Hearing me call his name, Kai knew it was over, it was done, his control snapped like a cord and he groaned before he yanked me into a searing, burning kiss, lost balance, and ended up laying on top of him. 
When Kai returned with some tissues, he wiped me clean and stayed beside me, “A…cuddle. I want a cuddle with you.” 
I gave him a look, “I don’t think you would be asking me that.” 
“Please?” His eyes looked at me hopefully and I sighed. 
“Alright, come here.” I pulled his body near me until I could feel his breath fanning on my face, his nose only a few inches from me, and I glanced at his lips before pulling his head to my chest, and embracing him. He sighed in relief, looking at me with a smile. 
He then grabbed me and wrapped his arms around me, spooning me from behind and inhaling my scent. “I want to stay like this forever, Arya, the baby.” 
I just smiled, feeling comfortable with his touch and closing my eyes to relax. Somehow, I am surprisingly relaxing in his arms. 
Again, in Alpha Kai’s arms. The alpha that I dreaded a long time ago, the alpha I ran away from, and the alpha that I kept on pushing away, is now laying beside me after he planted his seed on me. 
Well, I officially accepted that I couldn’t get Kai to push me away from my life, so might as well do something about it and seize the moment. 
I am his, and he is mine. 
I suddenly remembered Rem’s words to me last time.
He was asking what are our plans now.
Now might be the best time…
“Kai…” I called out as I lay on his chest, I looked up and met his eyes.
“Yes, baby?” He mumbled, his eyes half closed, half awake.
“What are our plans after this?” I asked him, “I mean…do you want us to stay here forever in my father’s territory?”
He looked at me, now fully awake at my question.
“Hmm…I have a plan in mind, but I want to hear what you want to say.” 
I paused, “I am not sure…I could stay wherever, it’s you that I am considering as you are now safeguarding the territory of the south. You are busy as the elder after all.”
The corner of his lips curved into a smile, “Of course, you always think about me…but I want what’s best for us and where you are comfortable staying.”
I nodded, “I’ve been thinking about visiting your twin…”
At that, something flashed in his eyes as he avoided his gaze at me.
I blinked, Kai is hiding something from me.
“What? Did something happen to Zef?”
He cleared his throat, “No, but judging from the last time that he treated me, I think my twin has a psychological problem…”
I paused, “You didn’t tell me that.”
“Because there is no need to. I want you to stay healthy as possible and not worry about others.”
“But-“
“Not unless you still feel attached to him?” He asked, his voice ringing with jealousy. 
I shook my head. “It’s not that…”
I sighed, not wanting us to fight over this. I decided to keep quiet and he noticed it.
“Alright, we’ll visit Zef soon.” He suddenly decided. 
After that talk with Kai, we decided to say our goodbyes to Rem. I was thankful for Rem’s help. But I believe it’s time to part ways. 
I, Kai, and Amari then ventured into the woods and made our way to the Midnight's pack.
But when we arrived there, I was surprised to see how everything was a wreck. 
We spotted Zef, who had turned out to have a psychological problem. He turned insane from all the stress and now, he couldn’t talk. 
I am not sure what his condition is but Kai took him to the necromancer who was helping them. 
“The necromancer told us that I and Zef won’t survive with each other. I guess he’s right.” Kai said to me, looking at his twin with sadness in his eyes. 
Aside from being the elder, Kai’s job has another addition. He is now back to his post as the alpha of the Midnight's pack.
I decided to stay with him.

I woke up with a pair of warm big arms wrapped around my body. At this point, waking up every morning in Kai's arms doesn’t feel strange at all. 
If anything, it feels...at home. 
I looked at Kai's thick eyelashes as the sun gleamed on his skin, making his now olive skin shiny. Really, what does this guy put on his face? His skin was smooth as skin, with no pores visible. His nicely cut dark hair shows that he maintains himself well 
Plus, he sleeps shirtless. I had somehow gotten used to seeing his abs every morning. His lean and muscular body was showing. I could feel his morning wood always poking my pregnant belly. 
Standing up, I went into the bathroom to pee when strong hands stopped me. I looked at Kai who was still closing his eyes but his hands were on mine. 
“Where Are you going?” He asked. 
I smirked and rolled my eyes before answering, “I’m going to pee.”
“I’ll just be back for a minute, Kai. I won’t leave you.” I said and tried to push away his hands. Kai was quick enough to grab my small waist and put me on the soft mattress. 
He then attacked me with a hug and I just let him. I know that no matter how I’ll fight against him, he’ll still win anyway. Kai opened his eyes and looked me in the eyes without saying anything. 
“What?”I asked, suddenly feeling suffocated both from his hug and the way he stared at me. I Gulped at the intensity of his gaze. 
“You’re so beautiful.” He said. “And I can't wait for you to carry our babies…again. We can try again right?”
I smiled. “Yes. We can try again…” I believe that I had healed enough. I think my body is prepared to undergo this whole process again. Especially with Kai by my side.
