Kairo was scared as he asked worriedly, "Please tell me you didn't drink it."
I shook my head but said with a breathy voice, "But the liquor has touched my lips..."
Then I realised, if I had drunken it, my baby would have...
My heart started to thump as my lips and legs started to quivered, a cold sweat covered me in its thin layer. Was someone trying to kill my baby?
But Arashi had made sure no one knew...
I looked at Arashi and found his eyes were on me. But it was anger that had been dancing in those cold gazes. He was worried but more than that he was furious. His dark eyes had turned cruel and I got a shiver.
I knew he wasn't going to stay still after this.
His eyes took one glance at my belly and then he looked away to the crowd, his trained eyes falling on them with calculated alarm.
I saw he looked at Duke Gingiro as they nodded at each other. Rei was just beside him with a worried look on her face as Noya was in her hands.
Then we found a scream.
Everyone's eyes turned to the source as we saw that the man who had given us the tray was lying dead. His throat was slit open as blood pouring out of it. The wound was still fresh as Arashi shouted, "Takagashi, Lord Fukushi, Duke Ginjiro search the crowd and make sure no one leaves this place until I say so."
As soon as he had ordered, all the Kuro soldiers gathered there and stopped anyone from leaving. Rei felt the scene of the dead man uncomfortable as she covered Noya's eyes.
But Ginjiro shouted, "Hibiki, take Princess Rei away from the body."
While restricting people from going away, some tried to resist and demanded that why the prince was restricting them when the culprit might have already gotten away. The place suddenly grew busy and it suffocated me.
Seeing the gruesome sight, I felt my nausea hitting me. I started to gag as Arashi immediately came to me and ordered everyone from Shinkyo, "Cover that body and make sure she doesn't see it."
In a lightning moment, the men went to cover while the females surrounded me so my eyes couldn't see that body.
As I vomited out the breakfast I had, Arashi said, "Don't lick your lips. You might have some poison on them."
I nodded as Mila and others came in a hurry. Hana said, "Let me take a look at the glasses. I might know how to make an antidote."
Arashi nodded as she and Koji went to retrieve the glasses. A red haired woman came before me with a cloth and a jar full of water as I looked at her quizzically. I didn't know her...
But Mila said, "Princess Bianka, she is Lady Miku. She came here with Hiroshi..."
I nodded as she smiled gently and wiped my mouth. All the elders had surrounded me so others from the guests couldn't see me. They had taken me to another side and made some sitting arrangement so I could take a rest.
While they were tending me, Rose came hurriedly. She asked with a tear stricken face, "Sister Bianka. Are you-are you alright?"
I smiled faintly and said, "I am fine... Don't worry..."
As I said it, she seemed to be calmed down and came beside me. She took my hand in her and started to pay but I found it was her hands which had been shivering. She must be very scared...
But where was Daichi?
I looked around and saw he was talking with his cousins and his knights. As his eyes turned to see where was Rose, his eyes met mine.
As soon as our eyes met, he gave me a scowl and looked away...
... I blinked.
What was his problem?...
As I was calming down I saw my dress.
My bridal dress got a large stain and my heart sank to my stomach that Arashi was the one who chose it for me. No matter what he has given me, those were very dear to my heart and I didn't want any of them to get ruined.
More than that, I realised that our marriage ceremony got ruined.
My lips started to quiver as tears brimmed around the corners of my eyes. It was my long wished dream to marry Arashi in their traditional way but now everything got ruined.
I tried to stop my quivering lips but I couldn't bit them since they might have poison and it would make the matter worse if our baby got hurt.
Mila patted my head and Rose squished my hands. "Please don't cry..."
I shook my head as I smiled but my tears won't stop because I wanted this day to be very memorable. It turned out it certainly got very memorable but in a bad way.
Arashi didn't leave my side as his face struck by worry and sadness. He knew how much I wished this day and he wanted to make it memorable for me. That was why he invited everyone from Shinkyo and his friends to attend it and enjoy it together.
He just stood there while ordered his men to search the crowd.
As I finally stopped crying after a while, I knew my face was a mess. It was funny how I wanted to be pretty for today and now, I looked ugly with a crying face and a messed up make up.
"Sister Bianka, please, don't cry..." Rose said.
I said, "I don't want to but," I hiccuped. "It's just coming on its own."
The hiccups wouldn't stop as I said, "The rituals weren't even finished and..."
Satoshi, the priest said, "The rituals were already finished, your highness."
I looked up and saw he was coming toward Arashi. He said, "It was my fault that I didn't look if all of my subjects were genuine. I guess, there are still some people who worship the temple's previous priest."
He knelt down before me and Arashi and said, "It was all my fault. You can punish me however you want your highness. I'm willing to take everything. "
I said, "It's not your fault... And punishing an innocent won't make it any difference, Satoshi..."
He nodded as his face slumped down. He was sad as well.
However, Arashi said, "It's not your fault. And it certainly is not related to the previous priest incident."
"Then?" He asked.
Arashi said, "It is some another matter where the enemy wants us dead. I have many enemies such as that."
Satoshi nodded and stood up.
In the meantime, Koji and Hana came back with the glasses as she said with a very grim face, "It was a poison for to kill both of you."
Arashi as well as others were shocked around us but we got puzzled as she added, "But only one glass had a distinct scent. It wasn't a poison, it was a medicine."
Medicine?
Hana's eyes fell on me as she pursed her lips. It seemed she didn't want me to know.
Arashi taking the hint, he said, "Alright. Take everything and reach Shinkyo. Bianka would be staying there from now on."
Hana nodded, "Yes, it would be safe there."
I knew they didn't want me to worry further so they were avoiding to tell me anything about it but I still needed to know.
I asked, "What kind of medicine?"
She froze and Koji looked at Mila seemingly trying to tell her to change the subject.
Mila said, "Princess Bianka, why don't you eat something since you have vomited out-"
I stood up and said with an authoritative voice, "What kind of medicine, Hana?"
She looked away and said, "It's a medicine to abort an unborn child."

No women/men should go through this. Because even we don't say it, all of us want to have a marriage where we can be pretty and happy with our partner. The moments spent in this day are the best memories of our lives and even remembering them makes us feel happy.
