"Hey! Are you okay?"
Luke asked me for the 10th time. Allen and Clayton are already asleep, they sleep well for now. I rolled my eyes at him for the 10th time as well. I crossed my arms in front of my chest and looked away, still not answering him. I'm just annoyed with them because they didn't tell me their plans about this freaking vacation.
If I know, I could bring my stuff.
"Hey, please talk to me." Luke is still touching me so I continue not to talk to him.
"Talk to my hand, then." I put my hand in front of his face but I'm shocked when he suddenly intertwined our fingers.
I tried to let go but he is so strong. I just rubbed my forehead because I was still really disgusted. This time, I will talk to him.
"What? If you need something, tell them, not me." I said that rudely to him while pointing at the two sleeping.
"But they're not you. All I need is you. I'm sorry," He said bluntly.
Not for being fragile but I just let him hold my hand and lean his head on my shoulder. I feel like OA if I haven't talked to him yet.
"Okay, then. But you know that I have work, how can I care about my papers?"
"I know. Don't worry about that. I already manage it." He smiled at me "Let's just focus on this vacation, please?"
I rolled my eyes in the air because I have no choice. I calm myself and smiled at him "Alright! I'm sorry for getting annoyed."
"It's fine. I understand."
I let him rest on my shoulder, while I just stared at the beautiful, blue water as I buried my two legs. We are already here.
"Wait! I have something to ask you." I pushed luke's head and faced him. I put my finger under my chin when I looked into his eyes.
"What is it?"
"What's on the suitcase?" I simply asked, still staring into his eyes.
He smiled. "What else? Probably your stuff. What kind of question is that, Blaire?"
"Like?"
"Like swimwear, dresses, shorts, socks, hats, sunglasses, bathing suits, and so on. That's too much for me to go into detail."
"W-what?" I'm shocked. "You bought too much? Aish! You should have just told me your plan so I could be ready. It's not like this." I hit him on his arm.
It's really thrilling! He wasted his money for buying those things that I have. Aish! I hope he just saved the money he spent.
"Why are you getting mad?" He asked.
I glared at him. "Because you wasted your money for those things that I even have. You shouldn't do that." I said to him with mixed anger.
He faced me and then held both of my cheeks "Don't worry about that. I've been collecting this thing for a long time." He smiled sweetly at me.
"What? It's been a long time?"
He chuckled and leaned his head on my shoulder again. "Nothing! Just don't worry about that. Just focus on me."
"Alright!" I was about to close my eyes when I remember something. "Wait!"
"Again? What it is?" He asked in a cute way. But I'm serious!
"How did you know my size? You said you bought clothes for me. So..."
He laughed a little and then he leaned on me "Well, I already saw your body, I touched it, and I also tasted every single part of your body. So..." He stopped and looked at me "You get it? "
I pushed him hard and turned away from him. I feel like my face is red because of what he said. Yes, it's true! But he doesn't need to say that.
I'm just looking at the water the whole time, while Luke is just playing with my hands, and Allen and Clayton are still asleep in our villa. But sometimes, luke talking nonsense things, and I just listen to him and nodded at the same time.
I'm really excited but I can't show it this time. I still thinking of my work. Jeez! This is my first time here in the Maldives and I can't help but get more excited silently.
I remember something again about here...
"Luke, can I ask you something again?" I approached him and wrapped my arms around his.
He smiled at me. "Sure! What it is?"
"How much it costs? All the expenses here in the Maldives, like the villa? As far as I know, the hotel here is expensive." He stared at me for a moment "And ah, also, all the expenses you got for buying those things I have?"
He didn't answer right away so I raised an eyebrow at him but he just laughed softly. "I told you, just focus on me. Don't worry about those things." He smiled. "It will be memorable to you. I promise!"
"He's right, Blaire! 'Don't think about such things. Just enjoy the moment." Clayton suddenly said when he approached us and sat between us.
"They're right," Allen added. "I'm excited."
I was surprised and laughed at the same time "Oh! You two are awake! Did you sleep well?" I looked at Allen "And you're back! Anyway, I'm also excited."
"Let's go, guys!"
Maybe I won’t think about my job first, I don’t want to be stressed, especially and we’re here on Conrad Rangali Island, Maldives. We went into our villa and change our clothes, but before that, we took a quick shower. When Luke and I are done, Allen and Clayton went in. And we were about to go outside when a group of women entered our villa— they called it THE MURAKA.
My brows furrowed even more when I realized that the group of women who entered are my friends. What are they doing here? Even Pat and Eliza are here. I approached them and looked at them one by one.
"What are you all doing here?" I asked them, they look at each other.
"Luke didn't tell you?" Anne asked me, instead.
I rolled my eyes at her. "Would I ask if I knew? Huh? Anne?" I said rudely to him.
She chuckled. "We were on vacation, Blaire. Are you the only ones who can go on vacation, aren't we? We're just ahead of you. Duh!"
"And Blaire. Don't ever think about our work because as far as I know, luke already manages it." Pat looked at luke and raised an eyebrow "Right?"
I also looked at luke and he just nodded and smiled. "In that case, where did you come from?"
They all looked at each other again. "Ah ... We were just walking around there."
"Yeah! We just want to see the whole MURAKA."
"And you know, it was really incredible, like, no... it's perfect. I swear, I'll be back here."
"Really?" She nodded "Did you already go downstairs, underwater?
 
Lev shook her head. "Not yet. Maybe later." I just smiled and slowly nodded at her.
"Do you want me to walk with you, Blaire? If you want to see the whole place." Luke faced me and I just smiled and nodded at the same time.
