“Harmless for you maybe,” Mina replied, rolling her eyes. “What’s next? Are you going to invite her to join us for dessert?”
Leo chuckled, leaning back in his chair. “Oh, come on! You know I’d rather be here with you. Isn’t that obvious?”
Mina crossed her arms, feigning indifference. “I don’t know. You’re looking pretty cozy over there.”

Leo shrugged, deciding not to delve deeper into the matter. “Ooh, okay,” he replied, a playful smirk tugging at his lips.
Mina huffed, crossing her arms, but her heart raced at the thought of Leo and the other woman. She quickly tried to divert her thoughts back to the brunch spread, hoping to shake off the jealousy that had suddenly gripped her.
Mina’s voice was barely above a whisper as she asked, “Are you really going to see her tonight?”
Leo shrugged casually, a playful smirk dancing on his lips. “Maybe. Why? Are you jealous?”
Mina rolled her eyes, frustration bubbling to the surface. “Honestly, I’d rather your money go to me than to someone like that.”
Leo leaned in, his eyes gleaming with mischief. “So, you’re saying you’re ready to satisfy me?”
Her cheeks flushed at his boldness, and she stammered, “I—uh…”
Leo chuckled, enjoying her reaction. “Calm down, Mina. I don’t need to pay for a woman’s attention. They line up to please me.”
Mina’s disbelief showed on her face. “Really? You’re that confident?”
“Absolutely,” he replied, leaning back with an air of self-assurance. “I’m handsome and wealthy. That makes me a rare catch. It’s only natural that women want to be with someone like me. And I treat them well and make sure they’re satisfied in bed. So, of course, they’re competitive for my attention.”
Mina listened, trying to mask her discomfort. His logic was hard to argue against, but accepting this side of him—powerful, surrounded by beautiful women—was difficult. “That just seems… shallow,” she said softly.
“It’s just business, Mina,” Leo replied lightly. “Nothing personal. They know what they’re getting into, and I do too. But I promise you, it’s you I want to be with right now.”
Mina listened intently, trying to wrap her mind around Leo’s reasoning. His logic was solid, but she struggled to accept this side of him—powerful, used to being surrounded by beautiful women. 
As she contemplated, a thought hit her: she wasn’t really anyone significant to Leo. Just a fake fiancée, paid to fulfill a role. In a way, she was merely an employee, serving his needs professionally. It felt strange to think that way about their relationship, yet it made her realize she had no right to dictate his actions.
“I guess I can’t really tell you what to do,” Mina finally admitted, her voice barely above a whisper. “I mean, I’m just your… assistant, right?”
Leo looked at her, his brow furrowing slightly. “You’re not just an assistant, Mina. You’re my fiancée, even if it’s just for show. And I value you for more than just your role.”
She felt a warmth spread through her at his words, but the earlier encounter still lingered in her mind. “It just feels odd, that’s all. Seeing you with someone like her… I don’t know how to handle it.”
Leo leaned forward, resting his elbows on the table. “You don’t have to handle anything. Just be yourself. I’m not going to let someone like her get in the way of what we have, even if it’s complicated.”
Mina bit her lip, trying to suppress a mix of insecurity and curiosity. “You’re so confident. I just… I guess I’m still figuring things out. This whole arrangement is still new to me.”
“Trust me, I get it,” Leo said, offering a reassuring smile. “But the truth is, it’s you I want to spend time with, not her. I’d rather be here with you than anywhere else.”
Mina nodded, feeling a small spark of hope ignite within her. “Okay, but you have to promise me one thing.”
“Anything.”
“Don’t let me find you with another escort again. It… it really gets to me. At least, not right to my face.”
Leo’s expression turned serious. “I promise, Mina. I’ll make sure you’re the only one who gets my attention.” 
The sincerity in his voice made her heart race, even as she grappled with her emotions. Perhaps this arrangement wouldn’t be so bad after all.
As they arrived at the Eiffel Tower, Mina's eyes sparkled with excitement. She pulled out her phone and began snapping pictures, the iconic structure towering majestically in the background. 
“Come on, Leo! Strike a pose!” she urged, laughing as she tried to capture the perfect shot.
Leo rolled his eyes playfully but complied, striking a silly pose with his arms flailing. “How’s this?” he asked, his expression exaggerated.
Mina burst into laughter, quickly capturing the moment. “Perfect! You’re a natural!”
They continued to take photos, and with each click, Mina felt more at ease, the earlier tension between them fading. After a while, she glanced around, her gaze landing on the rows of souvenir shops nearby. 
“Leo, can we check out the souvenirs? I want something to remember this trip!” she said, her voice filled with enthusiasm.
“Sure! Let’s go!” Leo replied, following her into one of the shops. 
Inside, Mina was overwhelmed by the sheer variety of souvenirs: miniature Eiffel Towers, postcards, and quirky trinkets. She wandered from one display to another, her excitement palpable. “Oh, look at this! And this! I can’t decide!”
Leo chuckled, watching her with amusement. “You don’t have to choose just one. How about we get a little bit of everything?”
Mina’s eyes widened in disbelief. “Really? You mean it?”
“Absolutely. It’s not every day we get to be here. Let’s make it special!” 
With that, Leo started picking up items, handing them to Mina as they went along. A miniature Eiffel Tower here, a cute postcard there, and even a couple of cheesy keychains. Mina’s heart swelled with joy as her collection grew.
“Leo, this is too much! You don’t have to buy all of this!” she protested, though she couldn’t hide her smile.
