King Derrick's eyes flutter open and he synchronized the room with his eyeballs confusingly, this wasn't his room!.
His eyes continued dancing around the room until his eyeballs stopped immediately it caught sight of a goddess dressed in a white long gown sleeping on a chair beside him.
It seems like she was watching him when he was asleep until she too fell asleep....
Standing up from the bed, he walked towards her and when he was close enough, he stared at her for a moment and caressed her cheeks, down to her nose then slowly he went to her pink lips, it was quite swollen all thanks to the ferocious kiss they shared in the dark hallway.
Rubbing her lower lip slowly which was the most affected, he watched her as she opened her mouth a little.
Before pulling his hand, he turned around and walked back to his room, on his way to the room, he noticed that Manda was waiting for him in this same hallway.
"my king, the queen mother calls for you!"Manda said and king Derrick nodded and was about to walk towards the queen mother's room when Manda came in front of him blocking his way....
she bit her lower lip as she wrapped her arms around king Derrick's neck making sure that her movement was slow and sensual.
She was actually trying to imitate what ayria did some few hours ago, she managed to s3duce king Derrick making him kiss her.
And she was going to do exactly like her sister.
King Derrick clenched his fist behind his back as he tried not to get angry and connect his fist towards her face.
He wasn't a woman beater, in fact, he hated men who hit woman and he never or didn't plan to be one.
"Get your dirty.paws.off.me"King Derrick muttered picking each of his words as he arched an eyebrow staring at her darkly, his aura emerging in full wave.
Upon seeing this, Manda began to tremble slightly as she retracted her hands from him before walking backwards in fear.
"My king.....am so sorry, I....."Manda managed to apologize despite the fear she felt at that moment, it was unmoving, though she was scared of king Derrick, she didn't want him to hate her because of this!
She needed to become the empress no matter what, everyday, everynight, every hour, minute and second, she would always dream about king Derrick..... staring at her passionately and lovingly while standing next to her in front of the people, confessing his profound love for her.
She would always dream about her being crowned as the empress next to this wickedly handsome war God next to her.
She always awaited that day and one day, she was very sure that it would come, the day that she would throw ayria into the cell and order for her eyes to be burned and chopped off as a lesson to everyone who dared to defile her orders.
Snapping back to reality, she opened her mouth to say something only to find out that she was the only one standing in the middle of the hallway, smiling like a fool.
She felt embarrassed despite the fact that no one saw what ensued between her and king Derrick a few seconds ago.
"Time to meet that old woman and pretend to care about her as usual to gain her favour"Manda thought Inwardly and walked towards the queen mother's room.
Just wait till she was crowned the empress, she would just throw that old woman away!!.
When she was close enough to the door, her eyeballs widened upon hearing a soft round of laughter emerging from the queen mother's room, at that moment Manda didn't need any seer to tell her that the laughter was the queen mother's.
But she couldn't remember the last time the queen mother laughed, Despite everything Manda did to make her laugh even once, all she did was smile and the fact that someone else and not her was making her laugh so naturally infuriated her.
Manda knew one thing for sure, it wasn't king Derrick that was the reason to the queen mother's laughter.
Wait!, Was it ayria!!??
As she pondered on these, she heard a soft melodious voice speaking inside the room, Manda's eyes widened, it was indeed ayria!.
She gritted her teeth and clenched her fist, burning inwardly in anger.
When did her sister ayria move one step ahead of her?, No, she can't live to see the day that ayria would be crowned empress, as long as Manda was alive, she wasn't going to let that happen no matter what, she didn't care whether she needed to shed blood!!
~MEANWHILE INSIDE THE QUEEN MOTHER'S ROOM~
Pinky held a cup of tea in her hands while the queen mother held one, the queen mother was telling her a funny story of an incident that happened when king Derrick was a small child.
The both of them couldn't help but chuckle in each word that the queen mother said.
Who could have thought that king Derrick, the stubborn and naughty kid many years back was actually going to be a cold hearted, ruthless and insanely handsome devil???
The queen mother went on and on...
"I cooked garnished pasta for king Derrick, at that time Damien hasn't been born, this little guy refused to eat but after coming back to the kitchen, I saw him inside the pot where I cooked the garnished pasta and the pot was empty, he had eaten all!!!"
"So sometimes, he might act like he doesn't want something but truly he needs it more than anything, Derrick is very good at hiding his true emotions but if he can't hide it in front of a person, means he loves the person so much" The queen mother muttered and chuckled.
Pinky didn't reply, she just smiled at the queen mother who continued telling her more stories about king Derrick funny childhood, pinky was sure that if king Derrick was here .....he wouldn't like this at all.
