96| Keep Looking for You

Elmar just got off the stage. He just held his first solo concert. Since graduating from Abraham High School, Elmar has been involved in the world of sound arts. He not only stopped as an actor as well as in commercials but also learned to be a singer.
Elmar's popularity in the entertainment world has skyrocketed. On the other hand, Pack Delamo, who was once scattered, is now reunited. Elmar regained his position as Alpha from the Delamo Pack in place of his father.
Edison, along with Pack Fuller and members of the mafia in the black district, for the past year has continued to guerrilla to the border. They helped Pack Abraham to fight the lycans and vampires.
The manager gave Elmar mineral water when he got off the stage. They rushed to leave the concert location for their next destination.
"Our schedule is still packed, Elmar. You can't stay busy with your personal agenda."
"I already told you. Within a week, I want to take a day off. I have a personal matter I need to settle with the alpha from Pack Fuller."
The manager shivered for a moment. "You mean that Mad Dog? All local and international media reports how crazy it is for him to work on the battlefield as Hunter Abraham's right-hand man."
"His name is Edison, not a mad dog! He is my best friend. I've never doubted his fighting ability and intelligence. The entire vampire race and the rebellious lycans were subdued by Hunter because of Edison's ability to hack into their communication network system."
"I remember your debut when you were still together in B4. Ah, there's one more handsome guy. Who's that? Aland Hamilton? How is he now? I have noticed that since the last year, Pack Hamilton seems to have withdrawn and does not want to join any pack, especially Pack Abraham."
Elmar, who was drinking his mineral water, suddenly stopped. He threw the mineral water bottle at the manager and rushed to the limousine that picked him up.
Elmar just left the manager and forbade him to get into the limo with him.
The manager swore. "Boy, is Elmar mad at me? Why is he so sensitive every time he talks about Aland Hamilton."
Inside the limousine, Elmar clenched his fists so tightly.
"No one should interfere with Aland, no matter what. He had already suffered enough during this time. Even Hunter is working desperately to make amends to Aland and Jonea. We all work hard to pay for our past sins and mistakes."
Elmar stared out the window of the limousine. He saw the summer sky that was so bright. The full moon stretches beautifully in the night sky.
That night, Elmar had promised Edison to meet in the woods and hunt together.
"After so many months, we have not met and are busy with each other's activities. Finally, tonight has come!"
A pack of wolves was running around in a forest far on the outskirts of Blue Sapphire Country. They played around and hunted whatever animals they could get their hands on. The wolves trotted ahead of each other under the silver light of the full moon.
The leader had arrived at a cliff close to the waterfall. Far below, there was a magnificent view of the city. The herd leader stared far away and gave a long howl at the silver moon.
On the opposite hill, separated by a ravine, another pack of wolves also began to appear. They also replied to the howl of the first wolf standing near the waterfall.
The two wolves then turned and made their way down the hill. After running for several hundred meters, the two packs of wolves from two different packs met. They stood in a clearing with meadows and flowers.
The hot summer night breeze blew, carrying the scent of flowers to the wolves' nostrils.
The two herds transform themselves into humans. The first wolf to lead the pack came from the direction of the waterfall, taking the form of Aland Hamilton. The second pack of wolves standing across the ravine, led by Edison Fuller. They met in a flower field.
Aland was only wearing trousers and was bare-chested. His bluish-grey hair was already long. He partly braided his hair on the left side and let the right side hang long. In the braided hair, Aland is seen wearing black earrings.
Edison appeared in black trousers and an unbuttoned white shirt. His hair was cut short, and a necklace with a ring pendant was around his neck.
They meet and hug each other. The other wolves from the two packs turned into human men and women. They were beta, gamma, and several warriors who joined the hunt that night.
"You have a new tattoo?" Ed said while punching Aland's muscular stomach lightly.
Aland felt his stomach tattooed with pictures of plant tendrils entwining each other. The tattoo was to cover up the scar from the silver stake Jonea had drawn. A lifetime, Aland will never forget it. He perpetuated the scar with a tattoo.
"When did you come back from the border?" said Aland. "You look thinner now. Did Hunter give you too much work there?"
Ed tapped Aland on the shoulder. They looked up at the sky lit by a silver moon.
"Do not worry about me. How about you? Did you manage to find her, Aland?"
Aland shook his head. "I'm still trying to find her. She's really a smart girl. She did what I asked–disappeared so that not even the earth could find her. I would have found her if she wanted to be found by now."
Aland patted Ed on the shoulder back. "Do not work too hard. I know you're also secretly looking for her. Was it on Hunter's orders?"
Ed looked sombre. He shook his head weakly. "Even Hunter has completely changed this time. I barely recognized him anymore. Hunter has become so cold and cruel."
"I still have business with him that I haven't finished," Aland said. "If indeed he is back in town, I want to see him immediately."
"Need me accompany?" Ed asked.
Aland glanced at Edison. "You're worried we'll fight and kill each other? Don't worry, we're not kids anymore."
"It's precisely because you guys aren't kids anymore that I'm more worried. We made this friendship many years ago. I'm so worried when I see you two haven't greeted each other for a year now."
Ed and Aland returned to their wolf forms. The two alphas of each pack split up.
Ed led the pack south, and Aland led the pack back to Pack Hamilton in the woods.
Aland isolated himself and returned to his pack in the forest last year. He completely stays away from city life and focuses on tracking down Jonea. He sent all his warriors across the country to find the girl's whereabouts.
Aland had arrived at the campsite and was about to enter his tent. It's the most enormous tent there. Also, Aland took Jonea to the tent when the girl was injured.
A group of youths came running. They were young men in their early 20s. Their faces looked tired, and they had just returned from a long journey.
"Alpha," said one of the youths. "We have important information for you."
"Did you find her?" Aland looked so enthusiastic.
"Apart from that, there is another bad news that you need to know."
"Tell me right now!" Aland shouted while pulling the young man's collar with an angry look.
