Chapter 19: A Final Vision Leads the Way Sienna could feel the vision coming on before it even fully hit her. She was in her room, her head on her pillow, trying to sleep, but an eerie sensation crept up her spine—a sensation she knew all too well by now. She held her lapis lazuli crystal tightly in her hand, bracing herself. In an instant, she was no longer in her room. Instead, her surroundings shifted, morphing into the dimly lit interior of a warehouse. She could see shadows flitting across the space, men gathering around tables piled high with blueprints and weapons. The symbol she had seen on the kidnapper’s clothing—the same insignia Anjo had identified as belonging to Barron’s syndicate—was painted in red on one of the walls. The vision intensified, pulling her deeper. She saw glimpses of the men loading weapons, fitting themselves with masks, and whispering among themselves. Then, as if someone was guiding her gaze, she turned to a calendar on the wall. The date was circled: **Friday night, 11:00 PM**. Abruptly, the vision shifted. She saw a bank with massive vaults, men entering from a backdoor, cutting through steel barriers with dangerous precision. Her heart raced as she watched them prepare for a heist—a heist that she now knew was going to happen soon. With a gasp, she sat up in her bed, breathing hard. Her heart thundered as the images lingered in her mind. --- The next morning, Sienna rushed over to Anjo’s house, her heart pounding with urgency. She barely knocked before the door opened and Anjo appeared, dressed for work. “Sienna?” he asked, his brows knitting together. “It’s early. Everything alright?” She nodded, trying to catch her breath. “Anjo, I had another vision. This one… it’s important.” He gestured for her to come in, closing the door behind them. “Sit down, tell me everything.” Sienna took a deep breath, gathering her thoughts. “I saw a warehouse. Men—Barron’s men. They’re planning a heist, I think. There were blueprints, weapons… they’re planning to hit a bank. I saw the date, too. It’s happening this Friday night, at eleven.” Anjo’s face grew serious. “Did you see which bank?” Sienna shook her head, frustrated. “No, I couldn’t make out the name, but I saw some kind of logo… it looked like an eagle. Maybe it’s part of the bank’s symbol?” Anjo considered this, nodding slowly. “Alright. There’s only one bank in town with an eagle logo—the Northern Securities Bank.” Just then, Garner arrived, knocking before stepping inside. He seemed a bit surprised to see Sienna already there. “Hey… did I miss something?” Sienna quickly filled him in on the vision, watching as his expression shifted from surprise to intense focus. “So, they’re planning to rob a bank?” Garner asked, folding his arms. “We can’t just sit around waiting for that to happen.” Anjo nodded. “No, we can’t. If your vision’s accurate, then we only have two days to stop them. We’ll need to act fast.” Sienna glanced at Anjo, her voice shaking slightly. “Anjo, do you think they’ll be armed? They looked… dangerous.” Anjo’s gaze softened. “Probably, yes. But don’t worry about that. You’re not getting anywhere near the scene, alright? Leave the dangerous stuff to me and my team.” Sienna opened her mouth to protest, but Garner placed a hand on her shoulder, giving her a gentle look. “He’s right, Sienna. We don’t want you anywhere near those guys. You’ve already done enough by giving us this information.” She sighed, nodding reluctantly. “Fine. But… I still want to help in any way I can.” Anjo gave her a reassuring smile. “Just keep those visions coming. Every detail you can give us will help. I’m going to call the team in for a meeting, and we’ll start making a plan.” --- A few hours later, Anjo’s team of investigators and officers gathered in a briefing room, where he had written down the details Sienna had shared. The room was abuzz with activity as he explained the vision. “Based on the information Sienna provided, we have a potential heist scheduled for Friday night at Northern Securities Bank,” Anjo began, pointing to a map on the wall. “We need a solid plan to stop them. Let’s assume they’ll have multiple entry points and backup support in case something goes wrong on their end.” One of his colleagues, Officer Ramos, leaned forward, tapping the map. “We could set up a perimeter around the bank, station officers at every possible exit.” Anjo nodded, considering this. “Good. We’ll also need plainclothes officers inside the bank during the day. We don’t want them to suspect anything before they make their move.” --- Meanwhile, Sienna and Garner waited anxiously at a nearby café. Sienna fidgeted, unable to shake the tension in her chest. Garner reached across the table, taking her hand. “You okay?” She managed a small smile, grateful for his presence. “I’m just… nervous. What if the vision was wrong? Or what if they’re planning something else that I didn’t see?” Garner gave her hand a gentle squeeze. “Sienna, you’ve done more than anyone could have expected. You’ve helped Anjo and the police. If it weren’t for you, they wouldn’t even know about this heist.” Sienna took a deep breath, letting his words calm her. “Thanks, Garner. I don’t know what I’d do without you.” He smiled, leaning forward. “Good thing you won’t have to find out, then.” They shared a quiet moment, and for a brief second, the tension eased. --- On Friday night, Sienna waited anxiously at home with Garner. Anjo had insisted that they stay far away from the bank, though Sienna wished she could be there to support him. Every minute felt like an eternity, and she found herself pacing the room. Garner tried to keep her calm, distracting her with small talk and jokes, but he could see the worry etched into her face. Finally, after what felt like hours, Sienna’s phone rang. She snatched it up, relief flooding her when she saw Anjo’s name on the screen. “Anjo?” she answered, her voice trembling. “We did it, Sienna,” Anjo’s voice came through, slightly breathless but triumphant. “Thanks to your information, we caught them red-handed. They didn’t know what hit them.” Sienna felt a wave of relief wash over her, tears springing to her eyes. “Thank you, Anjo. I was so worried…” He chuckled. “You don’t need to worry about me. You did an amazing job, Sienna. You’re the reason we were able to stop them.” She let out a shaky laugh. “I couldn’t have done it without you, Anjo.” After a few more minutes of talking, Sienna hung up, feeling lighter than she had in days. Garner wrapped his arms around her, pulling her into a tight hug. “You did it, Sienna. You really did it,” he whispered, holding her close. Sienna leaned into his embrace, her heart swelling with gratitude and relief. For the first time, she felt a sense of peace with her gift, knowing that she had used it to make a real difference.
