"Why? Why are you lying? Why are you trying to cover up your crimes? I...I saw you...I saw you with my two eyes. It was you Kareem!" Safeenah uttered with shivering voice
"Did you see my face?.. Answer me finah, Did you?" Kareem asked waiting patiently for her response
"No I didn't " she replied back shaking her head
"So how sure were you that I was the one who killed your sister?"
"Your car. I saw the plate number and when we track it, we find out that it was your car"
"You're mistaken. I wasn't driving but Mansur was"
"Mansur took the car to do something urgent that very day. Though I never wanted to give him the car coz even though I was the owner, I never drive. I have a driver who drove me from school to home. We scope my driver that day and that was how he was able to take the car out. When we learnt that he hit your sister,I got furious and scared at the same time. My parent find out and got angry so much,I told him or in fact I begged him to confess the truth, I told him to tell my parent that he was the one who hit your sister but he was so adamant then,he refuse to take the blame instead he lied. He told everyone that I was the one and not him. I was so angry,no one is my witness but only Khalid, and that was how we end our friendship Safeenah
Later on, we heard that the victims sister came to file a case. Dad find out the truth that it wasn't me who was driving the car so he explained everything to the officers and showed them evidence. He also urge them to show you this in case you come around and so I will be free from the wrong allegations. In fact, he gave the officers 10 million to compensate you and with that we believe that everything is closed
But..but I was so surprise now when you said the officers told you something else. I swear I'm telling you the truth Safeenah,this was how everything happened"
"But he...he told me that you did it"
"Mansur right?"
"Yes...."
"Well he was jealous of me,I've always known that. May be he likes you I guess and he wanted you to hate me when he learnt that you love me. Even though you never did, your main aim was to avenge your sister's death on me"
"So it was Mansur that killed my sister?"
"Safeenah don't be mistaken, I swear he never meant it,it was a mistake. You need to see him when the incident happened, he wasn't him self. Though he was proving stubborn to disclose the real truth but he was also scared,believe me"
"Why Kareem? Why? Why are you covering his crime up?"
"I'm not doing this because I wanted to cover him up but because I know him well, he didn't do that intentionally Safeenah,believe me"
"Kareem" Safeenah called out his name as she went down on her knees all of a sudden. Both Kareem and Maryam wide out their eyes in shock
"What are you doing Safeenah?" Kareem asked
"I'm sorry Kareem, please find it in your heart to forgive me,I swear I thought you were the one who killed my sister but I was mistaken, I never knew that the man I've love for the past fourteen years was the cause of my sister's death"
"Please forgive me Kareem.. No, in fact don't forgive me,punish me,beat me, do whatever you wish to do with me. I've wronged you,hated you,despise you for so many years. Aiming for your downfall when in fact you're a great person with great a heart...please Kareem what can I do for you to forgive me?"
