Angel fixed her hair up in a ponytail and straightened her uniform. She sighed as she took a look at herself. She hadn't been to school since Wednesday and she knew that people would probably talk bad about her but she didn't care. She needed to talk to both Bobby and Zhul.
Angel was truly afraid of what Zhul would say or how he would react to her. Angel decided not to think negatively. She grabbed her bag and headed downstairs. Just as Angel was about to leave a voice called her back.
Angel turned to see her sister at the arch of the dining room. "Where are you going Angel?"
"I have to go to school Mhadz" Angel answered flatly. "I have cleaning duties."
"I'm sure Shane doesn't mind if you skip that. Today is Shella's first day; don't you want to walk her to school?" Mhadz said. Angel sighed and rolled her eyes.
"Look Mhadz, I know you wanna keep an eye on me but I need to uphold my responsibilities like you always say I should, plus I talked to Gerand on the phone last night, he wouldn't mind walking Shella because he wants to catch up with her."
"But you have barely caught up with her?"
"And I will, she is living with us, I have lots of time, now if you don't mind I'm going now" Angel said. Before Mhadz could retort Angel ran out the door.
Angel knew she was being cold to her sister, but she didn't want anything to stop her from doing things right. She knew what had to be done. She had to end things with Bobby no matter what and tell Zhul how she felt.
Angel arrived at school in record time. She ran past her locker and everyone else who had been in the school early. Her first stop was to apologize to Zhul, then break up with Bobby, so she could finally be with Zhul.
Angel stopped in front of classroom door and took a deep breath. She slid open the door to see Zhul sweeping the classroom floor with his back to the door. Angel smiled because a part of her was scared he wouldn't come to school. Angel walked in and closed the door behind her. Zhul automatically noted the presence in the room, he turned to see Angel.
She was surprised when his amber eyes looked at her. They were filled with pain, sadness and anger. He then turned back to what he was doing as if she never came in.
Angel sighed to herself and walked toward him. "Zhul?"
He ignored and began sweeping harder. Angel decided to just talk to him hoping he would listen.
"Zhul, I know you are mad at me but I need you to listen to me" Angel started. "I'm really sorry for what I said. I shouldn't have mention anica. I guess I was mad at you and it slipped. I just don't wanna lose you zhul."
zhul turned to her, still angry. angel hoped that her apology was enough but it didn't look like it.
"That's all you have to apologize for?" He hissed. angel looked at him confused.
"Right now yes"
"Well then apology not accepted" He said turning his back to her once again. angel who was now frustrated walked in front of him and put her hands on her hips.
"What the hell zhul, what else do you want me to say?" angel said.
"I kissed you angel! So obviously I have feelings for you, so how the fuck do you expect me to feel when you tell me that you can't be with me because of bobby?!" zhul barked.
"I will not cheat Zhul!"Angel yelled. "But I'm going to talk to Bobby today and-"
"And what? He has you wrapped around his finger, or more like his dick" Zhul shot back. Angel was hurt by that comment. She was hurt by his words and look. He gave her the same look of pain that he gave anica but this was worse. It hurt angel to look at him.
"Zhul, I-" Angel was cut off by the sound of her ringtone. She rolled her eyes. Zhul scoffed. They both knew it was Bobby texting her.
"Where are you?! I'm waiting up on the roof"
Angel sighed and noticed Zhul was not looking at her but he was back to sweeping.
"I promise when I get back, we can really talk about this" Angel said quietly. Zhul just kept sweeping. Angel decided to go end things quickly and make things right with Zhul. She had hurt him enough and it was time that she was faithful to her heart. Angel ran out the classroom and headed to the stairs.
Bobby leaned against the fence on the roof. He had been waiting for Angel for a while and he had just finished texting her asking her whereabouts.
He began wondering whether he should break up with Angel. He cared about her, which was weird to him. But his lifestyle would put her in danger. Angel is the only girl in the world that made him care. He didn't like the possibility that this girl could seriously change him. Angel already made him fall in love. But he knew he could never change his ways fully.
"Bobby?" Angel said catching his attention. Bobby turned to see Angel and flashed his infamous smile.
"Hey babe" He said walking over to Angel, he bent down to kiss her but she backed away.
