Serenity's P.O.V:
Because of what happened last time, I bought an umbrella.
It's a rainy season and it's getting colder.
We have no classes for two subjects so I decided to go to the rooftop.
I brought my umbrella because it's raining, again.
I want to feel the fresh air and look at the school's top view.
When I opened the door of the rooftop, I saw someone standing with umbrella.
He's looking at the school's view.
I don't know who he is because all I see was his back.
He's unknown so I stand in a place far from him.
I raised my left hand and breathe heavily.
I smiled while looking at the sky.
The cold wind reminds me of my parents hug.
I miss them so much!
In my peripheral view, I saw he's looking at me.
I was curious who he is, so I look at him.
"Oh? Don't you have a shoot?" I asked him
He walks toward me.
And he..
He drops..
His...
Umbrella?
Is he a psycho?
It's raining but he dropped his umbrella so I ran towards him and shared my umbrella.
"Are you crazy? Why did you drop your umbrella? Can't you see it's raining? What if you catch a flu? What if-" I stopped because of what he did
He is hugging me.
I stopped..
My brain stopped working..
I can feel the tears forming in my eyes.
His hug is warm.
Just like my mom.
Can I-
Can I hug him back?
"It's cold" he sighed while still hugging me
"Ah, yeah" I whispered
His hug became tighten and I hear his breathing.
"Why.. why don't we go back instead? I think you'll catch a cold if this continues" I whispered
"It's warm. It's warm this way. Can we stay like this a little longer?" He sobs
I feel like he's going through a tough time.
"Yeah" I whispered
I didn't think anymore and hug him, too.
I feel like he needs someone to talk to.
We were like this for almost 10 minutes.
And in that time, I can't breathe normally because of my heart beating too fast.
The rain suddenly stopped.
I fold my umbrella.
"Is there someone you like?" He asked so I looked at him
" Huh? I don't think so. But there's a famous tiktoker that I like" I said with a low voice
He pinch my face then smile.
I was about to open my mouth when I suddenly heard a loud commotion on the ground.
I was shock to see a lot of students looking at us.
Uh oh, this is not a good one.
I was about to go back but Dong Min grabbed my hand and hug me that made the commotion much louder!
"What are you doing?" I asked while tapping his back.
He looked at me then smiled.
He rubbed the top of my hair just like what Norman did last time.
"Let's go" he smiled
"What? No! You go first. There's a lot of people watching us. They'll start to create rumors that can ruin your career"
"You go first, I'll let them look at me for a while. In the meantime, you go back" he smiled then look at the people pn ground.
He's waving at them as if there's nothing going to happen.
While I, I am certainly sure what's going to happen.
Going back on our room, I heard them talking about me.
It's full of negativities.
I thought I will hear something like this for the last time in my neighbors.
It's much cruel!
I saw Mica then she dragged me to our classroom.
I sitted and saw our classmates looking at me.
" You really like to be the talk of the campus huh?" Kim joked
" What's going on the two of you?" Mica whispered
" Nothing. I don't know he's there" I answered
" Really? Why did he hug you?" Mica asked
" If she said nothing, then it's nothing" Norman said
I was happy to know there's someone who believes there's really nothing happened.
But Norman's look is not his usual look when he said that.
That's why I don't know if he's sincere or not.
"Okay, but something's really fishy you know" Mica said
"It's really nothing, Mica" I said
" What if he likes you?" Mica asked
" No way, Mica. He's a celebrity you know. There's a huge gap between them" Kim said
I know. There's really a big gap.
" But nothing matters when you fall in love" Mica said
" Why are you talking like that, Mica? Stop asking nonsense" Norman said before going out of the classroom.
" What's his problem?" Kim asked
" Now that's something fishy" Mica said
Shoto's P.O.V:
I still don't understand why dad has a family picture of Gonzales family.
Is he a fan of Sam?
Sam is a famous and great programmer.
I've seen him a few times before and he always treats me right.
He's far from my dad.
My dad acts like he doesn't have a son.
Everytime my mom and I tries to celebrate with him. He keeps on giving excuses.
Sam and his wife are already dead. But he's still keeping that picture.
We're not related family at all.
Sebastian Madrigal, Sam Gonzales.