"Safeenah please stand up" Kareem moved closer to her and pulled her up "you don't need all of this,I understand you believe me,even if I were to be in your shoes I might do worse than this" he finished saying as Safeenah hug him tightly. On the other hand, Maryam was there crying her heart out while Mr shu'aib and Hafsa was feeling irritated by the scene going on in front of them
"Boss" Hafsa whispered to him
"Yes?..." He answered back more like a question
"Don't you think they are trying to brainwash Safeenah? And without her, we can't complete our mission. How are we going to get the company if they are like this? Our plan is to make Kareem sign all the papers so the companies will become ours"
"Don't you worry my dear,I know what to do"
"Hey! Hey Safeenah you can't let them brainwash you just like that, come here and make them sign this papers" he said showing the papers to Kareem. Kareem glared at Hafsa angrily,he knew that no one could ever get the papers if not her
"What? No! Please let them go,they are innocent. Let cancel the plan" Safeenah beg moving a little closer to him
"Well you're right Hafsa, I think she's really brainwashed already. Welcome to the club Safeenah" Shu'aib smirk as he nudge safeenah back to Kareem's. Kareem held her firmly in a protective way. Even though Safeenah was part of the plan, he wouldn't get angry at her and will make sure he save both his wife and her. She misunderstood everything and now that she has realise her mistake, He will make sure nothing happens to her
"So Mr Kareem Abdulazeez,I think it's best if you sign this papers, if not both your wife and Safeenah will die" he said pointing a gun at Maryam while the other giant guy point his at Safeenah,Hafsa at the other hand stood there smirking at the scene going on
Unknowingly to them Kareem's Dad,Maryam's Dad,Faruq,Mansur,Khalid and the officers are at the interior of the place. All the men's working for Shu'aib are already held captive by the police officer's, now they had to move fast before Shu'aib do something terrible to rest inside. Slowly they walk into the building with their guns on their hands scanning everywhere. It was a ten building story which will take them a while before they reach where Kareem and his wife were
"Kareem sign this papers, I don't have much time" he said shoving the papers to him
"No Kareem!" Maryam yelled
"Sign it or your wife will be dead" he threatened. He also pass the pen to him as Kareem collected it from him
"Kareem don't do this! Kareem no! Kareem please stop it!" Safeenah shout while crying
"Shu'aib move closer to her and slapped her so hard on her cheek making all her face to turn red in a seconds. Obviously because she's a fair lady just like Maryam 
"You monster! Let us go" Safeenah said again stubbornly
He didn't think twice before landing his palm on her cheek again,a water of tear come out from Safeenah's eyes as she cough blood
"Please stop" Maryam begged. She can't see Safeenah in pain. The one she has gone through when she was a kid is enough. She thought
Shu'aib smirk as he move closer to Maryam "I've always known that you'll be an obedient child lover girl. You aren't like this two,so stubborn. Well, why don't you tell your lover boy here to sign the papers if not, I'll kill you right away" he said placing the gun on Maryam's head
"No!!" Kareem exclaimed in fear 
"Please no, I will...I will sign it" he beg
"Kareem please don't do it,you can't sacrifice your future for me" 
"Maryam you're my future,you're my everything. I won't let anything happen to you" he told her finished saying as he turn to Shu'aib "Please, I will sign it, just leave my wife out of this"
"Good boy" he withdrew his gun and went back to Kareem. Slowly Kareem started signing the papers page by page
"Make it snappy boy,I don't have time for this" 
Only for Kareem to sign the last two pages when all of a sudden, Safeenah attacked Shu'aib. He fell down and Kareem also hit the giant guy who also fell down groaning in pain. Maryam was standing shivering out of fear while Safeenah and Kareem was trying to knock the two men down. Hafsa has run for her life when she saw what the situation is turning into
"C'mon girls let go" Kareem said to Safeenah. She nod her head and swiftly move closer to Maryam "hey calm down! Everything is going to be fine" she assured her
"Sa...Safeenah I'm scared" Maryam cried out in fear
"Don't be,we need to leave this place right now" she held Maryam's hand in hers,and with Kareem behind them, they all went out of the room
"Where do you think you're all going to?" Shu'aib voice stopped them as they all turn to him. He pointed his gun directly at Kareem
"Why are you doing this to your self? Why? First, you took decision that could destroy the company without confining in me, I spared you. Secondly, you stole my money, and I still spared you coz if I was to take a real action I would have jailed you and now you're committing the most dangerous crime. Do you know you could be jail by doing this?" 
"Good job boy for the great speech,but I'm not in for that as at now,you still have to sign this papers in my hands if not, I won't hesitate to kill you all" he threatened again. Unknowingly to him, Kareem's friends and few officers are already at shu'aib's back. Maryam got scared more while Safeenah and Kareem only smirk
"Come closer and sign this papers you moron" he said yelling
"Well, what if I said I won't? " Kareem challenged back as he start taking a step closer to him
"Be ready to say good bye to your wife then" he said as he trigger the gun and aim it at Maryam. Before anything could be done two gun shot was heard,one from Shu'aib and the other one from the officers 
"MARYAM!!!! " Kareem screamed.