"We came here to talk, you wanted to make things right, I should at least hear what you have to say" Angel said. Bobby raised his eyebrow. He didn't know what exactly to say but he began speaking anyway.
"I love you Angel and I know I acted like a jack ass when I didn't contact you but I was scared, but I am here now and I'm gonna be a better boyfriend to you" He said. He couldn't think of much to say. All he wanted is for her to be his again so he could get money and pay off Rusty.
"Love isn't enough, but I can't do this anymore, I love you Bobby but my heart isn't in this anymore" Angel said sadly. Bobby couldn't believe it. Here he was sounding like some pathetic love struck boy and she is still trying to leave him.
"I'm trying to be honest Angel, why the hell would you leave me?" He asked trying to control his anger. As Angel was about to retort, the roof door violently swung open. Angel and Bobby turned to see who their new visitor.
"Engeline?" Angel said happy and surprised to see her friend. Engeline smiled when she saw Angel, who looked completely fine. That put her heart at ease. She then looked at Bobby with disgust.
"Can you give us some privacy Engeline" Bobby growled.
"No, not till you tell angel the truth….the whole truth" Engeline demanded. Bobby glared at Engeline and she did the same. She would not let this man scare her.
"What's going on?" Angel asked them both. "What are you guys hiding?"
Engeline smirked and broke away from her glaring contest to look at Angel. "Well I guess I could help Bobby by telling you who attacked you in the store last week"
Angel's eyes widened. She looked at Bobby who was now avoiding her gaze. Could he have something to do with it?
"Cassandra and Fatima attacked you in the fitting room, in order to make sure that you didn't mess up Bobby future." Engeline explained. Angel couldn't believe what she was saying. Her eyes filling with tears.
"I doubt Bobby knew though, they did it to 'help' Bobby " Engeline stated. Angel could feel it becoming harder to breath. Her head was spinning. Cassandra and Fatima had killed her unborn child. She couldn't understand why. She knew those two were jealous but she couldn't understand how simple crushes could lead those two becoming so violent.
"Why?" Angel managed to say. She was looking at him. He still didn't look at her. "WHY?!" Angel screamed. Bobby looked at her. He had never seen so much pain in her beautiful dark eyes. This was the woman he loved. He might have loved her the wrong way but he did love her.
"Because they were in love with me" Bobby answered simply.
"Really Bobby" Engeline said, she was fed up with him telling half the truth. "Maybe it's the fact that you were having sex with both of them behind Angel's back!"
Angel stood there frozen. Her eyes still on Bobby. Her heart had just been torn in half. Bobby clenched his fist not knowing what to say to Angel. Angel could feel the tears coming down fast.
"Angel" Bobby started. "I never wanted to hurt you" Angel snapped back to normal hearing that.
"Hurt me? You didn't hurt me. You destroyed me." Angel said quietly.
"I fell in love with someone, someone who I know will never hurt me, but I couldn't be with him, because I wanted to be faithful to you" Angel said. "All this time you were fucking two worthless bitches behind my back. Was I really that terrible of a lover?"
"No Angel, that's not-"
"I DON'T WANNA HEAR IT!" Angel yelled. "Its over Bobby, I don't give a fuck how you feel about me, I don't want anything to do with you" With that Angel walked away. She walked up to Engeline.
"Did you know this whole time?" Angel asked her. Engeline nodded, "I'm sorry Angel, I didn't say anything earlier but I am trying to make it up to you now. I should have been a real friend to you. I thought that if I stayed quiet that I would be loyal to all my friends. But Cassandra and Fatima were never my friends. I know that now. You are the only true friend I had. So I will start acting like a true friend to you."
Angel nodded and walked away. Engeline looked over at Bobby who stood there with his back to her, looking like he was struggling to keep his temper in check. Engeline turned to follow Angel back into the building.
Once both girls entered the building Angel stopped and Engeline wondered what she was doing. Angel turned and ran and hugged Engeline. Angel began crying uncontrollably burying her head in Engeline chest. Engeline hugged Angel and patted her back. "It's okay Angel, let it all out" Angel grabbed Engeline's sleeves and cried harder.
"Angel Perez " A deep male voice said. Angel wiped her eyes and turned to see a police officer. Angel was completely confused.
