21. Shadow Terror

"I don't understand you. But you're still worrying," the girl said with a flat face. Her facial expression often did not match her mood.
"I'm fine. What are you doing here anyway?" I asked her. I was still trying to calm myself down.
"Just happened to be passing by on this street and I happened to see you. That's all," she replied curtly.
"Oh."
Nakamori looked at me with eyes that seemed to doubt me. "Seeing your condition, you shouldn't linger on the streets like this. I don't want the next morning to see news of a young man lying in the middle of the street in a terrible condition," he quipped.
"Yes. Then you'd better take me home. How about it?" I didn't intend to ask him to walk me, I just simply threw those words out because I was feeling a little annoyed by his treatment.
"Did you just say that to me?" Nakamori looked like she couldn't believe it.
I nodded. But afterward, I somewhat regretted the words that came out of my mouth.
"Hold me firmly!" he ordered.
I could barely swallow my saliva. This crazy girl carried me so easily.

"Stop it!" scolded Halb upon seeing Rain, about to reach for the soju bottle for the umpteenth time. There were already about 4 bottles of soju that Rain had finished.
Rain didn't reply, but she looked like a daydreamer. It felt like her common sense had evaporated into thin air.
"You really can die suddenly, if you continue your horrible lifestyle like this." Halb couldn't get enough Rain. For almost a week now, Rain had been acting strangely and constantly damaging her own body. Sometimes he drank alcohol excessively and also smoked excessively. Everything that was not good he did excessively this past week.
"Hahaha... dead you say. I won't just die. This soju won't kill me and also, you don't need to worry about me so much," Rain said half-drunk.
Halb's patience was really at an end. Dealing with Rain was no easy matter. He could have gone crazy dealing with how damaged the person named Rain was. If only he didn't have such a close relationship with her, he really would have closed his eyes at her miserable state.
"I'm asking you to stop all this," Halb pleaded almost desperately.
"Even though you're asking me like that. I know very well that you have already searched for your answer," Rain said with a lopsided smile.
"You're testing my faith." Halb exhaled heavily.

"This is your house, isn't it?" asked Nakamori to make sure the address I had given him was correct.
"Yes. Now put me down!" I pleaded with her. It felt uncomfortable to be carried by a girl who was even smaller than me. When she carried me it felt like I was a princess.
"Alright Princess," she said indifferently.
Just as I was thinking about the discomfort, now she was saying it out loud. This girl is terrible. I wanted to be angry at her, but she had helped me, it was such a dilemma.
After she dropped me off she then quickly said goodbye to me. She seemed to be in a hurry. So not long after he said goodbye, he immediately left and left me alone standing in front of my door.
I sighed heavily, if only this damn panic attack hadn't come over me, maybe my coffers would have increased soon. Damn it, why does it feel like I'm being terrorized?
Not wanting to make things even more dizzy then, I preferred to immediately go inside the house and never, ever found out that there was a black shadow standing where I was standing before. It was grinning from ear to ear, just like the monsters that appear in children's nightmares.

"Regen... Regen ...." called Graiss while looking around for the young man.
Regen who felt called walked towards the little girl. "What's wrong?" he asked himself with a curious face. The young man had just finished cleaning his body. Her hair looked a little still wet.
"Did you put this on my window?" asked Graiss curiously. The little girl showed a bunch of dandelions wrapped in a white ribbon.
Regen's eyebrows shot up one side. He did not remember giving Graiss a bunch of dandelions to the little girl.
"No. It wasn't me because I never gave them to you." Regen then looked at the dandelions closely.
"If it's not your gift, can I keep it?" Graiss hoped Regen didn't tell her to throw the flower away. To be honest, Graiss herself was quite fond of dandelions. Dandelions were Hassel's favorite flower.
"I don't like the idea of letting you keep gifts of unknown origin. But apparently, you like the flower a lot yourself, so I think you can keep it," Regen said, allowing Graiss to keep the flower.
"Thank you, Regen." Graiss smiled happily as Regen allowed her to keep the flower.
"But you have to remember if I find out that you got an allergy because of that flower. I will never hesitate to throw it away." Regen looked protective as he reminded Graiss. He just did not want the girl to suffer.
Graiss formed an "o" on Regen's finger. After that, she went to her room.
After Graiss left, Regen sighed heavily. He slammed his body on the sofa. His eyes accidentally caught an unfamiliar figure from the window. It was as if he saw a strange figure.
Is it just my feeling? Regen thought tangledly.
Regen tried to make sure by walking towards the window. He then looked there and tried to confirm his vision. But he couldn't find anything. He knew there was nothing out there, but the feeling wasn't so good. He felt like someone was watching him from afar.
The atmosphere was not very comfortable. It felt like eyes were watching her from afar. She was a little scared of her current situation. It was unusual for her to have such a tense atmosphere. Plus he felt like he was blind. He simply did not know who, the figure who was trying to watch him was.
Until finally he turned around and found a figure in the form of a dark black shadow, appearing and standing like a statue in front of him.
Horrible... horrible. The shadow was dark in color, it had the shape of a human body, but it had no face. Although it looked simple, its non-threatening form seemed to spread terror in silence. It felt as if the shadow was emitting a cold aura that was so deadly.
Regen swallowed his saliva with difficulty. His body could not move, it felt as if his body was numb. Half-dead he tried to move it but it felt increasingly stiff and difficult to move.
