105| Sending Love to Hunter

"Then what do you think I can do? I'm even just an Alpha display in my pack. It looks like they think of me as a powerful Alpha on the outside, but my mother is actually the Alpha."
"Listen to me carefully, Hunter. My chance to talk to you is only this time. Before the guards took you back to the prison, your mother created."
The two bodyguards who had come to the bar with Hunter approached them. One of the bodyguards even tried to get Elmar away from Hunter.
"It's okay; he just wants to go to the toilet. I will help him walk. I also want to go to the toilet." Elmar supported Hunter's arm on his shoulder. "You guys just wait here."
Elmar literally took Hunter in his arms and helped him to the toilet. The two bodyguards couldn't believe it. One followed behind and even watched at the door as Elmar and Hunter entered the men's room together.
When they were alone in the toilet, Hunter returned to being himself. He is no longer drunk. No matter how much alcohol he downed, Hunter was still sober and fit.
"Listen to my advice one last time as a former playboy and a true lover."
Hunter grinned. "Your advice? What can you give me? How to hook the beautiful girls out there? With my current power, I can easily bring in as many girls as I want. They even came to me themselves."
"But not with love!" interrupted Elmar decisively. "You can never get love with power and a frozen heart."
"Love?" Hunter sounded fed up. "You brought me here just to talk nonsense? What does this have to do with love?"
"Only love will make you aware and see things more gently."
Elmar sat on the edge of the sink.
"Love gives you a heart. Leadership without a heart filled with love will only make you a ruthless leader. Don't you also want to be loved? All this time, your mother has tried to mould you into a cold, cruel, and loveless dictator. If you fill your heart just a little bit with love, you can bring peace to the whole country."
"You will help everyone to survive. The future should be like that. Not a future filled with fear and threats like your mother's created all along."
Elmar landed both hands on Hunter's shoulders.
"I know, deep down, you think that way. This country will have no future if we are constantly at war. There will be no peace if we continue to subdue those who oppose our wishes and opinions using violence."
"I know you have the power and strength to go against your mother's opinions and policies. It's just that you don't dare to try. Are you afraid that you will be disappointed again and afraid that you will lose again?"
"Stop it, Elmar!" Hunter brushed Elmar's hands off his shoulders. "I don't understand the bullshit you're talking about."
Hunter turned to face the sink. He turned on the water faucet and started to wash his hands, sweating from nervousness.
"Don't keep lying to yourself, Hunter Abraham. I know you're still expecting Jonea. You still want Jonea by your side."
"She has rejected me!" shouted Hunter, thumping the edge of the sink. "She's been ignoring me. She only wants Aland."
Elmar continues to urge Hunter. "Jonea just wants you to be a wise and just leader. Didn't you promise Jonea? If you know your mother is the mastermind behind all these bad deeds, then you will punish her yourself. Then, why are you now hiding behind your mother's tyrannical attitude? Do you want to continue to be a loser for the rest of your life?"
Hunter pushed Elmar angrily.
"Will I be able to get Jonea if I really keep my promise?"
"No one can promise that, Hunter."
Elmar removed Hunter's hand from his shirt and straightened up. They face each other.
"You might be disappointed and won't get Jonea. However, I assure you that you will be satisfied and proud of yourself if you manage to fight against this monstrosity."
Hunter is suddenly pensive. He stared at his reflection in the wet mirror.
The toilet door was knocked hard.
"Looks like our time is up. Your bodyguards can't wait to see the baby they are caring for back. How long will you be constantly looked after like a baby?"
Elmar said scathingly as he washed his hands in the sink, dried them off, and left Hunter alone in the men's room.
When Elmar opened the door, a bodyguard standing in front looked panicked. He peeked over Elmar's shoulder. He wanted to make sure Hunter was still in the men's room.
"Master Hunter, are you all right?" asked the guard.
Hunter was angry and offended. "What do you mean I'm fine? Just tell me if you're afraid I'll run away. Is not it?"
"No, sir. Not like that. We just-"
"You guys are only carrying out the duties and orders of my mother. Yes, I know that!" Hunter shouted angrily and walked out of the men's room with giant strides.
Hunter returned to the car. The private driver spurred the vehicle and returned Hunter to the Abraham family home.
Secretly from his jacket pocket, Hunter took out a piece of paper that had slipped Elmar before he left the men's room.
"If you don't have anyone in this world to fight against your mother's tyranny, never hesitate and worry. Because you own us–B4. We never hesitate to take any big risk to support your decision, as long as it is good."
Those were the last words Elmar whispered to Hunter in the men's room.
On the other hand, Elmar was still in the parking lot. He watched Hunter leave with his bodyguards. Then, Elmar contacted Edison via cell phone.
"How is the result? Have you met Aland?"
"Yeah, we are preparing everything here. What about Hunter?" asked Edison. "You managed to give him love?"
Elmar chuckled. "I've tried to do my best. Now, everything returns to Hunter's decision. We can only hope that he can make a wise decision."

"Smile, Jonea," Aland whispered. "You are not alone. We are by your side. No matter what happens, we will always look after and protect you."
Someone approached and entered the cave where Jonea was hiding. Aland was immediately alert and protected Jonea behind his back.
"Someone is coming?" she asked.
"Well, it's Miller. I smelled his scent but sensed no danger. Maybe he came with news about your parents."
Jonea looked disappointed. She thought Miller would come with their parents.
Aland took a shirt and put it on Jonea's body. "Miller can't see you naked, or he'll kill me!"
"Jonea!" shouted Miller. "Where are you?"
Jonea immediately ran to greet Miller. She runs, wiping her tears.
"Miller, where are Mom and Dad?"
Jonea glanced over Miller's shoulder.
"Why did you come alone? Why don't you bring them here? Don't tell me you've come with bad news.”
