestured.
Jemima smiled. "But you do know that this is important right?"
Josef dropped his glass on the table, shook his head and stood up to leave.
"I'm sorry, brother. I have really important things to do. Salvation is only for those that needs it. You can't throw money at a begger who doesn't beg. See you around" he turned away and had his reach near the door.
And back he turned, a little bit speechless and challenged as Jemima said something behind his back, loud and clear that clicked.
"It's important because aunty has grown a liking for her. Do you think she would be happy to know what you did? Abuse of power, brother, and it will hurt your favorite human" Said Jemima, unhesitatingly.
Josef scratched his head with the tip of his finger, and sighed. "I see you got it all planned out. Is it just aunty that has grown a liking for her though?" He asked Jemima who only chuckled. "Fine. Promise me that aunty won't know of it"
"None of it ever happened." Jemima assured him.
"Good." Said Josef reaching to the door, which was locked. He turned around to say something to Jemima, but he was already near.
"I will take that…" he said placing his thumb to unlock the door. It clicked open immediately.
"Why must it have to lock again after being opened?" He snarled.
"That's how it was programmed" Jemima replied with a shrug.
Josef pushed outside and looked back at Jemima. "Get back my finger prints here, I'm the man of the house…" he said straightening his face. Jemima smiled. "And it's not funny" added Josef, taking his leave out of the premises at once.Download Novelah App
