Mr. Han
I would take the initiative to rhank jer borther for inviting, if he hasn't would Oi be able to seee her in this gorgeous dress and pretend to be her boyfriend.  Not pretend, I have never pretended. I'm glad she wasn't mad about me amlying about my injury. It was a minor stretch, and my muscles were swollen as the doctor was Dawson, my acquaintant, I asked him for help, and to my surprise, he agreed with no interrogation. He played along, loke I fractured my arm. Thanks to him.
From the windscreen, I avert myvhaze to Anna, and we remained silmet since the ride started. I couldn't help myself but steal glances at her every passing second, and to my surprise, I felt her gaze on me, too. Whenever our gaze met, we chuckled and looked ahead.
This little game seems funny, but I feel over joyed. She seems to be acting differently, man. The way she looks at me recently is odd. My heart goes insans when she appears in my view, and whenever her cheeks heat up, I just wish to cup her face and kiss her. Thisbis girl is ymtoo adorable that I'm unable to hold back my overwhelming instictions.
It's been an hour, and there is another long way to go. I notice her averti g her gaze to the window, and I roll down the shutter. She smiles, the strands of her brunette hair waves for the wind, her eyes squint as she stares out, resting her hands over the window sill. I turn on the music player, and there plays the perfect song, photograph by ed sheeran. The sun shines bright, and the cold air lingers around, blowing into the car. It's going to be winter soon. Time flies, and I'm grateful that she is now besdie me.
"Ice cream!" She sits upright and turns to my direction. "Let's have ice cream?" She asks, moving forward.
I pull the brake, god, if I didn't, i would definitely knock on something as I just can't remove my eyes from her. Pursing nyvlips to a flat line, I take a moment to think and look at her.
"It's already cold outside, and you want ice cream?" I ask, tilting my head. Her lips spread to a gigantic grin— go. Please help me. This girl is making me crazy.
"Having an ice cream when it's chilly is the best feeling." She says.
I expected that from her, and this statement is not new. She had told me this many times whenever it rained when I got back home from school. She whines to have an ice cream on the way. Like she told it's the best feeling and for me, having her next to me, seeing her lick the cream, admiring her smile is the best feeling.
"Ice cream makes you wild." I exhale.
She sits back and unbuckles her seatbelt. "Hmm." She nods.
"You know, what makes me wild?" I ask, leaning to my right.
"What?"
"You." I say.
She looks at me and curls her lips in, staring at me. I move closer, the left corner of my lips twicthing to a smirk, and my lips shrink the next moment as she looks away, opens the day, and hops out.
"Come." She waves and jogs away to cross the road.
A soft chuckle escapes my lipsti see her waiting by the boot. I step out, and she walks ahead. We stand by the ice cream truck waiting till the person before us get their orders.
"Butterscotch right?" I ask as we step forward.
She nods vigorously, the smile never leaving her face. It's been ages tonsee her excited for an ice cream, she is still the same. The girl who enjoys candy floss and ice cream.
The man un truck peeps through the gap, "One butterscotch and—"
"Coffee," she completes the order.
Coffee,  how does she know I'd choose coffee?
I look down at her and raise brows. My stupud smile never leaves my face when she is with me. "How do you know?" I ask.
She claps her hands behind her and lifts her chin high, "What?" She smiles.
"Coffee!"
"I just do." She shrugs and spins around. Taking her cone, the person extended, she walks ahead and I follow her.
What's up with her?
"Ms. Anna," I call out sitting opposite to her, a tiny circular table between us.
"Yes," she licks her lips and gazes at me.
"You seem different today." I speak ny mond out.
"Yeah, I'm not wearing my glasses and did a new make up." She shrugs.
"No, I mean, it's not about the make up and glasses."
She stares at me for a moment and takes a bite of the large scoop. She lowers her gaze, inhales and looks at me again. "Mr. Han," she calls, making ny already attentive slef even nore attentive. I nod, to show I'm waiting for her answer.
