"We are the lovesick girl~" I sang along while watching Blackpink's Lovesick Girls MV on TV.
You see, something happened recently. Temporarily, Grandpa had the school closed because it wasn’t safe. Well, I think that’s the right decision since we never know what might happen.
But even so, we still have online classes every Saturday and Sunday.
"Can you not sing that? It sounds so bitter!" Shanize, who was sitting next to me, shouted. Tss, such a moment ruiner.
"Mind your own business," I snapped at her. I grabbed the remote and switched to Kill This Love, which made Shanize look at me again.
"Just get a boyfriend already. Gosh." She said and went back to her game on her phone.
Boyfriend? Duh~ I know I’m pretty but it’s a no.
"Can’t believe the old playgirl is a good girl now." She added.
Yeah, before Cairo and I got together, I had like, three boyfriends, but each only lasted about a week? I guess I was kind of a playgirl? I’m good at flirting, and I tend to lead people on sometimes—but like, isn’t it fun to do that? Just kidding!
"I feel like Ruhan likes you? What do you think?" I choked when my sister said that.
What the? Ruhan? Like me?
I’m practically the opposite of his dream girl.
Well, I admit... if I had a crush on Yohan before, then maybe it’s not impossible to like that crazy Ruhan too.

"He doesn’t like me, you fool," I said and hit her on the head.
KNOCK! KNOCK!
"I’ll get it." I said, standing up and walking to the door.
I was met by a delivery guy holding—one, two, three, four, five? Five?!
"U-uh, sir? Are these all for us?" I asked, and he nodded.
I closed my eyes in frustration. I told Shanize not to order food!
"SHANIZE!!!" I yelled, trying to calm myself down. I know we’re both food lovers, but five paper bags?
FIVE!!
"H-hi... you’re s-so pretty... hihihihi," he said, waving at me. I just took the food and paid for it.
Guess how much it all cost... 7,450 pesos! Like, what the fvck! We’re going to get scolded by Mom for sure.
Because of the smell of the food, I forgot I was mad and quickly placed the paper bags on the mini table in the living room. My sister grabbed one of the bags. Jollibee huh?
Knock! knock!
"Shanize, don’t tell me you ordered more food?" I warned her. She quickly shook her head while her mouth was full of french fries.
If it’s another delivery guy, someone’s going to die.
I stomped to the door, opened it, and was surprised to see a girl instead of a delivery guy.
She was about my height, had blonde hair, and was pretty.
"Ahh, what can I do for you?" I asked.
"Ah, are you Eliz Cortejo?" she asked. She knows me? Obviously, right?
"Y-yes, why?" I asked back.
"Help me please! I’m looking for Ruhan and I don’t know where he lives now!" she said, which surprised me.
Who is she and why is she looking for Ruhan? Is she his girlfriend? But he never mentioned anything...
"I’m not Ruhan’s girlfriend, don’t worry," she suddenly said, making my eyes widen.
Is she a mind reader? The fvck.
"Hahaha, I can’t read minds, Eliz. It’s just really obvious." She said, so I sighed in relief.
Could she be the one Tita Light was talking about? Ruhan’s mom once told me that Tito Dark had a first wife.
"Ah, come in. I’ll just get ready and then I’ll take you to Ruhan’s place." I said and let her inside. I guided her to the living room where the pig—I mean my sister—was busy eating.
"Who is she?" Shanize asked me.
She’s—wait, she hasn’t introduced herself yet, right?
"I’m Danica Pedraza, half-sister of Ruhan and Yohan." She introduced herself, and I was stunned.
I left Danica with Shanize so I could go change. As I headed upstairs to my room, I started to think. Why is Ruhan hiding from this girl?
I didn’t take a shower since I already had one earlier. I just changed into ripped jeans and a crop top.
When I came back down, I overheard a conversation.
"Ahh, so Eliz is the Queen and Ruhan is the King? Aww! So cute!"
"Exactly, Danica! Don’t they look good together?"
"Of course!"
"Ahem." They both turned to look at me and stopped talking.
"Shanize, we’re going to Ruhan’s house, okay? Tell Mom if she asks where I went." I told my sister.
Danica and I left right away. I felt a bit awkward because I just realized she kind of looks like Ruhan.
"Let’s use my car instead, please? I’ll take you back later, okay?" she said, and I just nodded.
I was a bit confused when she got into the passenger seat. Who’s driving—oh right, I am, since I know the way. She handed me the keys and I started to drive.
"So, why is Ruhan hiding from you?" I asked, just curious.
"Ahh, that? Well, Ruhan and I are like cats and dogs. He gets easily annoyed with me, so he doesn’t want me coming back to the Philippines." she answered, and I nodded.
So Ruhan’s easy to irritate, huh?
"Here we are." Danica looked at the house on our left.
We got out of the car and walked up to Tita Light’s gate.
"Tita Light!" Danica called out happily and was surprised by what she saw.
"Danica? OMG, when did you come back?! And—Eliz?" she turned to me.
I waved and smiled. We went inside and she prepared snacks for us.
"Oh my, Ruhan... don’t worry, I’ll take care of it," Tita Light said after Danica told her how Ruhan didn’t tell her where they live now.
It’s funny because it turns out Danica is Ruhan’s weakness. He always gets teased by her.
"So, you two already know each other—my future daughter-in-law?" I almost spit my drink when she said that. What the heckkk?
"Wahh! She’s Ruhan’s girlfriend! Wow!" Danica exclaimed excitedly.
I looked at them and shook my head. I knew I was right to feel uneasy around these two.
"No, I’m not! Tita Light was just joking." I said, but Danica didn’t stop smiling and looked so impressed with me.
"Really, Eliz? I can see it... You love Ruhan." she said, and I got chills.
Now I know why Ruhan is hiding from her.
Ruhan, where are you? Take me with you so I can hide from your sister too.
