Chapter 42

That night, without caring about his hunger or the food he had cooked with great effort, Edward tried to find Dali as best he could. He was worried about Dali. So, first, Edward tried to find Dali's workplace, which of course was deserted. Only a few people were still working overtime. So, the attempt to search the office came to nothing.
Edward of course couldn't look at his mother-in-law's house because, as Niel had informed him, Dali wasn't there. Edward also couldn't search Edward's own parents' house because there was no way Dali would run away to his parents' house. Yes, although for those two possibilities Edward would still try another time by pretending to pass by or visit.
"Then where do I go?" complained Edward.
Actually, Edward had thought of the possibility that Dali could be at Bubun's house. But, Bubun just got married yesterday. So, according to plan, today, Bubun and Fattan were on their honeymoon to Japan. But, out of deep curiosity, Edward decided to visit Bubun's house. And of course, the house was deserted.
He then tried to find Dali's old residence, a private apartment, but it was still deserted. There was no sign that the apartment was inhabited again. Edward searched for Dali in confusion and anxiety until it was almost 10pm. His body was very tired. Therefore, Edward decided to rest first.
In the room, Edward could only start to get frustrated by just lying on the bed. His spirit was gone, replaced with confusion and worry. He was confused about Dali's whereabouts and why she had left. He was also worried about Dali's condition, which according to the doctor's certificate said Dali was pregnant. She was also worried about Dali's condition, which according to the doctor's statement, was pregnant. She was also afraid that this problem would create a stir in the family if it could not be handled quickly.
"Miss, what triggered you to go this far? What exactly did I do wrong? Why didn't you open up first but suddenly left?"
Edward could only mutter to himself with tears in his eyes. The man was confused to death. He didn't know what he had to face. But, the fact was, Edward couldn't sleep all night. The only thing that comforted his heart were their wedding photos and some personal photos they took while out together.
From the selfies Edward had, he could see Dali's beautiful figure smiling sweetly along with some spoiled poses like hugging and kissing Edward. All the photos seemed to show a twinkle of mutual love. But, now Edward became skeptical. Did Dali really love him? Or is there actually a gaping hole in Dali's heart that leads Dali to get out of Edward's life through that hole? Ah, Edward was really confused.
After a night spent brooding and blaming himself, the next day, looking disheveled, Edward tried to find Dali again. This time to hotels around the office, around his house, and around his mother-in-law's house. However, all of Edward's efforts were futile. All the hotels Edward visited claimed that there was not a single visitor named Dali Arumi Wiraatmadja either currently or in the history of the inn.
Edward was almost discouraged. Edward was confused because the family began to wonder why Dali did not come to visit when Edward pretended to visit. In fact, Edward had pretended to visit in order to make sure that Dali was indeed absent from both of their parents' mansions. At the very least, wouldn't a troubled wife tend to take her problems out on her parents? In fact, no. Dali was not there.
Until a week passed, news of Lisa's return from the honeymoon had been heard. Without further ado, Edward drove straight to Fattan's house, which had now become Lisa's residence as well.
Edward's eyes felt guilty as he watched the two people in love making love by hugging each other in front of the house. Yes, in front of the house, as if they had just been gardening.
Actually, Edward did not want to disturb the comfort of the two people. Moreover, he also knew the beauty of early marriage that tends to encourage a couple to be continuously romantic. However, Edward's nervousness to the point of crashing into the gate of the house made the two realize that their romance was outrageous enough that it had to be done outside the house.
"Uh, Edward. Honey, there's Edward," Lisa interrupted after realizing.
The two people were of course embarrassed to be caught kissing in front of people. You could see that their faces were flushed and they were breathing heavily.
"Uh, sorry if I'm interrupting, Bun."
Edward decided to come closer. He had no reason to leave. Besides the fact that Lisa had willingly stopped their kiss, Edward also desperately needed information from Lisa.
"What's wrong, Ward? Why is your face so pale? Are you sick?"

"What's wrong, Ward? Why is your face so pale? Are you sick?"
Edward actually wanted to justify it. Because the effects of frustration, lack of sleep, and lack of food had made Edward weak and often dizzy lately. Moreover, he also had to keep looking for Dali. So, his energy was almost completely depleted. However, of course he would deny that fact.
"Um, it's okay, Bun. I just wanted to ask you something."
The two people heard the problem Edward pointed out. Namely, Dali had mysteriously disappeared for a week. Bubun, of course, felt sorry for him. However, both Bubun and Fattan admitted that they knew nothing about Dali's decision. Dali also didn't tell anything to Lisa, the aunt that Dali loved the most. Lisa even tried to call Dali too. Unfortunately, nothing.
Dali's number was completely unreachable, which made Edward's worries increase. Various negative assumptions fluttered about perhaps Dali had an accident or something. Yes, even though Edward didn't want that to happen. So, Fattan and Bubun still tried to help find Dali with some messengers and connections.
Unfortunately, until two months passed, there was no news of Dali at all. He also never once appeared in front of the people Edward knew. So, as smart as a squirrel jumps, it will fall too. Therefore, the news of Dali's escape continued to spread until both extended family and office friends found out. Although his mother-in-law was saddened, Edward's discussion with Lisna's mother gave Edward a glimmer of possibility. Yes, Edward realized, there was one place that Edward had not yet visited.
"Hi, Edward," greeted a woman sweetly.
Edward's eyes went wide. Edward really didn't expect that hypocritical woman to appear in his house. This time in a sexy outfit wrapped in kimono pajamas, not with the false image of 'innocent and polite Intan'.
At first, Intan made a sensual gesture by opening the kimono pajamas. Showing the underwear that is more suitable to be called as 'official clothes'. It's just that, for a single woman like Intan, who do you want to be 'official' to?
"Wh-what are you doing here!" Edward scolded.
Intan stepped closer as she threw her kimono around with sensual movements and a seductive gaze. As a normal man, especially since he had not made love with his wife for almost two months, of course he felt called to hug and touch the body that was deliberately 'thrown' for him. However, Edward tried to dispel his lust by stepping back one by one.
Brep!
Edward's burly body had already managed to sink into the embrace of Ingat's body. Intan's skin that was in direct contact with the t-shirt on his stomach seemed to demand something in him to become more turbulent. Edward was frantic and afraid he would make a mistake.
"A-a-what are you doing, Tan?" complained Edward in confusion.
The reason was, he began to be tempted by Intan's touch on his chest until his whole body felt hot and his breath began to choke. Moreover, Intan's lips were deliberately applied with sensual lipstick. Making Edward could only swallow his saliva when Intan tried to tease him with those sexy lips and tongue.
"Edward, I know you need me right now. So, touch me as much as you want," Intan offered soulfully.