"Do you have any regrets?" She asks.
I take abute of my ice cream and kean forward. "No, as you're in front of me right now, I have no regrets." I answer.
Her lipsbtwitch to a grin and she blinks numerous times. "Do you know what I regret?" She asks.
I remain silent studying her.
"I regret, when I moved out I didn't tell goodbye to a friend."
I sit upright and myblips slightly part taken back. Does she mean, me?
"I could nothong back then, it was sudden. My parents always quarrelled and when my dad brought the divorce papers, itvwas the end. My mom left me no time to even collect my belongings," her voice tirns low and I could see her rewinding her past. "I had no time to even take my books." She exhales. "It happened in a short and I didn't know where we were going, when mom told me to pack my things I only thought about this boy, who lives in the residence opposite to my flat. It was late at night and oncs all the things were put into the car, I ran to his door and knocked. I had the time tobknock only once and when I went back, I peeped put the window waiting till someone opens the door, so I could see him and shout to him saying goodbye." She stops, and her lips spread to smile as she takes another bite.
"Ms. An—"
"It's funny that I forgot his name, his real name. I was soo used to calling with a name of my dog that I forgot his actual name. Jackie, that's how I called him." She laughs. "I though he'd hate the nickname, but later he actually like when I addressed him that. I found otvweird though. He was someone I'm grateful for, someone whom I'll never forget, the person who made forget the loud voices. You know when I came back to this city, I cisited the neighbourhood to look for him unexpectedly everything there was changed."
"Anna, you—"
She interrupts, "This guy,  told me he has had a crush on me for a long time. Its been freaking ten years, and now, this person is seated in front of me. Mr. Han—" she takes a moment silence and continues, "I'm glad we met again. I thought we wouldn't meet and I always wondered where you were and how you would look. Here you are, the same annoying person. " she laughs.
I stay still, motionless,  unable to react. She knows it and she remembers me. My girl, remebers me. I don't know how should react, my body is frozsn, and my mind recalls everything about us. I didn't hear thw knock at the door that night if I did, I would definitely find her soon. But, that's how kife works, destiny has their own ways of bringing us together.
"Annoying person?" I ask, rasing a brow questionably.
She chuckes and nods. "Yes, the same annoyingly person."
I sigh leaning back, this feeling is pure ecstacy. "How did you know?" I ask, curious.
"You blurted when you were drunk."
"Ohh, I did?" I take a large bitw of thw ice cream.
"Yes, you did." She mimics. "So, how did you know indentify me?"
"It's easy," I say moving forward, "You look the same."
"It could be someone as me too."
"It was the scar on your lip made me confirm. The stitch scar. " I say. "And then to be hundred percent sure,  I did a backgrounder check." I shrug.
"Ohhh," she grags the 'o' sounds till she fills her mouth withe ice cream.
"You've never changed, the same grumpy short girl." I tease.
"I'm not—" she stands and leans forward, towering over the table, "–grumpy and short." I scrinch ny nose feeling the cold cream on ny the tip of my nose, she sits back. "I'm five feet and two, it's not short, you're just tall." She snaps.
I chuckle as I wipe ny nose with back of my hand and lean forwrd. Extending my arm, I move my cone closer to her nose, the brown cream brushing against her nose. Her eyes squeeze shut and her lips curl in. "I'm not annoyinh and not a jerk." I guffaw sitting back.
She titls her head and opena her eyes, a low laughter escapes her lips when she wipes the cream off.
"You are annoying." She stands and in a flash I feel wet against my cheek. She has rubbed alot this time. "Way too annoying. " she states taking abig bite ifbher scoop.
"Am I annoying?" I asks with raised brows. Ny hand moves up to cheek amd travel down to my jaw feeling the cream.
"Very," she says shaking her head, giving me a glance like she is right, just right and that's the end of the topic.
I sigh leaning back. "You're right, my girl." I say putting the rest of the scoop into my mouth in one bite.
