Athena's parents planned to take with her to America after they found out about the endless tension of the two siblings. Terylene reported me that Athena struggled her twin again many times. So, Tito and Tita get the passport as early as they can.
Three weeks later, I got the courage to face Athena again in order to persuade her to come with me. Therefore, here I am currently stepping towards their hotel. I was informed her secretary already about this.
I knocked there first before Athena opened the door for me. She looks surprised as she saw me here.
"Greige?" Then, she hugged me in quick respond. I didn't intend to refuse anymore.
"Hurry up ..." I stated that confused her.
"Why?" asked Athena.
"You need to pack your things now. We'll gonna be late for our flight in U.S."
Her eyes become widened that seems she is glad of what I've said.
"Is it true that we're going to America?" She asked me again that she couldn't believe in me.
"Yes, so hurry up and prepare yourself. I will wait for you." Persuading her more that sense I am really concerned.
"All right." Athena is hurriedly going back to her room.
I turned my gaze to Terylene while busy with her laptop. "Kindly help her packing things up."
"Yes, Sir Greige." While nodding her head on me.
I waited for them in thirty minutes until I saw Athena was carrying her suitcase. I helped her to bring those on my arms.
"Let's go." I said.
It took us more than twenty-minutes of travelling to the airport. Afterwards, we entered there and strolling to look for Tito and Tita.
"I am really excited that we will be joined together in America and we will also enjoy our vacation there." Athena smiled at me and I did the same.
In a few moments, they arrived as well. Athena surprised as she saw her parent.
"Mom and Dad?" She leaned on me for a second. "Why didn't you tell me that they were also going to States with us? You're so romantic and sweet. It amazed me a lot." Her response as approaching to Tito and Tita.
"We meant not to let you know about this." Mr. Muestra uttered. He stared to me for a moment but immediately it turned to her daughter.
"Well, my excitement become much more high because you will also join with us." It showed that Athena was very happy to see her parent go together with us but it was not.
Later, it announced that the next flight would be the Washington D.C where Tito and Tita will stay with Athena.
"Now, let's go." As he touched my arms but it stopped her that I didn't move forward. "Why?"
"I'm sorry, Athena but I couldn't join in your flight to America." Her nice appearance quickly faded.
She looked  to her parent in antonishment.
"Don't worry, mi cielo. I will go there too after finalizing my work here. I promised." She beamed in a bit not like before.
"Ok, you promised and I trust you." She said. Athena leaned on her sides, "We shall now go. I will wait for you there." She held my face before joined with her parent.
Tita and Tito are taking her arms as they leaving me here with Terylene.
"Yeah, I'll go there to see you." I lied while waving my hands to them.
"I got your promise." She really believes that I am telling the truth.
"Sure. I promise." Ingenuinely I smiled.
I heavily sighed as they left. I thought that it couln't not be succesful. Fortunately, I did well. I convinced Athena.
Now, I am free and single and it does not mean I will enter into a relationship again. Maybe, I am already moving on to her since I have no chances with Cassidy. I probably try other woman that can seriously love me and same as myself too. A nice thing to do not just focusing my attention to her. Never.
When I arrived at the hotel, I saw Harold and he tapped me on my shoulder.
"I heard that Althaea would be returning back to Bicol. Won't you follow her?" He asked that makes me smile for a second but it suddenly changed my mind when I remembered what she had told me before.
"No. She is in a relationship with another guy." He frowned. "Why would I?"
"Really? Sorry, I didn't know that she has a boyfriend." He chuckled.
"But you love her, right? You're not willing to fight for Althaea?"
"I don't want to ruin her relationship, brad. She looks very happy now with another guy and I have no intention to destroy it. I just confessed my feelings to her before to show that I'm sincere in how I feel for her. That's all." I uttered in a serious manner.
He facepalmed, "Geez, all I knew there's hope between of you two. You're weak." He whispered the last thing he said but I still heard it.
"What?" I was frustratedly spoken.
"Nothing." He giggled again then he just left me in the room. A few minutes, he respond, "Anyway, I need to go I have something to attend an important appointment today."
"Is it a girl again?" I am the one who makes him annoyed.
"No. It's a client. I know you're going to cancel the meeting today because you're still making a drama there so I am now who can meet with them."
He smiled, the reason I frowned my forehead.
"I have to go now. We'll talk later. Just cry alone."
I threw a pillow at him until he closed the door. I was blown away by Harold's joke. That man is really different. He pissed me off always.
I just ordered drinks from the hotel with the waiter to relax my mind. I'm really upset these previous days because of what Athena did.
It's Sunday when we decided to leave Manila and went back to Bicol. Our maids surpised us with some delicious lunch meals served on the table.
"Perfect. My stomach is starving." I heard Harold whispering beside of me.
I smiled in a sarcasm. A few minutes, my phone have suddenly rang. I saw it was my executive secretary.
"Can I excuse for awhile brad? I need to answer this call." I said.
"Sure, brad. No problem." Then, I headed towards the living room to answer the call.
"Hello, Miss Talavera. What is it?"
