Episode 16.

"Please, I'm begging you! I can't go back out there. If you send me back, it's like you're handing me over to them. They'll kill me. I ran all this way to get to you, to find safety. I was running from armed men, I mean Mr Danforth and his men, they were chasing me! Please, don't send me back. They'll kill me, I'm begging you!"
"At least, if it's now, I need you to... for the destiny you've always dreamed of, to sacrifice your life... or at least, sacrifice your life for the greater good." She continued, her voice unwavering. But Daniel cut her off, his patience worn thin. Her words were grating on him, he didn't want to hear another syllable. All he wanted was for her to stand up and leave.
"And thanks to you, I've learned my lesson. Never sacrifice my life for something that doesn't want it. If I die, who will stand up for the voiceless? Who will fight for my people? I can't die for someone like you, you're not one of the people I'm fighting to protect."
"And don't forget, the last time I gave you that option, I risked my life for you, and you almost killed me! I don't know what your plan is this time, but they told you I wouldn't hurt you. That's why you're back. But I'm giving you a chance to leave. Don't annoy me, don't try to turn me against what I'm fighting for. If you stay, I might become the very thing I've been fighting against. Just leave, stand up and leave right now!"
Daniel's words were a harsh reprimand, leaving her speechless. She was exhausted from begging, her pleas falling on deaf ears. Maybe there was another way. Maybe she could scream, call out for her sister, Tina. Maybe Tina could hear her and come to her rescue. It was a better option than staying here. But the thought of screaming brought a new danger. Daniel might think it was part of some plan she had with the police, and try to shoot her. That would create chaos, a conflict between him and her sister, leaving her with no chance of escape.
And most importantly, she can't even sense any present of another person in the house with him talk less of her sister Tina.
The best option seemed to be simply waiting. Maybe another time she could return or she should just find a place inside the woods and sleep there, maybe when she saw her sister, she could come out and see her in person. Perhaps her sister could talk to Daniel on her behalf.
"Please," she pleaded, tears streaming down her face, her voice barely a whisper, but loud enough for everyone inside to hear. "I regret everything I've done. I know I was wrong. Ever since I did what I did, I haven't had any peace. Please, don't send me away. They'll kill me. There's nowhere else for me to go. This is the best place. I know you won't trust me, and I'm not worried about being trusted, but please, even if you don't welcome me, let me stay. Let me stick around. Maybe you can protect me from them when they come. Or just maybe, let me see my..."
Daniel cut her off before she could finish, his face a mask of grim determination.
"Get out! leave this place right now or else I'll end you!!!!"
"Or....? maybe you think that I am joking please you have turned me into something else and I don't want to use you to start it! but I see that talking to you is not the best option here because you are obviously not ready to understand what I am saying"
"So I will use you as a sample" Daniel said and then he bring out his pistol and pointed it on her ready to shoot her.
"Alright! Please don't shoot me. I'll just leave right now," she said, raising her hands in surrender and slowly turning to go. Daniel still had his gun pointed at her, his face hard and unyielding. She could see the anger simmering beneath the surface, the heat of his rage making him dangerous. He didn't want to hear anything else, he just wanted her gone.
"Alright then," Daniel said, his voice cold. "You better leave now, while you still have your life. Or you'll lose it here."
She wanted to leave, but it felt like the stupidest thing to do without letting him know she was Tina's sister.
It didn't make sense to just leave. Even if he was sending her away, he needed to know who she was and where she came from. She could stay silent and hope for the best, but if he was going to shoot her, she was going to tell him who she was. Maybe, just maybe, that would change his mind.
"Please, you can't send me away," she pleaded, turning back to face him. "I'm one of you. I'm Tina's sister! It was because of her that I betrayed you in the first place."
Daniel was startled. His body froze, his gun still pointed at her. He couldn't believe his ears. This was the girl Tina had been searching for. But he was confused, unsure what to do. How could he be sure this wasn't a setup? Was this really the person Tina had been trying to find?
Gina watched him, her eyes pleading. Daniel was still staring at her, shock etched on his face, but he didn't lower his gun. He needed more proof. She needed to convince him, to make him believe she was truly Tina's sister.
However, if Tina was still alive, she could come out and see for herself. The problem was, Daniel didn't want Tina to know her sister was here, unless she was truly her sister.
Daniel was still hesitant. He wasn't ready to take that risk. He knew that if Tina found out her sister was here, she would do everything in her power to keep her safe. But he didn't trust this girl anymore. He had to do everything secretly. There was no way he was going to accept her back into their fold, not without being sure. It wasn't that he didn't want to save her, or that he didn't want to forgive her. He was just scared that this might be a setup, a way to use Tina's loyalty against them.
"You're Tina's sister? You mean you're the girl she's been telling me about, crying day and night, saying she wants to rescue you? You're that girl?" Daniel asked, his voice tight with disbelief. Gina nodded.
"Then trust me, you don't deserve to be cried over, to be saved. Honestly, your type doesn't deserve a single tear. I'm starting to wonder why she cares about you so much when you're someone who doesn't keep their word. You're nothing like Tina. You don't look like her, and you don't have her personality. Tina is motivated, a dedicated person, someone I want by my side. Her presence is important to me, and having you here would be a huge distraction, a hindrance to our goals."
"But that's beside the point. Tina told me her sister's name is Gina. You said your name is Kate. So what makes you think you can deceive me and I'll just fall for it?" Daniel asked, his eyes narrowed.
"I swear, I'm not trying to deceive you. It's the truth! You can go inside and call her right now. You'll see, she'll be so happy to see me again. She'll hug me, kiss me, and she'll never be happy with you if you send me away," Gina pleaded, but Daniel cut her off.
"You will keep quiet and not tell me what to do! Soldier, keep your mouth shut and answer the question. She told me her sister's name is Gina. Why is your name Kate?" he demanded.
