Zeliker hopes nothing happened but…
"Silvert!" Zeliker yelled out in horror.
Silvert, who had his eyes closed, slowly opened slightly with pain. His lips have trickling blood coming out of them and looked very pale.
"Ze… Li… Ker…?" Silvert called with a hoarse painful voice.
After seeing Zeliker's eyes brighten like usual, he couldn't help but burst out. Tears flood his eyes and drip down his face, making Zeliker bewildered by him.
"Zeliker…"
He was glad. Extremely glad to see the normal Zeliker again. Unable to hold out any longer, he finally fainted.
"Silvert!"
Zeliker called again yet the latter didn't open his eyes.
Silvert's body had so many wounds, small and deep cuts everywhere, and also was bleeding nonstop. No part of his body was decent anymore.
After absorbing the bitter memories, Zeliker awakened to reality and controlled his body again.
He was startled seeing the mess before he realised he was choking someone with a body hanging in the air.
After realising the person was Silvert, Zeliker immediately releases his hold and catches the body gently.
His eyes widened after seeing so many puddles of blood around him.
Did he do this?
He already knows the answer since he's the only one there, looking alright. He grits his teeth and blames himself for hurting not only Silvert but also everyone in the vicinity.
Itsven, Luuya, Flare and his group of friends were all found lying on the ground, bleeding at some part of their bodies.
Zeliker couldn't believe that in a few minutes he was gone, he had created such atrociousness.
Yes, a few minutes.
His memory about this incident occurred after he saw the mess.
Silvert tried to stop him from killing Itsven and got himself hurt in his wind blades. While Flare and his friends were found annoying by being frozen in their place.
He attacked them all without mercy in his madness. The only thing Zeliker found himself a little bit of relief was that they were all still alive.
If they died, he would be so guilty and may be unable to forgive himself again.
Zeliker didn't want to waste any more time. He summons the key to the mansion and throws it on the ground.
The door appeared and he took Silvert first to the infirmary room before he carried the others into it too. He was glad that other than them, there were no others in the vicinity who saw his craziness.
It would be a bummer if the news about him was spread everywhere since it might create some difficulty for his mission if that happens.
"Your Highness, what happened?!"
Damn. He forgot there were Trez, Enta, Kion and the others in the mansion.
"Great. Come help me treat them."
Might as well use their presence now to help him.
Trez and the others immediately follow his order. The girls help Liyuna and Shiruna in another room adjacent to the main infirmary room while the boys treat Itsven, Luuya, Flare, Reuris, Hetero and Aiga.
"This person! Isn't he the prince of the Weety Kingdom, Itsven Brigia?!"
One of Enta's friends yells in horror and steps back away from Itsven after recognizing the latter. The others near Itsven were startled and looked shocked at the wounded prince too.
'Tsk, they found out.' Zeliker grumbled silently.
"Yup, he's the one Silvert and I were fighting. Thanks to Silvert, I was alright. We found he was attacking the border city in Lagendia and stopped him."
He explained smoothly and silently making Itsven take the blame for injuring the others.
Trez and Enta found something was wrong with the sentences and the scene but they couldn't pinpoint where it was wrong.
'I must talk to these accidental people caught in my mess and make them shut up about me. Hopefully, they won't be that terrified of seeing me again after they wake up.'
Zeliker stare at Flare, Reuris, Hetero and Aiga. He wonders why they were so brave enough to appear near a royal demon battle.
Shouldn't they run away after they saw him and Itsven? And report their presence first to the soldiers in Marlom City.
He couldn't understand the reason for their stupidity. Though he was responsible for injuring them, he shouldn't feel responsible for their lives since they didn't escape after seeing him and Itsven.
Zeliker hasn't discovered Flare's identity yet since the aura presence when Flare was wearing his armour was different from him without armour.
But, he was amazed to see someone with the combination of pretty and handsome on Flare. If he didn't see the flat and sturdy chest, he would mistakenly identify Flare as a woman.
'What a long eyelash. Oh, his cheeks are also so smooth like a woman's. Great. This one is so much like a boy toy… Does he have a sugar daddy too?'
Zeliker wondered quietly and was annoyed for an unknown reason.
If Flare knew what Zeliker was thinking, he would flip a table on him and beat Zeliker even if he knew he couldn't win.
