Chapter 26 The Power of Unity

Michael sat up, his heart pounding in his chest. He knew it wasn't just a dream. It was happening. Right now. But he was having the same dream. Why?
Michael got out of bed and went to the window. He looked out at the city below. It was still peaceful and calm. But Michael knew that it wouldn't last long.
Michael turned away from the window and walked to his desk. He sat down and began to think about what he needed to do.
He knew that he couldn't ignore the dream. He knew that he had to do something.
Michael stood up and walked to the door. He opened it and stepped out into the hallway.
He needed to talk to the other Celestial Guardians. He needed to tell them what was happening. He needed to tell that the dream was about to happen.
Michael knew that he was facing a powerful threat. But he also knew that he was not alone. He had the other Celestial Guardians by his side.
Together, they would stop the destruction of the city. Together, they would save the day.
Michael walked down the hallway to the Celestial Guardians' briefing room. He entered the room and saw the other Guardians gathered around a holographic table.
"Michael," Anya said. "What is it?"
"It's happening," Michael said. "The dream."
The other Guardians looked at each other with concern.
"What do you mean?" Ethan asked.
"I mean that the volcanic eruptions and the fires are happening now," Michael said. "The city is being destroyed."
The other Guardians gasped in horror.
"We need to do something," Anya said. "We need to stop it."
"But how?" Ethan asked. "We don't know what's causing it."
Michael shook his head. "I don't know either," he said. "But we have to find out."
Michael turned to the other Guardians. "We need to split up and search the city," he said. "We need to find the source of this event and stop it before it's too late."
The other Guardians nodded in agreement.
"We're with you, Michael," Anya said.
The Celestial Guardians split up and began to search the city. Michael flew over the city center, scanning the ground for any sign of the source of the event.
Suddenly, he saw something strange. There was a small crack in the ground, and smoke was billowing out of it.
Michael flew down to the crack and landed next to it. He peered into the crack, but it was too dark to see anything.
Michael took a deep breath and stepped into the crack. He began to descend into the darkness.
Michael descended into the darkness, his heart pounding in his chest. He didn't know what he would find at the bottom of the crack, but he was determined to stop the destruction of the city. He was determined to save the day.
After what felt like an eternity, Michael finally reached the bottom of the crack. He found himself in a large cavern. The cavern was filled with smoke and molten lava.
Michael could see the source of the volcanic eruptions. It was a massive lava pit in the center of the cavern.
Michael also saw something else. There was a figure standing in the middle of the lava pit. It was the dark figure that he had seen in his dream.
The figure smiled at Michael. "Have you come to face me again?" it asked. "I am the embodiment of darkness, and I will destroy your city."
Michael raised his hands. "I will not let you do that," he said. "I will protect this city, no matter what."
The figure laughed. "You are no match for me," it said. "I am the source of your nightmares."
Then the figure disappeared.
The figure attacked the people of Earth with a relentless fury. Michael, bound by shackles, watched in horror as the figure destroyed everything in its path.
"Who are you?" Michael demanded. "Why are you doing this?"
The figure laughed. "I am the Destroyer," it said. "I have come to destroy this city and take all your powers."
Michael struggled against his shackles, but they were too strong. He knew he had to find a way to stop the Destroyer, but he didn't know how.
The Destroyer continued its rampage, destroying buildings and killing people. Michael's heart sank. He knew he had to do something, but he didn't know what.
Suddenly, Michael felt a surge of power coursing through his veins. He looked down and saw that his shackles were melting away.
Michael smiled. He was free.
Michael raised his hands and unleashed a blast of energy at the Destroyer. The Destroyer was caught off guard and knocked back.
Michael took advantage of the Destroyer's disorientation and charged at it. He punched and kicked, but the Destroyer was too powerful.
The Destroyer grabbed Michael by the throat and lifted him into the air. Michael struggled to breathe, but he refused to give up.
"You will not defeat me," Michael said. "I will protect this city, no matter what."
The Destroyer laughed. "You are no match for me," it said. "I am the Destroyer, and I will destroy everything."
The Destroyer tightened its grip on Michael's throat. Michael's vision began to blur. He knew he was losing consciousness.
Just when Michael thought all hope was lost, he heard a voice.
"Michael!" the voice cried. "Let him go!"
Michael looked up and saw Anya and the other Celestial Guardians flying towards him. They unleashed their powers at the Destroyer, forcing it to release Michael.
Michael fell to the ground, gasping for breath. Anya rushed to his side and helped him to his feet.
"Are you alright?" Anya asked.
Michael nodded. "I'm fine," he said. "But we need to stop the Destroyer."
Michael and the other Celestial Guardians stood together, facing the Destroyer. They knew that the battle would be difficult, but they were determined to protect the city.
"Together," Michael said, "we will defeat him."
The Celestial Guardians charged at the Destroyer, ready to give it everything they had.
