The lady who led them said, "If you need more attendants, just let me know, and I will summon the most beautiful ladies for you."
Harrison quickly waved his hand, "No need, just bring us some light refreshments."
"Very well, please wait a moment," the lady smiled as she withdrew, not forgetting to cast another lingering glance at Ethan Caelan, her eyes full of affection. This caused Cassian and Harrison, who sat nearby, to shiver involuntarily. If not for the introduction that this was a theater troupe, they might have thought they had stepped into a den of enchantresses.
Valerius Evander and Elias Dawnfire stood outside, watching as Ethan's group entered, their eyes wide with surprise, unable to utter a word.
Before becoming the number one strategist of the Helios Kingdom, Elias Dawnfire was once the most renowned playboy in the capital, having experienced countless beauties and visited every place of pleasure. Since Valerius was the Crown Prince, Elias had led him to experience all the earthly delights, so neither of them was a stranger to this place.
Valerius pointed in the direction where Ethan had just entered, turning to Elias and asking, as if still not believing what he had seen:
"Did they really enter the Blossom Pavilion?"
Elias nodded in confirmation, his tone both surprised and mocking:
"Prince Ethan Caelan is indeed well-versed, knowing even about the Blossom Pavilion, the most famous brothel in the capital."
Valerius' eyes suddenly turned cold, and he commanded decisively: "Let's go inside and see what they're up to."
Elias smiled slightly, thinking to himself, "What else would a man do in a brothel?" Despite his thoughts, he obediently followed Valerius. As soon as the two of them crossed the threshold, the ladies of the brothel immediately surrounded them, their eyes lighting up at the sight of Valerius' masculine and strong presence, and Elias' elegant, charming demeanor. One of them exclaimed, "Wow, these two gentlemen are so handsome!"
Before they could touch him, Valerius coldly brushed them aside, striding into the room without hesitation. Meanwhile, Elias seemed to be in his element, immersing himself in the arms of the beauties. He playfully teased them, one hand pinching the cheek of the lady on his left, while the other arm wrapped around the waist of the one on his right. Seeing that Valerius had already disappeared from sight, he spoke with a tone of regret:
"The ladies of Blossom Pavilion are like celestial maidens descended to earth. It's a shame I have some business and can't enjoy their company today, but next time, I'll make up for it twice over."
As he spoke, he pulled out a bag of shining silver coins and handed it to the ladies. "This is for you."
The ladies, filled with excitement, clung to Elias, kissing and embracing him without letting go.
"Now be good and leave; I'll be back another time." Elias said with delight.
The ladies obediently withdrew with reluctance, not forgetting to give Elias a few more light kisses on the cheek before leaving, making him smile contentedly.
Valerius chose a discreet seat, right behind Ethan's group, from where he could observe everything without being noticed. The atmosphere in the room had become lively and bustling. The tables below were already filled with guests of all ages. When the door was closed and the curtains were drawn, a group of beautiful dancers emerged, each wearing a number on their chest. They began to perform graceful and seductive dances. Their thin, flowing dresses swayed with every movement of their hips and chests, undulating to the rhythm. The men below could not stop cheering and shouting loudly.
"I'll take number 1!"
"Save number 5 for me!"
The announcer's voice echoed, encouraging the guests to choose a lady for themselves. The rule was that whoever chose first would be served first. The chosen ladies quickly and gracefully left the stage, heading towards the tables to serve wine and food. The guests, like hungry tigers pouncing on their prey, wasted no time in hugging and kissing the beauties in their arms. Their affectionate gestures were as blatant as those of lovers reunited after a long separation. Some of the more eager guests could not wait any longer and hurriedly stood up, leading the beauties away from the table.
Ethan's group remained seated, silently observing. The oppressive atmosphere, filled with desire, left them feeling uneasy. It seemed that they had already begun to suspect that this place was not just an ordinary theater troupe.
A beautiful woman approached Ethan Caelan's group, her eyes gleaming with allure as she asked, "Gentlemen, have any of the ladies caught your eye?"
The three of them exchanged puzzled glances, unsure how to respond. Finally, Cassian Lightwood, the most knowledgeable among them, spoke up, "How much does it cost to choose a lady?"
The woman smiled seductively. "For a silver ingot, you can choose any lady to serve you for the night. If you want more than one, just pay extra. You can have as many as you like."
With a naïve expression, Harrison Ryder questioned, "You said this was a theater troupe, so why are the actresses spending the night with the audience like in a brothel?"
The woman giggled, her eyes twinkling with amusement. "If you want to watch the play, feel free to enjoy it. I won’t bother you any longer."
She turned away, still chuckling to herself, leaving Ethan Caelan and his companions bewildered.
The next act began as the curtain slowly rose, revealing a stunning woman standing amidst the soft glow of the stage lights. She was like a radiant flower blooming in the night, her every gesture filled with a captivating charm that drew every eye in the room to her.
