I am rivaled by no one, I have been trained to take my father's place so I have recieve far more harsh training then anyone at the school... so tell me why I seem to be lacking behind that small black man, I am at the peak of human ability and that runt always seems to be able to keep up with me, as if we were equals.
I do not hate Kai nor dislike him, he is just frustrating "Nǐ zuòle shénme!" A man says crying and crawling away covered in blood, "Shut up while I'm doing my monologue you primitive being" I say as I approach the man with a Chinese sword in my hand.
"Zài nǎlǐ kěyǐ zhǎodào Sun Tzu" i say to the man asking him where Sun Tzu is, he stares at me and I can see the fear in his eyes, the tears washing the blood down his face "if you're that scared then you should talk fast, let's not forget this dance where you lose limbs unnecessarily trying to be quiet but then I find out eventually" I say to him in Mandarin, he just stares at me shaking and frozen with fear as if deciding which fate was worse.
"Sigh, I'll give you some advice, always choose life, dying isn't some honorable gesture, it's just a scam the higher ups have you believe to keep you slaving away for your country, but how many of them preaching this are actually willing to die for their country? They hide in their castles or fortresses making other people die so they can live, does that sound fair to you? Even if they are royalty they are human just like you, they bleeding just like you, and you deserve to live just as much as them, so don't die here by the hands of some assassin, chose life" I say to him with a blade pointed at his eye, getting ready to Jam it in.
"Wait!" He yells. I drop the blade.
"So you're ready to talk?" I say to the man.
"Ye..ye.. yes" he says trembling
"Good, I'll patch you up, so take me to him" I reply.
I carry him on my back as we journey to the home of sun tzu. A few hours past and I'm getting tired, it's been a long few days. I see a forest up ahead and decide to carry the man in there to rest "Careful" he warns me "that forest is filled with dangerous creatures" he continued. I scoff at him finding a warning like that a bit humorous "Is there any creature in there as dangerous as me?" I ask him. He just looks at me unable to answer, by the looks of it he isn't sure, almost makes me feel a bit full of myself .
"don't worry I won't let any harm come your way, you are still useful to me" I say to the man "What's your name by the way" I ask him
"Xiao... my name is Xiao" he replies
"Nice to meet you Xiao" I say to him As we approach the forest.
A few ours pass and I'm done setting up camp, I'm suprised I haven't been attacked by any of the dangerous creatures in here, could they be scared of me? Or is it something else? Sigh.
I'm quite hungry and would like to go hunting but I can't leave Xiao here alone, something might eat him, wait a minute... I'm so dumb, I completely forgot we packed food for the journey, and I still have some left in my pouch.
I share my food with Xiao as we rest up for the night, but I am disturbed by the sound of sticks breaking as if they were being stepped on, I can smell blood coming from the direction of the sound, my ear picks up on the sound of something sharp cutting through the wind, knowing what it most likely is, I grab Xiao and duck, the arrow hits a tree near us.
"I guess we have you to thank, considering we haven't seen any of the Dangers creatures Xiao mentioned" the man steps out of the shadows with an arrow pointed at me drawed back and ready to fire not saying a word.
"If you fire that arrow you will regret it I promise you" I say to the man
"If he's been killing the creatures in this forest doesn't that make him As dangerous as you?" Xiao says sounding worried. I look at Xiao and offer a cocky grin "Let's find out" I say to him.
The man releases the arrow and I throw a kunai at it stopping it in its tracks I rush towards him with a punch, he tries to block with his bow but I break it with my punch and hit him in the chest, he steps back a bit but immediately regains his balance and throws chain punches at me, I block almost every one of them except the last, I step back as well but immediately regain my balance, looks like he's just as strong as me, and he uses the wing chun style.....interesting, I get into a kickboxing stance, he rushes at me and I jump at him with a knee attack, he steps to the side to avoid it but I extend the rest of my leg switching to a kick, he doesn't have time to dodge so he blocks with both hands but the force is still enough to knock him into a tree that was already close to him, I rush at him with a barrage of punches he is trying his best to block but I'm relentless in my attacks, he eventually pushes me off "I'm impressed warrior of the past" I say to him, he glares at me with anger fueled eyes and pulls out his blade before rushing at me, but I'm ready to counter do I step forward and grab his wrist and twist making him drop the blade, I quickly grab it and cut his throat open with it "I told you, you would regret firing that arrow" I say to him As he falls to the ground.
"You're quite the monster you know that? Xiao says to me. I offer him a smirk as I walk back to the fire.
Dawn is breaking and it's time for us to make our way to Sun Tzu, and the journey is quite tiresome while carrying Xiao on my back but this kinda thing are what twisted blades are built for.
We finally arrive at Sun Tzu's home
"Halt!" Some of the guards yell
"Beautiful place you got here" I say to them
"He's with me!" Xiao yells from my back.
The guards rush to help him "Master Xiao, and you alright? Where are the men who were with you?" They ask.
"Master Xiao huh?, guess you're pretty important" I say to Xiao.
The guards point their blade to my neck "And who are you?"
"Me? I'm the man who killed the soldiers she was with" I say without hesitation.
They look at me with disbelief and anger and one says "Jokes like that will get you killed boy"
I stare at him with a cold look and reply "if you think it's a joke then just try and kill me then".
Tension fills the air as we stare eachother down. "Stop!" Xiao is quick to intervene "We attacked first, it was self defense, besides if you attack him now we'll all die" he says.
"But sir-" the guard tries to speak, "Silence!" Xiao yells "take him to Sun Tzu.
All the guards stare at me with contempt as they reluctantly take me to Sun Tzu.
I walk into his Chambers and see him sitting down and writing with a painful brush. He stops and looks at me "Who is this Xiao?" He asks.
"He is a warrior... no more like a monster, I saw him tear through our men like they were nothing, he almost even killed me" he replies, I see Sun Tzu's face change as he stands up and picks up his sword "You dare put your hands on my son?!" He yells at me.
"Don't you mean daughter?" I say to him, they both stare at me in shock.
"No point hiding it, Xiao is your daughter that nobody knows about, a secret love child I assume, your guards may be too dense to figure it out but I'm not" I add. I wasn't sure before but I am now, Xiao is the myth known as Hua Mulan.