"What's going on?" Angel asked. Then Angel heard screaming coming from down the hallway. Two other officers were dragging Cassandra and Fatima towards Angel. Angel looked at Engeline who smiled.
"I called the police and confess to them about what I knew." Engeline.
"The sales clerk at the store confirmed it and we recently got hold of the video camera of street lights that caught both girls following you into the store" The officer said.
"ENGELINE HOW COULD YOU SNITCH?" Cassandra screamed trying to wiggle away.
"Cassandra Sanchez and Fatima Rosales, you are both under arrest for assault and attempted murder" The police officer said. He ordered the men to read them her rights and take the down to the station.
"Angel, I would like you and Angel to come down to the stations in order to fill out a police report" He said. Angel nodded and took Engeline's hand and smiled and thanked her.
"Where can I find Bobby Cadatal?"
"He should be on the roof." Engeline said. "He didn't have anything to do with the attack." Angel stated.
"We know, but he was the motivation behind the girls' attack." The officer said walking past them.
"Please wait here, and another come will come and get you so you can go to the station."
Angel sighed to herself. "I still defend that pig" Angel said disgusted with herself." Engeline gave her a sad smile. "So is Zhul the someone you fell in love with?" Engeline asked trying to lighten the mood. Angel smiled to herself.
"Yes" Angel realized she hadn't finished talking to him. "I need to go"
"Miss Perez and Miss Delima" a female voice said. It was another police officer. "We must be going now"
"But-"
"We need to leave now Miss Perez" the woman said sternly. "We will contact your family when we get to the station." She grabbed both Engeline and Angel and dragged them down the hall and out the school. Zhul please wait for me.
"Good morning all" Mrs.Villanueva said to her class.
"Good Morning" the class said in unison.
"Class, we have a new student joining the class, please come in"
Shella walked into the classroom happily. "Hello I am Shella Perez, nice to meet you all"
Some guys whistled while other girls grew jealous of Shella's obvious beauty. "Please take a seat" Shane said.
Shella walked over to zhul she smiled at him and he forced one back. Senna sat right behind him and quickly tapped him on the shoulder. "Don't forget you are taking out on the town today" She whispered. Zhul nodded.
Zhul wasn't even thinking about the tour. He didn't want to admit that he was extremely worried about Angel. She had come back since she left. He wasn't the only one. Gerand began to wonder about her too. He remembered Mhadz telling him that she went to school and that he was supposed to walk Shella to school. He wondered if Angel was okay, she wasn't answering her texts.
Gerand tried to stay calm. He was worried but he knew Angel was tough.
LUNCH TIME.
"Hello Shella how have you been" Mush asked Shella. Shella turned and jumped up in excitement. She hadn't seen any of Angel's friends in years.
"Hey Mush, it's been too long, I have been good"
"So you go to school here now?"
"Yes, my father passed away and his dying wish was for me to finish school under the care of my uncle Franz." Shella explained. Adrian soon joined the conversation.
"Sorry to hear that, but glad you are in Cagayan " He said. Shella smiled and hugged them both. "I can't wait to eat lunch with you guys"
Shella looked around and saw Zhul. "Hey Zhul will you be sitting with us for lunch?" Shella asked sweetly. Zhul nodded and gave her a quick smile. Shella could tell that Zhul had something bothering him, she wondered if he was thinking about Angel.
Shella then turned to Gerand who had been talking to Rhesalyn. Shella didn't recognize the girl but she went up to Gerand anyway.
"Hey Gerand"Shella said surprising him.
"Hey Shella" Gerand said. Rhesalyn looked at this girl up and down. "Uh hello" Rhesalyn said.
"Hi, my name is Shella" She said happily. Damn this girl is perky. Shella turned to Gerand. "Are we going to eat now?"
"Uh yeah sure" Gerand said. Shella grabbed Gerand's arm and pulled him. Rhesalyn could feel a bit of jealousy as he was being dragged away. Just who is this girl?
Up at the Roof, Mush, Kent, Adrian, Brix, Jonica, Gerand, Shella, Rhesalyn, Jenny, Zhul, Darwin, Archie and Marison all sat and ate their lunch.
"So you're from Manila?" Jenny asked. Shella nodded. "Yeah I lived there for most of my life."
