Chapter 54: "Survival Determination"

This chapter begins with a cold breeze, and it brings snow. The vast ocean seems mad, and it will result in a great storm.
Our protagonists, Catalina and Shin-su, watch over the raging sea nearby, and they both brave themselves even though they are weak and afraid of what they will face. The temperature of the Earth will drop by 13 degrees in three days, but luckily, due to unknown reasons, it just decreased by 8.
Japan is one of the countries that initiates and experiences tsunamis due to the land motion in its ocean. The straight line that connects to other nations a few kilometers from Sado Island will start a devastating wave.
The process of creating tsunamis will scientifically start with a series of earthquakes, but a phenomenon of the world causes the sea to become enraged with or without movement on its sea floor.
The first part that will be affected by this massive wave line is some parts of China and behind the land of India and the Philippines. The sky-like tsunami that will nearly reach the sky continues to move, and it will affect and destroy every nation of the world with its lowest temperature, which kills all inhabitants.
How can our protagonists stop it, and can they all work together for the sake of the whole world?

Ben drives his car to where Shin-su and Catalina are to help them. Its left cheek and forehead have a coating of white bandages, even its left arm.
"Damn, that guy gave me a hard time. I have to go see Shin-su and Catalina."
The scene moved to Ashura's group, who, in turn, entered the underground they made to protect themselves from the coming crisis even though there was no certainty if they would survive.
Ashura was in his simple bed with his eyes closed while thinking deeply.
"I don't want to be the hero of this world, but why does it seem like someone is pushing my heart to help them? But what can I do with my power with a small fire of mine."
Ashura said in her mind and remembered what Ben had said as they sat on the ground after their battle.

"Trust us, we can save the world!"

Ashura opened his eyes and spoke.
"Save?! Is that possible?! I don't believe them.
From Ashura's serious face, the scene shifted to Catalina's eyes as they watched the fury of the waves in front of them with Shin-su.
"Catalina, get ready because I feel waves will hit us in a minute."
Shin-su said emphatically to Catalina, which shocked her.
"What?! Shin-su, are you sure about that?!"
Catalina said with shock which in turn comforted by Shin-su.
"Don't worry, Catalina, I won't let you get hurt!"
Shin-su raised the sword that his God Lamisowa offered to him.
The sea in front of them was moving violently, and a few seconds later, they felt several waves heading in their direction.
"Catalina, give our best! The madness of this sea is surely insane!"
Shin-su shouted, to which Catalina only nodded.
"Numerous wind edges!"
"Arrows of Destruction!"
Catalina and Shin-su used their attack repeatedly to avoid being swallowed up by the angry waves of the ocean, even though they were weakened by the extreme cold every time they moved.
"Shin-su, it seems like it's never-ending!"
Catalina said with her voice fading.
"Don't give up, Catalina! Trust me, we can do it!"
Shin-su motivated Catalina and gave some strength with words. Both keep themselves from giving up through mutual trust and determination.
"Damn, the coldness weakened me, but I shouldn't show weakness in Catalina's eyes."
Shin-su said in his mind.
The waves intensified, and it increased with the extreme coldness of its water.
"Biyo Noki Ne Lamisowa!" (Wind force of God Lamisowa!).
Shin-su suddenly focuses himself and then releases numerous violet forces in all directions, which destroys all waves.
"Shin-su?! You're amazing! Your power is so impressive!"
Catalina shouted with amazement at Shin-su's attack.
"No, that's not my power, Catalina, it's the power of my God, hehe."
Shin-su's powerful attack temporarily calmed the waves, but it wasn't enough to stop them.
"Shin-su, they're forming back again."
"We deal against nature, so expect it, Catalina."
"Shin-su, it's my turn."
Catalina suddenly released her two wings like before when she was unconscious, but this time, she was aware. Round objects in her vast environment formed arrow shapes as she rose into the air.
"Since my power borrowed from a great God, I will call it "Arrows of Destroyer!"
Her attack made Shin-su happy as it hit the growing wild waves and destroyed it all temporarily. Catalina returned to its human form as she slowly descended and weakened.
"You're great, Catalina. Some days, you will know how to unlock your hidden abilities!"
Shin-su compliments Catalina and is proud of what Catalina achieved.
"Thank you, Shin-su. I trained myself so I will not be a burden to you."
"Catalina, you've never been a burden to me because..."
Shin-su could not continue what he said when the ocean suddenly moved again.
"Catalina, let's not waste too much power. There's nothing we can do but use our abilities slowly until a massive one comes!"
The two defended themselves for a few minutes, but as time went on their speed and strength ran out. They noticed that the waves were getting angrier and bigger, and the two were about to use their strength again when Catalina suddenly fell to her knees due to weakness caused by fatigue and cold.
"Catalina!"
Shin-su approached Catalina and held her by both shoulders.
"Damn, even if she honed her power, she still lacks experience in such a situation.
Shin-su said in his mind.
"Catalina, are you okay?"
"I'm okay, Shin-su. Don't worry so much."
Catalina stood up slowly while Shin-su supported her but was surprised, and the two looked at a huge wave that was about to swallow them.
"Shin-su!"
"Stay rest yourself, Catalina. Don't worry. No matter what happens, I will hold you."
Shin-su hugged Catalina, which made her blush.
The big wave was about to swallow them when it suddenly turned into ice and hardened, which surprised Catalina.
"Shin-su, the wave turned into ice."
Catalina shouted as she was shocked by what she saw. Shin-su opened his eyes and saw Ben behind Catalina.
"Ben?!"
"Looks like you enjoyed each other. What a romantic scene! hahaha"
The two of them suddenly let go of each other and blushed.
"I'm sorry, and I am late. Now it's my turn. Please give me some space, young couple."
Ben touched the ground while Shin-su and Catalina ran away in the two corners.
He succeeded in turning the big waves of the sea into ice, and after that, Catalina and Shin-su sat down on the land due to their body fatigue, which Ben imitated to rest.
"Good thing you came, Ben."
Shin-Su said that and then he lay down on the ground.
"Hey, Ben. Where did you go, and you came late?
Catalina asked him as she was annoyed.
"Sorry, hehe. I just fought a wolf difficult and painfully."
"Fought?! A wolf?! What do you mean by that?!"
Ben does not answer Catalina's question because there was a strong earthquake that destroyed the block of ice surrounding the big waves, and it moved again so violently that will hit the three.
"Catalina, hold me!"
Catalina held Shin-su's hand, and Ben made a shelter that looked like a cave to protect the two, but this shelter cave couldn't handle it because the frozen cold water deliberately weighed it down. Ben managed to cliff the land and successfully protect them.
"Huh! Thank you, Ben.
Shin-su and Catalina thanked Ben at the same time.
"Welcome, young couple.
Ben teased the two despite his fatigue.
"We are not a couple!
The two are annoyed to answer him comically.
"I feel love because you hold hands."
The two of them loosened their hands from each other and comically turned away.
Ben walked on the top he made on the ground, and the two imitated it. The three were surprised and terrified of what they were watching because the waves were moving so violently that they seemed to summon another big wave.
"What happened?! It's too scary!"
Catalina said with nervousness in her heart.
"Oh my God."
Ben is just speechless after his words
"Is this a disaster of your world?!"
Shin-su is wondered and shocked.
The shock of the three doubled when they observed a huge wave that was almost up to the sky in height.
"Ben! Shin-su!"
Catalina shouted when she observed a gigantic wave.
"Oww, no! It's too much to my expectation!"
Ben is shocked because he expects differently.
"It can destroy the whole world!"
Ben added followed by Shin-su.
"What we can do with such a big wave?!"
"We have to try and give it our all strength, or else we all die without achievement!"
Catalina is just brave and confident despite of impossible situation