The Muraka is made for group travel with two floors; The upstairs area is home to the master suite with an enormous bed, as well as a giant bathroom with a soaking tub that looks out over the ocean. Another bedroom upstairs is ideal for children or friends, with two double beds and its own bathroom. There's also a third bedroom, which could be great for the nanny, in-laws, or whomever else you're traveling with.
"I know, it's really expensive to be here. Right?" Luke nodded. "Look around and you can see how much it costs," I said.
A large wall of glass opens up to a spacious deck with hammocks, sofas, daybeds, a dining area, and loungers— and a private infinity pool, of course. You can also jump from the deck into the beautiful turquoise water. Another deck off the dining room (known as the sunset balcony because it faces west) is also a fun place to hang out. The wow factor is off the charts. Everything is sleek, made of marble, and stunning.
The sunrise-facing deck features an infinity pool and four daybeds, while the deck on the opposite side is perfect for watching the sunset. Once fully completed, The Muraka will also have a gym onsite and butler's quarters.
The villa is set far off from the island and the rest of the resort. No one can see us - we're really in the middle of the ocean. We're encouraged to take our shoes off and put on the slippers that are provided near the front door. We also certainly don't want to scratch up that marble with our flip-flops!
A spiral staircase connects the floor— or you can take your personal elevator. When the elevator door opens, you see blue and only blue— a 180-degree-curved underwater dome made of thick acrylic. I was told it is able to withstand a tsunami! This is when it all hits you— you're underwater, and it's just as amazing as you might imagine.
The hallway is striking, made entirely of glass. The bathroom is to the left, and it's pretty impressive to have a toilet and shower that looks out into the sea with fish swimming by. The bedroom area is just as incredible. The king bed is comfortable, and past the bedroom is a small observation area with chairs where you can relax and admire this very special scenery. There's even remote-controlled black-out curtains in the bedroom (if you'd like some privacy from the fishes) and a fancy lighting system outside and in the surrounding corals that changes color and can be controlled by your bedside.
The villa also has extras like a fully stocked gym and laundry machines, so we literally never have to leave the Muraka until it's time for our vacation to end.
I lay down on the bed and looked at the scattered fish in the glass wall, luke was just looking at me and obviously deep in thought. I stood up and approached him, holding his hand. "What's wrong, hon?"
He just grinned and sat on the edge of the bed and made me sit on his lap. I kissed him for a moment and smiled. "If you don't want to say, that's fine. Thank you for bringing me here."
"Before you were angry, then now you're grateful." He caressed my back.
I raised an eyebrow. "If you don't want to, it's your art." I got up but luke pulled me again so we both lay down on the bed and I sat on it.
He kissed me. "What do you want to do? Tell me," He asked.
"Hmm?" I looked around, still on his top "First, I want to eat in an underwater restaurant. I'm hungry!" We laughed and he nodded and kissed me before stood up.
He did take me to the underwater restaurant, and I didn't know what to say because, "It's so nice." I looked at luke because I said it out loud. I'm amazed.
I am so amazed at what I see now, I never thought I would be able to go to such a place. I didn't notice that there was food in front of me. While we were eating, luke and I talked about what we would do next. I want to do everything I know... with Luke.
After we ate, we decided to take a walk first while holding hands on the beach. As I walk along the shoreline of the beach I notice how my body relaxes and my mind quietens - free from past distractions, current happenings, and future plans… my feet feel both the warmth of the wet sand and the crisp coolness of the ocean water as it washes up onto the shore over my feet and then recedes back into the flow of the ocean again.
Then, all of our friends and us went snorkeling, fishing, and we also played volleyball in the ocean. And when it got dark, we entered the villa, but we were all in the same room underwater, looking at the fishes through the glass wall and talking about nonsense things.
"Yeah! It's really beautiful here. Right? I wonder who is the engineer who builds this place. He may be handsome. I can see that..." Lev slowly nodded while still looking around.
"Guys," Treize suddenly talked
"Yeah?"
"What?"
"What's your problem?"
"I got a dog." He said happily.
I smiled. "Really? That's nice!"
"What's your name?" Roxie asked when she stood up and faced Treize.
"Lunch," He simply said. I laughed because of that.
"Why Lunch? You don't seem to know, treize." I laughed again.
He just chuckled. "So I can say, 'Hold on guys, I'm gonna get lunch and when I come back they'll expect lunch but it will be a dog'."
"You know, sometimes, I wonder how we became friends..."
"Yeah! Are you really our friend? Maybe you just got lost ah." Alice said that's why we laughed again and again.
He glared at us one by one. "You all love me so shut up, dude!"
I just shook my head at them because of what they were saying. I can say it was one of the happiest vacations I have ever experienced.
"Luke?" He looked at me for a moment. "Why did you even think of taking a vacation? And all of a sudden." I asked him.
We were lying on the bed. The others are on the floor so we're not too crowded here. Allen and Darcy were next to Luke and me. I faced Luke when he just stared at me. I raised an eyebrow at him.
He chuckled. "I just want you to relax yourself, your mind, body, and soul. I just really feel for them." He hugged me and kissed my forehead.
I hugged him back and smiled. "Then..." I looked up at him "Thank you. Thank you for making me happy, Luke. I really appreciate everything."
He just smiled at me and kissed my forehead again. I hugged him tightly and closed my eyes. I can't name the fun I'm feeling right now, all I know is, I don't want this vacation to end. I smiled even more when I hear him talk again.
"I will always do everything to make you happy, Blaire. I promise you that."
