Peach woke up with the feeling of vomiting but a familiar voice speak before she can even vomit.
"Try humming. Now!" That familiar voice is full of authority making Peach hummed.
"Oh, gosh. It works." Peach said. She put her hand in her head trying to remember what happened.
"You, trouble girl! How can you get drunk when you knew that you can't handle alcohol!" Kaye chi scold her.
Peach look at her questioning. "What are you doing here? Inside my bedroom and inside my apartment?"
Kaye chi did not answer her question. Instead she show her a cup of coffee and a strawberry cheesecake with a note.
"There is a man who bought this in our cafè. And guess why I'm here?" Kaye chi raise her brow.
"Uh, you deliver it here personally?" Peach said unsure.
Kaye chi clap her hands. "Bingo! Should I let the young man came here to bring this food instead of me? Your cousin?"
That made Peach think. "Tobias? Is he the one who bought that for me?"
Peach asks while sitting down to eat the food. Hunger is eating her!
"No. I know that friend of yours and he is not the one who bought that. Tobias doesn't have your name around his shoulder you know." Kaye chi said making Peach stop eating.
"What do you mean?" She asks. Kaye chi shrugs. "I saw your name on his yummy arms. So it's not Tobias. He have this sharp jawline and a pumping biceps and I think a yummy abs too."
Peach wanted to puke with Kaye's description. "Shit don't even think about him!" Peach hiss when she finally get who is the man behind her free breakfast.
"Oh, so It's your lover?" Kaye chi raised her brow making Peach rolled her eyes. "It's not like that--"
Peach is lost in words. So she didn't bother to explain who is Prince Caspian.
"I am still your cousin Peach. I should meet that man again." Kaye chi said making Peach to look at her.
"Why would you meet him?" She asks. "Duh? For formality? So I can meet the man who I think the one that you ate?" Kaye chi said.
Peach's eyes widen when she realizes what her cousin said. "Wait-- what?! What do you mean by that?!" A flush crept into her cheeks.
"Mourge told me. And she is my bestfriend and you are my cousin-- but still? She knew that? While me, I don't?" Kaye chi said.
Peach shake her head. "Let's drop this topic. We broke up a weeks ago."
Peach decided to get up and get ready for school. Talking to her cousin will only lead her in remembering every pain that Prince Caspian caused.
Luckily, Kaye chi did not say anything until she was about to leave.
"Be careful in school. And I just want you to know that I'm concern with you since I helped you to convince Tita Salem so you can moved here alone." Kaye chi sincerely said.
Peach smile to her cousin and hug her. "Thank you coz. And don't worry. I'm fine."
There is uneasiness with Kaye chi. But Peach decided to brush it off.
Peach was about to leave her apartment when she hear Kaye chi whisper.
"He hurt her again..." Peach's forehead knotted. Slowly she look at her cousin.
"What did you just said?" Peach asks making Kaye jump a little.
"Me? I did not said anything." Kaye chi said. Her cousin is not good at lying. And she's sweating while the aircon is on.
"Definitely lying but I will bruh this off." Peach said before closing the door.
"I hope I will not see his face today." Peach said. She's still inlove with Prince Caspian. But she never give a second chances to anyone. And she need to move on. Seeing Prince Caspian will not help her.
Once Peach is finally inside their Campus, Most of the students is looking at her while whispering.
They even make way whenever she needs space in the balcony.
"So it's true? They broke up?" One of the student asks another student.
Ah, so that's their topic? Her broke up with Prince Caspian.
Peach classically stop and look at the girls. She smile at them before talking with her head held high. "Yes, darling. We broke up weeks ago." Peach smile again before rolling her eyes.
There is nothing to be ashamed of their broke up. Because it is not about her. She did nothing wrong. It was Prince Caspian's game. She just played a part and now. She's broke. But she will not let it affect her for too long.
Everything went smoothly. Prince Caspian is back in his section making Peach at ease while she's studying.
It was lunch time. Peach decided not to eat since she ate a lot in the morning but Sue showed up making her go in the cafeteria with Sue.
"Gosh, I swear I'm still full." Peach said. But Sue just shake her head.
"Girl, can't you see? You're losing some weight!" Sue wince.
Peach look at her body. Yeah, her clothes is loosen up unlike before.
"Maybe because I'm busy?" Peach guess. Her answer makes Sue roll her eyes.
"Shut up and let me get our food while you stay there so it can be our spot." Sue said while pointing her finger to a spot for two peoples.
When Peach is already seating. Her nose start to bleed. Luckily no one sees it so she cover it with her towel.
"Gosh." Peach winced and look at her cellphone to see if there's blood left in her nose.
"What happened to you?" Sue asks when she finally have their foods.
"My nose bleed." Peach answered and winced. "I keep on having bruises. I get so fragile." Peach pout.
Sue raise a brow. "You better be careful. And get some sleep! Your skin. It's pale as paper. You look like a sick person."
Peach just shrugs. She's busy writing a story. And she wanted to finish it as early as possible.
Since the leading man is already gone...