The scene cuts to Ashura driving his classic car and looking off for a few seconds at the dark clouds as he listens to the radio that seems to announce the inevitable tragedy coming to the world.

The chapter returns to the scene where Ben, Shin-su, and Catalina are ready to give all their remaining strength.|

Sado Island, Japan.

"Get ready, give it your all!"
Ben shouted as he raised their morale which was answered by the two at the same time.
"Yes!
This large and wide wave was coming towards the location of the three, and Catalina started the attack, followed by Shin-su.
"Gigantic Arrows!"
"Yukaseri Ne Lamisowa Miyori Oki!" (Ultimate Sword of Lamisowa times 5)"
Catalina's big arrow pierced some parts of its wave while Shin-su's attack sliced a large part, but it wasn't enough to knock out the big wave.
"Damn! We only reduce less than 10% of its shape! It was huge!"
"How is this!"
Catalina and Shin-su said with frustration.
"Give me some space, young couple. We'll die together if my attack doesn't work, hahaha!"
Ben said with a positive smile even though he already knew the outcome.
"Ben?!"
The two just smiled and fell to the ground because their strength was exhausted.
"Damn, I've used all my strength!"
Shin-su is too tired to say that word.
"This is it! Let me introduce my fighting warrior! 
"Art of War: Nature Confederation!"
Ben mixed everything as soon as he could and covered it with ice. Its shape looks like a giant warrior that ran in a big wave, and it attacks with its giant sword. It breaks some parts of the waves until Ben loses control of it.
"Damn! I can only use that attack for only two minutes!"
Ben reduces almost 15 percent of this gigantic wave. He closed his eyes as he watched the giant wave that would destroy the entire world.
"Ben. Looks like this is the end of us, haha!"
Shin-su said jokingly to Ben as if they had accepted their death.
"Shin-su man, it looks like this is our fate, haha. I'm happy to be with you."
Ben said to Shin-su who agreed with what he said.
"So this is how it's going to end. Baba and miyo!"
Catalina said with too much worry.
The big wave that was about to come to its ice state was about to swallow them, but suddenly, this big wave went down, and it was not clear what force was pulling it. It went down to the bottom of the ocean for a few minutes, but its force seemed to have damaged some countries, and the three were engulfed by its force. Ben was able to build a hard shelter like a cave to protect the three of them but it was not enough to prevent them from being hit by the final force caused by the impact of the big wave came down and they were swallowed by the water.

The scene cuts to Cao Xi's mother, Xiāng Sanders, who is watching television to catch up on current events. It watched that the ocean that was raging in the first line, which in turn was located near Japan island, suddenly stopped and calmed down for an inexplicable reason.

The scene shifts to Ben sitting as if watching the ocean water.
"The water is about to freeze forever..."
He is worried about what will happen in the future, but what draws his attention more is Catalina and Shin-su, who are unconscious because of what happened. Ben is the only one who seems unaffected by the cold water caused by the continuous cooling of the world's temperature.
"Damn... I bet their bodies couldn't handle what happened today! They almost died!"
Ben carries Shin-su and Catalina toward his car, which cannot be determined where is because of his power to move the land. As he walks, weakness, fatigue, seriousness, and anger on his face.
