CHAPTER XXII: THE SECOND OPPONENTS
Salana's P. O. V
The fireball that looked like a sun hit them...
"Dacryphilia: Cry Shield!" The man with blind fold cried out. After that, the tears coming out of his eyes became a tear shape big shield, which blocked the fireball that looked like sun.
"Haist! They blocked it!" I nagged. Kasakstan just laughed. "They don't, Lana." He said. Then, he pointed his index finger towards the two opponents of us. Then, I saw their tear-shaped shield melting little by little.
"Ahhhh!" They shouted so scared at once.
"Chionophile: Snow Blast!" The white haired woman shouted. Then, she pointed out her hands to the fireball that looked like sun, and a snow blast hit the sun.
"That's useless!" Kasakstan yelled. Then, he flicked his finger, which made the fireball that looked like sun to burned, and hit directly the two opponents if us.
"Pluviophile: Water Shield!" I shouted. Then, I pointed my hand towards the opponent of us, which made them surrounded by water, and made them lessen the impact of the fireball of Kasakstan.
"Why did you do that, Lana?!" Kasakstan shouted at me angrily. I just looked at him with no emotions on my face and said, "You should remember the rules, Kasakstan. We are not allowed to kill, or else we are going to be disqualified." I said, which made Kasakstan to shut up.
"Let's go to them, we need to at least gave them a first aid." I commanded. Then, I ran towards them, Kasakstan just followed me...
"Hey, are you two okay?" I asked nervously, as I saw a lot of burn in their skin. They did not answer, as their eyes closed and wincing in pain.
"Partner, do you have a spell that can at least lessen the pain that they felt right now?" I asked. Kasakstan just shook his head aide by side. "S-Sorry, I don't have that spell." He answered, which made me sighed in disappointment.
"Haist, I think I need to use the spell I now even if it will eat the half of my stamina." I said. Then, I stood up and pointed my two hands to the two opponents of us. But Kasakstan suddenly held my wrist.
"Don't do that, it's too dangerous for us. If one of us became weak, or do not have enough stamina to fight, we can be defeated easily by the more stronger opponents." Kasakstan explained. I just shook my wrist to get off his hand. "Kasakstan, I can't just stand here and watch these two suffering in pain, which I know I have the contribution why they felt the pain right now. We must at least give them first aid, Partner." I stated. So, he just bowed his head.
"Okay, do whatever you want to do." Kasakstan said. I just nodded and have him a broad smile.
"Redeeming the Healing Philè: First Aid Heal!" I shouted. Then, my hands released a green light, which surrounds the body of the opponent. And after a few minutes, they opened their eyes and back teby consciousness. Just clearing something, I did not see the eyes of the guy with a blind fold, because of common-sense reason. After they saw us, they touched the ground using their forehead.
"S-Sorry, we concede our defeat! Please for give us for our disrespectful approach!" The white haired woman apologized. I just giggled and patted her head. "Don't worry, our fight is finally done. So, may I know your names?" I asked. The white haired woman just smiled and nodded, the man with a blind fold did the same too.
"My name is Cloe Remend, and this is my brother Aliminos Remend. We are an orphan and work at the laundry shop." The white haired woman named Cloe said, which made me look at them pitifully. "Sorry to hear that." I said. Cloe just patted my shoulder.
"It's okay, Ms?" She asked. "Salan, Salana Tempest, and this is my best Partner named Kasakstan, I don't know his last name." I said, introducing ourselves.
"I don't have a last name." Kasakstan said. I just smiled awkwardly because of that.
"By the way, where did you get a money to enter this Centurial Commoners Game?" I asked curiously. They just looked so sad to each other. "We borrowed enough money from the bank that owned by Baron Davis" Cloe answered, which made me shocked.
"Gosh! That's a lot of money. How could you pay that money now? Sorry if we did our best, but you know we also need to be competitive to win this Centurial Commoners Game." I said. They just giggled and Cloe patted my head. "Don't worry about us, Ms. Salana, as we went at the third stage of the game, I think we could at least pay half of the money we borrowed." Alamimos said, which made me smile.
"So, we need to go now. Just wait for the rescuers to come uh." I said. Then, I stood up. After that, Kasakstan and I turned around. Then, a portal appeared in front of us.
"Let's go now, Partner!" I exclaimed. So, he held my hand and nodded. "Let's go, let's give our best, and be cautious!" He said. I just nodded as an answer. Then, we jumped into the portal. Then, our vision spins again, and after a while, we go to the hot, dusty land called dessert.
"Gezzz, so hot here!" I shouted.
"Yeah, bitch. Hot as me!" Kasakstan and I heard a man voice behind us. So, we looked around together to see who's this man. Then, we saw a masculine man that wearing a girl's dress and male who is riding on a black cloud.
"I hope you can give us a very interesting fight." The man riding on the black cloud said, and yawned after.
"That's for sure, sleepy head!" Kasakstan provoked them. Then, he laughed that caused the opponent of us to grind their teeth. I just patted the shoulder of Kasakstan and did thumbs-up again. "You did it perf
ectly again." I said, which made him chuckled...