"I heard Lagendia and Entenoa Kingdom were at war again." Trez's voice attracts the others.
"Correct. But does Lagendia know Entenoa had help from the Weety Kingdom? It seems they might have since there were soldiers stationed in Shasui and Marlom City. Though, the number wasn't that many." Zeliker concluded.
"Is the city still standing, Your Highness? We could go and help." Kion told Zeliker.
Kion and others have nothing to do other than training. So, they might as well do something.
Zeliker pondered for a while before he nodded.
"Hide your demon aura. I don't want those humans to think you guys are a spy. Have you been to Marlom City?"
"We have, Your Highness. Then, we will be on our way." Kion had finished treating and bandaging Silvert.
All of his friends also were done with their respective patients. Actually, they didn't want to be near Itsven. The latter was giving them so much pressure even though he was unconscious.
Who knows what this prince would do to them who were very weak in rank? Better stay away.
Zeliker nodded again. "I'll meet you there soon."
"Excuse us now, Your Highness."
Kion bowed to Zeliker before he, Enta and the others went out. Only Trez was left behind.
"You seem to have some questions to ask. What is it?" Zeliker turned his eyes to Trez.
Trez sigh. He couldn't get used to Zeliker's informal speech.
"Are you injured, Your Highness?"
"No."
"Then, how can you escape Itsven's attacks without getting heavy injuries like Lord Silvert?"
"That's because… I'm awesome," Zeliker answered with an innocent look.
Trez gives him a dead stare.
"Really…?"
Obviously, something was wrong. He noticed Itsven had lots of broken bones. He also got very heavy injuries like Silvert.
Since Silvert was only one lower level than a royal ranking demon, it was apparent he couldn't win against a royal demon.
But, why is he unable to imagine that Zeliker could defeat Itsven without getting any injuries? Did he do some trick?
It looked strange to him no matter what since Itsven were stronger and sturdier than most royal demons.
'Don't tell me that Zeliker was far stronger?!'
Zeliker grimaced after seeing an astonished look on Trez's expression. No, the eyes show horror and fear at him. Then, it becomes awe and admiration.
"I'll follow you to the death!" Trez suddenly announced.
Huh?
"Oo… Kay…" Zeliker slowly replied with a confused look.
Trez's eyes brighten in happiness. It seems he accidentally follows a strong prince.
He can't allow himself to look weak. If so, Zeliker might throw him away.
"Excuse me now, Your Highness. I'm going to train again!"
Trez slipped away after he said them, leaving a question mark on Zeliker.
Zeliker also didn't know he had added another tail behind him, following him everywhere since then.
Though it wasn't like Gizelis and Silvert, Trez would still be like another annoying demon who would stay close to him like them.
If Zeliker had known, he would have sent Trez back to Elamos.
"Urgh…" A small groan was heard in the room.
Zeliker turned his sight to Flare. The sound comes from him. Slowly, the long eyelashes flutter before a pair of red eyes open up.
Flare feels his sight was still fuzzy and blurry. He blinks them away before seeing the white ceiling above.
Where is he…?
He felt the soft mattress behind him before he sensed a gaze on him. When he turned to see…
"Zeliker…"
The call surprised the latter.
'How did he know my name? Who is he?'
Zeliker narrowed his eyes. "How do you know me?"
Flare blinks his eyes again before he snaps out of his daze.
Zeliker watched the red eyes widen with astonishment before turning into a slight panic. Then, it became calm again like nothing happened. The eyes also look around once before returning to Zeliker.
"You're not going to go crazy again, are you?" Flare carefully asked him.
He had seen that all of his friends were there but didn't feel their life was in danger anymore. He thought Zeliker had treated them after getting out from his violent action.
Though he can't remember after he was knocked out harshly by Zeliker who had hit his back. It was humiliating to be ambushed and lose consciousness like that.
He still feels pain in his backbones. He wondered if Zeliker had broken any. This might become a problem if there was a fracture. So, he laid down without getting up.
ZeIiker, who saw his fearless attitude when the latter was weak and defenceless, was surprised and confused.
'This human is so daring to implore a question on me, the demon prince. He didn't even answer my question! Doesn't he know it was rude to not answer someone's question?'
Both had a staring competition afterwards. None wants to answer the other.
