Chase's POV
"What, you don't have the balls to confirm your own emotion?" a weird laugh came out of Mono's mouth, his hands resting on his waist while Gold sat on the couch, his elbows resting on his knees with his hands pressed together. I gulped out of nervousness. This isn't good. In fact, this is fucking horrible.
Mono, of all people, of all us, rarely loses his cool. And this was one of the rare occasions that he does. And if he did, it means it was about something serious. He doesn’t really lose his cool that easy.
Gold, on the other hand, had been out of it since the London tour. The fact that he was injured moreover a little sensitive isn't much of a help either.
If it's any consolation, I knew Gold wouldn't try anything stupid. Not with Mono. He respects us like that and Mono is basically one of the reasons why he decided to stay with the company before.
Plus, it's only me and Eros around.
I saw how Eros was fiddling with his phone, probably trying to get our other members to come home. At this point, Eros and I will not be able to do anything if ever things get physical between the two. I doubt that will happen though but we can never be sure. The way I see it, both are really mad right now.
Raze went home to his family and Zero did the same. But they were on their way home even before these started. Demo, on the other hand, was in the studio, trying to learn new choreography.
I'm not even sure what's wrong. Gold barely got home and Mono suddenly went out of his room fuming mad.
Gold doesn't even seem to be listening to Mono as well. If this continues, the two might really end up fighting.
This is so fucking bad.
"Yah, Gold!" his voice raised a little and I stood from the couch to move closer. I'm not liking what's happening. Sure, Gold wouldn't do anything stupid but he looked like he was frustrated too.
I saw Gold sigh while massaging his temple.
"Mono, can you drop this for now please?" he sounded so tired. I had a quick glance over his face and realized that he looked kinda different. Within a span of one month, his cheeks humped back a little and the bags under his eyes are quite noticeable.
Is something wrong? Does it have anything to do with his injury?
"Drop this? Wow! " Mono looked even angrier yet amused.
"Mono..." I called for his attention and even Eros stood up too.
I moved towards him. Eros doesn't like it when our members fight. He easily gets sensitive and cries.
"You cheated on Synn? You're that low now?"
What?
But then I heard someone gasped. Gold snapped.
"Why are you fucking mad? Did I cheat on you?!" he stood up, his voice rising too.
"Hey, Gold!" I went in between them in panic. I know I can’t stop them if anything, but at least I can try to put it off until another member comes.
"Mono!" Eros was on his phone trying to call someone.
"Mono, let's not be rash..." I tried to reason out hoping that they will listen but they were glaring at each other.
"What? You didn't think I regret this? This whole month I've been hating myself for being so stupid! I didn't want this okay? I didn't mean what happened!" Gold was shaking and I moved closer to him to calm him down.
"You should have thought that before cheating on her. What did you do, two-timed her?"
"I didn't! How dare you?!" Gold was trying to get away from my grasp while Eros was hugging Mono now.
"She was there for you when Steffy made you seem like you're a trash!"
"You don't know everything and you don't even know how broken I am right now!" My knees started shaking at how strong Gold is.
His voice was shaking and it breaks my heart to see him like this. He's crying and somehow, Mono was startled.
"I know I messed up. Sorry if this is getting in the way with you and Snow..."
"Gold..." Eros started crying. "What's this? Why are you fighting?"
"Hey, what's happening?" we all turned towards the door when Raze came rushing, the beads of sweat visible in his face, a sign that he probably ran back her in panic.
"Are you two fighting?" Zero came rushing in too. Like Raze, he seemed to have come here in a rush. Demo probably didn't notice Eros' message.
A relief sigh escaped my lips. At least we have the older ones here now. At least these two will never try something if we have them. Raze may not be strict with us even though he is older but we all respect him a lot especially Mono. He’s not the type to go against with both Raze and Zero. Zero is even scarier.
"Mono!"
Mono seemed to calm down a little at the sound of Raze's commanding voice. He is the oldest after all.
Raze rarely gets strict towards us but once he did, you got to listen. We know our boundaries. We know our limits. And disrespecting or not listening to the older ones at a time like this is not something we do. We’ve come to an agreement; some rules we make sure we all follow in times like this. The thought calmed me down a little.