"Aren't girls from Manila, really proper and dress in kimonos ?" Darwin asked.
"Yeah some of them do" Shella said.
"How do you like school" Mush asked.
"Good, I was so happy that Gerand came over to walk me to school" Shella said looking over at him. Rhesalyn clenched her fists. She didn't like how friendly Gerand was with this girl. Even thought he wasn't her boyfriend or anything. She couldn't deny she felt anger towards the new girl.
"Is Angel still recovering?" Rhesalyn asked.
"That's kind of what I wanted to ask about" Gerand said turning to Zhul who seemed to be in his own little bubble.
"Did Angel come to school today?" Gerand asked zhul. Zhul looked up when he realized the question was directed at him.
"Yeah" Zhul said simply.
"She did, then where is she?"
"I don't know she is probably with Bobby " Ichigo said
"BOBBY?" Gerand and Adrian exclaimed. Zhul nodded and proceeded to eat his lunch.
"Zhul, how could you be so calm, she is with that jack ass, what if he hurts her?" Adrian said.
"She is a big girl she can handle herself" Zhul said bored. Adrian lost his temper and stood up and grabbed Zhul by his collar.
"You asshole, I thought you cared about her, why would you let her go with him" Adrian growled. Zhul pushed him off. "She doesn't need my protection and she doesn't want it, she wants him, end of story" He said before walking away and leaving the roof. Shella immediately stood up and followed Zhul.
Rhesalyn sighed. She wondered why Angel would ever go back to Bobby. Then Rhesalyn realized her best friend is missing.
"Where is Darlene?"

Darlene felt weird that everyone in the cafeteria was staring at her. Demmy had asked her to sit with him for lunch, she didn't know whether she should just ditch her friends but Demmy told her she really had no choice.
Darlene could see many girls looking at her. She decided to focus on her delicious lunch in front of her.
"What do you have there?" Demmy asked. She didn't notice he had been staring at her for quite some time now.
"I have a fish honey red bean paste sandwich" She said, "Would you like to try some?"
Demmy almost lost his composure after hearing that. "No thank you Darlene"
She shrugged and began to eat her food. Demmy could hear the girls in the cafeteria whispering and talking about Darlene.
"Do you know why I invited you here?" He asked. Darlene looked at him and shook her head.
"Well, many girls have asked me if I would be going with Fatima to the school homecoming dance" Darlene was a bit saddened by that.
"So you are going with her?" She asked shyly.
"I believe I asked you darlene, so obviously I am not going with fatima" demmy said simply. darlene blushed and smiled.
"As I was saying, I told them that I had a date already and they were eager to find out whom"
"So that's why you invited me?"
"Yes to let these girls know that I am taken" He said winking at her. darlene could feel her heart beating so fast. It was weird. He had such an indifferent voice but that was what attracted her to him. He was so calm and collected. He didn't seem to show much emotion which made him ideal.
"Is there a specific color you would like me to wear?" darlene asked blushing madly. Demmy smirked at her then leaned over where he planted a kiss on her lips. All the girls gasped. He pulled away a little and said. "White would be nice". darlene simply nodded since she could not from any words. He smiled and sat properly in his seat and ate his lunch.

"ANGEL!" Gerand, Mush, Adrian and Kent yelled. Angel had just walked in with Mhadz and Franz. The police called her home and told Mhadz what had happened. Franz left work early to join Mhadz. Angel called Mhadz because he was worried about Angel and she filled him in on what was going on. Gerand who was with Mush, Kent and Adrian after school told them and they headed to Angel's home to await her arrival.
It was now around seven in the evening and Angel was tired but happy to see her friends.
"Hey guys" Angel said happily. They all gave her a hug and smiled. "We are relieved to hear that your attackers are behind bars" Kent said.
"Yes, I can't believe Cassandra and Fatima would stoop so low." Mush said.
"Well how about you guys go upstairs and talk, I feel like cooking a big dinner, you are all welcomed to stay" Mhadz said happily.
"YES!" all four guests said in unison.
"Where is Shella?" Angel asked. Everyone looked at each other afraid of what to tell her, but Adrian steeped up.
"Out with Zhul" He said. Angel could feel a pain in her heart.
