TRYING TO WIN BACK RIANA - PART 1

As they said their goodbyes with kisses and hugs, Riana felt a mix of emotions, from the joy shared with Jully to the comforting warmth of holding the baby in her arms. That afternoon had been special and meaningful for her. Despite all the challenges and concerns she faced, those moments of connection and tenderness left her radiating happiness.
On her way home, Riana couldn't contain the smile that seemed to light up her face. The memories of the enjoyable afternoon with her friend and the encounter with the baby who had enchanted her continued to echo in her mind, filling her with warmth and gratitude.
Even in the face of adversity and responsibilities, those simple yet genuine moments were like balm for her soul, reminding her of the power of love, friendship, and compassion. With her heart full of joy and hope, Riana continued on her way home, ready to face whatever lay ahead.
Tension settled in the car when a man suddenly appeared, running toward them on the less busy street. Riana, noticing the scene, couldn’t hold back a warning scream that echoed in the confined space of the car. Dody, the driver, reacted promptly, slamming on the brakes to avoid an imminent collision. However, the impact was still unavoidable, and the man ended up hitting the side of the car before falling to the ground.
Riana, visibly shaken by the rapid sequence of events, watched with wide eyes as she tried to process what had just happened. Her heart raced inside her chest, echoing the turmoil unfolding outside the car.
Quickly, Riana opened the car door, her heart still pounding intensely at the unexpected scene. On the ground lay Willian, the same man she had encountered earlier, now seemingly involved in an unexpected incident. Concerned, she knelt beside him and touched his face, seeking to ensure he wasn’t hurt. To her surprise, Willian opened his eyes and sat up, an awkward smile forming on his face.
— Can I get a ride? — Without saying much, he quickly entered the car, as if he wanted to avoid any further confrontation. Riana, still confused by the situation, followed him, worried about his condition.
Before they could fully process what had happened, two men dressed in black suits with red ties appeared in front of the car. Their furious and inquisitive stares suggested they were looking for someone, and the tense atmosphere quickly filled the interior with the vehicle.
Riana immediately sensed the urgency of the situation and didn't hesitate to instruct the driver:
— Go, Dody, hurry!
The driver, still dazed by the sudden turn of events, promptly obeyed her orders but couldn’t contain his curiosity, asking:
— What’s going on, miss?
With a serious look at Willian, who was loosening his tie at that moment, Riana responded to the driver:
— Don’t worry, Dody, I know him.
Her words made Willian look up, but the expression on Riana’s face revealed a mix of confusion and anxiety, and she asked:
— Are you going to tell me what’s going on? This is the second time I’ve seen those men chasing you. Don’t you think you’re too old to be playing tag in the streets?
The exchange revealed the complexity of the situation, making it clear that something more was happening beyond the apparent chance encounter.
Willian laughed, showcasing his charm, and cast a seductive glance at Riana as he spoke:
— Thanks for the ride, but I’ll stay here.
In a burst of concern, Riana grabbed his arm, saying:
— Wait!
She gently wiped the blood from his forehead and continued:
— You’re hurt.
At that moment, their eyes met, and the smile on Willian's face disappeared. He felt his heart race as if Riana’s touch had awakened something within him. He then replied:
— It’s nothing.
Quickly turning to the driver, he requested:
— Please, Mr. Dody, stop at the traffic light. I’ll stay here.
Riana, still reeling from the moment, didn’t let go of his arm and insisted:
— You’re not leaving here. You have to tell me what just happened.
A broad smile spread across Willian's lips as he proposed:
— Alright, I’ll tell you everything, as long as you agree to have dinner with me. Tomorrow night, at Molevade, at 8 PM.
At that moment, the car stopped at the traffic light, and Willian opened the door, turning to her with determination:
— I’ll wait for you until 10 PM. If you show up, I’ll tell you everything.
Without waiting for anything else, he shut the car door and ran across the street. Riana watched as he walked through the square and soon disappeared into the darkness. She remained perplexed, but a smile danced on her lips. Leaning back in the beige leather seat, she felt her heart still racing. She tried to process what had just happened, questioning the mystery surrounding this man who left her so fascinated and intrigued.