Gold moved backward and turned around wiping the tears in his eyes.
"What happened for you two to fight like this? Gold, you don't answer back to your older members. What's wrong?" Zero was standing in between us know.
The way I see it, Gold and Synn had a fight and it's getting in the way of Mono being with Snow. We all know something's brewing with the two. What I don't understand is why Mono was accusing Gold of cheating. That's impossible.
"Is that how we are now? You're going to fight like you two aren't brothers? We used to talk things through before. Mono, you're older," Raze condemned and we were all silent.
Gold was still back-facing us crying. His injury hasn't even healed yet.
"Mono said Gold cheated on Synn," Eros sniffed as he wipes his tears.
"What?" Raze exclaimed. Gold turned towards us and sat on the couch.
"It wasn't my intention," he started. It's clear that he's been keeping all of this to himself. So that's why he looked like a dead person these past few days.
We all sat on the couch and even Mono has calmed down.
"I was confused okay. You guys talked about my ex like she's still relevant to my life when I already started being with Synn. And then it got me so fucked up that the moment Steffy messaged me I found myself responding. But I swear it wasn't an occasional thing. She was sick and I felt bad and that was it. My focus was on Synn. I barely even responded to Steffy. But I fucking blew it. I should have told her. I know now. I know how I feel. I know who I wanted ages ago. Damn!" and he was covering his face. He looked so helpless.
My eyes got teary and even Eros started sniffing. Eros and Goldare like the babies of the group. They were close as most often, Gold acts more like the big brother than Eros. Eros is just so soft you don't wanna break him.
"I messed up. Now she won't see me. She blocked me and I don't know what to do!"
We were all silent. We didn't know Gold's having a hard time.
"They were mad at you. I'm sorry for snapping. It's just, Synn had always been good to you," Mono whispered and he looked so sorry while looking like that.
"I know. She was always there and I just had to be a jerk," he answered and we don't know what to say.
"When did these happen?" Raze asked and I stare at Gold.
"London..."
"Lond-O2!? That long? Is that why you were out of focus?" Zero exclaimed and all Gold did was cry.
Gold never cries, barely.
"She won't give me a chance. No matter how I try. And now seeing all the girls are mad at me too, I won't ever have a chance," he whispered.
My eyes caught Mono's and his gaze landed on the floor. I knew he got too emotional earlier and he didn't mean to snap on him.
Raze leaned his back on the couch and gave a long sigh.
Zero rubbed his face with his hands. "Can't you like, just forget about her? She's not like your first love nor is she your first girlfriend kook," he asked and I grimaced. He sounded harsh but fair point.
Gold was silent for a minute.
"I love her..."
"Well, that's bullshit. You should have thought about how much you love her before you decided to respond back to Steffy. Are you even sure you don't feel anything for your ex now?" Zero asked.
"I don't. If I do I won't fucking feel like I was dying right now,"
I closed my eyes at his words. Synn, the moment I saw her inside our dorm, I knew she'd play an important role in Gold's life. I just didn't know it's her who'll leave such a mark. What else should we do then? Gold is our baby. And our youngest should always be happy.
"Then let's go get your girl back," I told him. He lifted his gaze and his brows furrowed. "C'mon. We've overcome a lot - highest award, BBMA, AMA's, United Nations. Not to brag but like what they say, we started from the bottom. What is starting from square one for your girl? You have six brothers to help you," I smiled at him and he bit his lower lip.
"It won't be easy. You know Snow. She'll fuck you guys up if you even try,"
Zero laughed. "I'd like to see her try then,"
I shake my head in amusement.
Just then, we heard the sound of the door opening and Demo came in.
He was panting and was sweating so badly.
"What did I miss?" He asked in worry and Raze stood up.
"We're having a party and you're ass isn't invited," he joked and we all laughed at Demo shocked face.
I turned towards Gold and massaged his back.
"Don't worry. We're going to try to work things out," I smiled and he nodded.
And knowing how Arika is, I guess this means war, huh?