"Oh..well, let's just go to my room." She said quickly making her way upstairs. Mush lightly elbowed Adrian then followed Angel and the boys followed quietly behind.
Once in the room, Mush and Gerand quickly found spots on Angel's bed. Kent sat in her desk chair and Adrian laid in her bean bag. Angel sat by her window.
"Bobby was cheating on me with Cassandra and Fatima" Angel confessed. Everyone's jaw dropped.
"So he was behind your attack?" Adrian said getting up.
"No! But they were in love with him; he must have promised them that they would be together. But once they found out I was pregnant they must have thought I would ruin Bobby's life"
"I can't believe this, I wanna kill him" Adrian said.
"It's not worth it guys. I am done with him for good this time" Angel said smiling to herself. Adrian could feel himself smiling inside and out. Angel was finally free of that man, now may be he could do what he wanted to do.
"Angel, about the dance-" He started
"Engeline would like you to ask her" Angel said. She knew Adrian wanted to ask her but she didn't feel that way about Adrian. She loved him like a brother and she knew that Adrian thought Engeline was hot.
"But?"
"Trust me, she will say yes" Angel said. He forced a smile and said ok. He was disappointed that Angel didn't let him ask her but Engeline wasn't a bad thought. He smiled thinking about it actually.
Gerand went on to talk about the dance. He confessed that he asked Rhesalyn and everyone teased about it.

Meanwhile outside Zhul was walking Senna home. They had spent the last four hours walking around Cagayan.
"Wow, the Ayala mall is huge!" Shella said happily. Zhul walked next to her with his hands in his pockets. He didn't understand why he agreed to show Shella around. Shella was a nice girl and seem really energetic but she reminded him too much of Angel. He missed her and he really wanted to talk to her. Maybe that's why he said yes, So that he could have Angel on his mind, something that reminded him of her presence.
"I can't wait to do some shopping with Angel and Mush." Shella said. Zhul looked over to her when she said Angel's name.
"Are you and Angel close?" He asked.
"Well I guess, I mean we were inseparable when we were younger but I haven't seen her in three years," Shella said. "Angel is my best friend, most people don't like me because of my rich girl status but Angel has always treated me kindly."
"Sounds like the Angel I know." Zhul said quietly. They finally stopped a few feet from the house. Shella looked up and noticed that Angel was sitting by her window. Angel I don't know how you feel about Zhul but I know he cares about you, so I guess I have to push you to realize your feelings for him.
Shella turned to Zhul, "THANK YOU SO MUCH ZHUL!" Shella yelled hoping to get Angel's attention. And it worked. Angel looked out her window to see her cousin and Zhul talking outside.
"Um you're welcome?" Zhul said confused by why she was so loud. Shella slowly walked up to him, she stood on the tips of her toes and kissed him lightly and quickly on his lips. Zhul stood their frozen; he was completely thrown off by the kiss.
"That was for the tour, see you tomorrow zhul" Shella said smiling and winking at him. Angel who had witnessed the whole thing, felt something, she never felt before.
Today Bobby ripped her heart in two, but Zhul just completely shattered it. Angel kept her gaze out the window as one lone tear fell from her eye.

"Hey Angel, what are you looking at?" Mush asked. Everyone was having a conversation and she seemed to be focused on something outside.
"Nothing, it just looks like a very dreary night" Angel said quietly. She closed her eyes as she struggled from completely breaking down.

"BOBBY!" Bobby turned to see Alec walking up to him. Bobby was smoking a cigarette outside his apartment.
"What's up Alec?" Bobby said looking away.
"Is it true?" He asked Bobby.
"Is what true? There have been many things that have probably been said about me"
"Were you sleeping around with Cassandra behind my back?"
"Look man, shit happens, plus you were fucking other girls behind her back too" Alec was about to hit him when a black car pulled up and three men jumped out. Bobby eyes widened when he saw them. It was three of Rusty men
"Hello Bobby" The biggest one of the three said.
"Fuck!" he said as he tried to run but one of them pulled out again.
"Don't worry, we won't kill you know, but Rusty wants us to send you a message." All three proceeded to walk over to Bobby and began to beat him down. Alec just watched as he got beaten to a bloody mess. He decided to walk away; Bobby was finally getting what he deserved.