The last name's too far from being a related family.
When I tried to ask my mom about this before, my dad heard her.
He said he wants to talk to mom.
And after that conversation they had, I saw mom full of bruises.
This man will never change.
I want to leave his place with mom.
Then he keeps on asking me why I treat him like that.
I will continue on being cold towards him unless he asks for my mom's forgiveness for hurting her everytime.
" Mr. Madrigal?" someone called
I still think about what he wants from Gonzales family.
" Ah, Mr. Madrigal? Can I have your attention please" I saw it's our professor calling me.
I know what he wants, he wants to deliver something to my dad, again.
I walk towards him and get the box on top of his table.
My dad's the university director. He thinks my dad will promote him just by giving these bribes.
He doesn't know that this man always throw whatever he receives.
I'm infront of his office, and he is talking to that person, again.
Boss..
Just who are you?
My ear irritates everytime I hear that word.
I entered his office without knocking and place the box on top of his table.
" Shoto, can you do me a favor?" He asked
" What?"
" Give this to Cha Dong Min. It's a message from his dad"
" Why would I? Why don't he just call him?" I asked with confusion
" He's ignoring his dad"
Maybe his dad's just like you that's why he ignored him.
I didn't say anything and leave immediately.
They're on a break for shooting.
I saw him sitting while drinking.
I handed him the letter.
" What's this?" He asked
" From your dad "
I saw his face changes into bad mood.
He got the letter and threw it.
" I don't want anything from him. Don't give me anything" he said in a cold expression
" Don't imagine I'll be giving you another. I was just ask to do give you that" I said in a cold expression,too.
I don't like the way he looks at me.
It's irritating.
I don't know why but I always get irritated everytime I see him since the introduction day.
"Ah, so your father is the director?" he asked with irritating face
" Sadly, yes." my short response
" Why does he keeps on calling my dad?" he asked that made me confuse
Don't tell me your dad is...
That's why I feel nothing towards you but irritation.
" By the way, what's your relationship with Gonzales?" I asked him that changed his mood
" Why?"
" Because I need to protect someone precious to me"
" I don't understand " he said calmly
" She's a friend to someone I like for a very long time. I'm sure she'll be ask by tons of questions regarding the two of you"
" Ah, she's.."
After giving me his answer, I went back to our classroom.
I knew it.
I knew what will happen after the professor leaves.
Ailyn and Lovely are being surrounded by the class.
That's why as a class president, I stood infront and told them to sit down.
Because of the title, director's son.
They immediately sit down.
"Where have you been, Shoto?" Steph asked
" I went to talk to Dong Min regarding him and the one he's with on the rooftop" they became interested after I said that.
" Tell us! " They said
" There's nothing going on between them. Dong Min sees Gonzales as his younger sister only. He likes someone else. So you should stop asking Lovely, and Ailyn."
My answer gave sadness to Lovely and Ailyn.
I had no choice but to lie.
I need to tell them something that will make everyone feel at ease for the meantime.
Ray's P.O.V:
The professor's not here yet.
I decided to talk to Serenity in the class.
" Do you know Dong Min's family?" I asked
" I thought you're going to ask something not related to him" she said with disappointment
" Why? I think he likes you" I said
Norman stands up and look at me.
"Can we talk for a moment?" He said
"Sure" I sighed
We headed out of the classroom to talk.
"What do you want to talk about? I'm still asking her. I need to know if she likes him" I said
" Stop doing that. It's nonsense"
"Whoa, recently, you became a really different person. Why? Are you afraid?"
He pushed me and corner me.
"Why would I?" He asked
"Because you like her"
He immediately let go of me.
"No, I just want to make sure she's safe" he said
"Really? I just want to make sure she's safe. You know. I'd like to always know she's safe"
"Who are you?" He asked with angry face
" I'm Ray" my answer that made him pushed me again.
" Who.. are you?"
" Why do you want to know?"
" Because it's strange. I saw you when she's applying for a job before. You always pop out on the places she has been"
Does he know?
Does he really know?
" I told you, because I want to make sure she's safe" I answered
" I'm not satisfied with how you answer. You better stop talking to her. From now on, I will always watch your actions"
He left and go back to the classroom.
I think I need to be more careful from now on.
