The one who tapped my shoulder was none other than Creed, himself.
What’s more shocking is, there is no evidence that he cried, but instead, you can see a smirk on his lips.
“Come here, asshole” he commanded me.
I automatically followed him.
I can’t believe this.
He grabbed something inside his pocket.
I was just looking at every move that he’ll do. As if I was just a mere statue standing in front of him.
He grabs a handkerchief and walks towards me.
I took a step back.
What is he going to do?
“Dude, don’t make this hard for me. I will just put this handkerchief to your eyes.
Don’t worry you wouldn’t get hurt. You will be happy instead.” He said.
But I can barely hear the last words that he said.
I let him do what he wanted to do.
What is this?
Is this his way to help me not to be hurt by things that I will see?
Is he doing this for me, not to get hurt, when it is time that I am going to look at the dead body of the woman I love?
After what he did, he assists me to go outside. As soon as we step outside, I heard footsteps behind us.
Are they doctors? Or nurse?
I just didn’t mind it.
He’s still assisting me to somewhere I don’t know.
I wouldn’t know where we are, not until I heard knocks on the door.
I heard the creak of the door.
Creed still assists me.
When I enter the room, there were silenced.
I stopped walking when someone covers my ears.
That hand felt cold but at the same time soft like a baby.
I remember, Celine.
I miss her.
Slowly and gently, those hands covering my ears are on the handkerchief trying to untangle the knot.
I closed my eyes and at the same time, the cloth that covered my eyes was already untied.
As soon as I open my eyes, I see different colors of balloons.
The whole room is full of balloons, roses and at the center of it was a banner. I looked at the banner, intently.
“Sir Beks, will you marry me?”
If Yes, kindly turn around.
If No, kill yourself, please?”
Out of my mind, I turn around.

She is smiling sweetly at me. Her eyes were filled with so much joy. I can’t utter a single
word.
I am still astonished. I didn’t move, rather I couldn’t move.
It was like angels were sent down here just to grant my wish.
My mon amour could remember me.
“Hey. You look like an idiot. You didn’t miss me?” she asked.
Damn. Her sweet voice.
I may look like a psycho but, to hell with it. I love her, that’s all that matters.
When I came back to my senses, I hugged her tightly.
She grunted.
“G-gosh. I’m not going anywhere, okay? You can save it later.” She told me while caressing my back.
That’s the cue. Tears run through my cheeks.

I already cried a lot today.

Tears don’t lessen one’s dignity.

She tap-tapped my shoulder and said, “Aist, are you not going to answer me?”
I chuckled.
The woman I love returns. I could die right now.
Oops.

I can’t die right now.
Because I have to marry her.
I take off my arms that hug her and kissed her lips without her consent.
She jolted a little then smacked my face hard.
Argh. The nerve of this crazy girl.
“What was that for? I am about to say Yes to you! But, I think I will not just answer if my soon-to-be wife will be a sadist one.” I joked while holding my cheeks that is now so red.
She pouted, “Oh, okay fine. Don’t marry me! You just waste those sad moments at the pub and your priceless facial expression when you got the news that I have amnesia. Hmph.” She said.

My mind still has not processed those pieces of information.
She can’t remember me a while ago, right?
“Your memory just came back, right? You can’t recognize me, right? You even pushed me.” I asked.
She then laughed so hard, as if there is no tomorrow. She also does the walling and feels the craziness that she does.
“That was a PRANK, you dumbass!” she said in the middle of her laugh.

This witch! All of that was just pure acting?
I thought he could not remember me, but then it was just a prank.
I almost die with that, then she’ll go to spill to me that it was just a prank? Ghad!
I seriously move towards her.
Her laughter fades as soon as she saw me walking towards her with a serious face.
“C- Carlos?”
Her eyebrows creased.
I smirked.
It’s payback time, witch!
I pushed her towards the wall. She tries to resists but I already cornered her.
She looks tensed.
“Ha-ha. This is not a good joke, Yue. Ah-m Uhm. I just recovered, ahm, the doctors said we can’t do that."
My face is already near hers. I look at her eyes, down to her nose then to her lips.
Those lips. Ghad!
I bit my lip.
I move closer to her, facing her till she almost closes her eyes.
That’s it.
I walked slowly to go outside that room. As soon as I reached the door, I look at her.
She is still in that position; her eyes are still close and her lips are still pouting. I silently laughed.
Payback is a bitch, witch.
“Hey, witch! What are you waiting for? A dinosaur will not come to kiss you.” I shouted.
When he heard that, she then opens her eyes.
Then he eyed me with tiger eyes.
Oh, man. She’s mad.
She runs towards me while saying, “F*ck you, I kick your balls!”
I laughed very hard while running away from her.
Hahahaha.
I missed this, the craziness between us. And most especially, the woman I love.
I’m glad it was just a prank. I am sure that her two brothers are her accomplices.
I shook my head.
I wonder who suggested that set-up? It was Creed for sure.
But thanks to them, I fall even more with the craziest, the sadists, and the most beautiful woman in my life, Celine Navarro.
I can’t wait to marry her so that no one could take her away from me. I’ll make sure that she’ll carry my basketball team inside her womb.
I look at her once more.
And there, I saw what was the missing piece in me.
And that’s, Celine Navarro-Hayasaki. My soon-to-be wife.
