CHAPTER TWENTY-SIX

Part Two.
two months later...
Master Ki Bou POV:
Two months had passed since the emergence of the cursed child. It went on at the Mana Boundary and he tried to attack us, but luckily, I was able to capture him and put him in a dormant state. I contained him through my Barrier Magic and hid him at the center of the Almaciga Forest where no one could hear, see, or contact him; except to the witnesses of the scene.
two months ago...
I keep on scrolling the pages of the Book of Mar'Jana; the Book of Present and the Future, to find a solution on how to figure out the existence of the Dark Curse that was put in this realm, yet, I see no answers in it. I almost lost hope in finding answers to it. But then the moment when I stopped scrolling the pages and turned into a torn part, a phrase was written on it but was cut short as the other part of the page was ripped.
niasus e'cursis el diya'blu la serena segui e'emierre, ...
The Haiyan'i old tongue means —
"the chaos of demon's curse was the vessel of life and serenity, ... "
The casualties from Bhaltair, the emerging war in the Stone Gate, the scarcity of resources that might result in starvation and poverty are happening now in the realm of the Raiyan, and the war of the elves' society, this was all happening because of the Dark Curse, the one that causes the chaos around the Alvenrass, this all occurred in one timeline, the first in the history of Alvenrass, and it conveys here that the chaos created by the Demon; the Dark Curse, was the vessel of life and tranquility. The light in the darkness, the hope in chaos, which means that one owns the curse despite being in the opposition of darkness. It perplexed me, and I don't believe the intuitions that I have in mind were supposed to be the truth. The missing piece of this page, where is it? I scrolled again, and something fell off the ground. A folded piece of paper, I picked it up and opened it. It was not the missing piece of the page but there's another old tongue phrase written on it...
la cursis emer'jin, valincí el nin, esemetríus, e'poire, el duro levito,
The Haiyan'i old tongue means —
"the curse emerged, balance is weighed, equilibrium, power, and a stone triumphed,
I've been living for ages in Alvenrass but I can't comprehend what this text means. What does it tell about? I know someone who can convey these phrases.
...
I used my Communication Magic to talk with Amodeus; the evil inside this stone. I want to ask some questions regarding the curse. I started mumbling and uttering words to open a portal and communicate with the evil.
I put the Neelam at the round table and started uttering words...
Talk to me, Talk to me,
The question I ask, the answer you unmask,
The truth stands true, that your mouth will through,
The Neelam displays luminous blue light, then a moment after the luminous light passes away and a dark haze slowly ascends and vaporizes out of the stone. Then, a deep devilish voice was heard over the dark haze.
"It's you! Amodeus, the evil of darkness, the one who put a curse in this realm, right?" I said.
"I am, what do you want? It has been a while since I heard a voice from outside," Amodeus replied.
"Tell me the truth, nothing but the truth!"
"Then what is it? I could tell the answers," He replied.
"The curse emerged, balance is weighed, equilibrium, power, and a stone triumphed," I emitted.
He was silenced for a while before he answered me.
"So, the curse has emerged already? The chaos is born, Lord Valixiur's plan has come to happen, and he is now," He answered.
I was a bit confused by his sudden utterances.
"What do you mean?"
"The Cursed Child is born, began to create the sin, the Devil's Curse is passed to him, from Lord Valixiur to us; the Demon Child, and now to him,"
"Tell me more!" I commanded.
"No one could stop it, not even the Offspring of Power, the Cursed Child is stronger than them, the Dark Curse is invincible," The evil answered.
"Then who? Who is the Dark Curse?" I asked.
"Evil plans to create balance in this harmonious world, we want to create sin, we want to crave power. He caged me, thinking that I would be the chaos, but you're all mistaken! You box in the wrong one, this means the one that created the curse, the one you put in the stone, has won! I won," He answered.
I was aghast, that phrase, it has been answered!
"Who is the Dark Curse?" I asked.
I heard him laugh. He just laughed at me.
"Nothing is funny, Amodeus," I emitted.
He stopped laughing and was silent for a moment.
"How come you didn't know it, the Cursed Child? He was just wandering around nearby, yet, How far can your dumbness go beyond without knowing the threat is just around the corner, Wizard!"
"Answer!"
"I know you know, the moment I speak now, do your thing to stop it, — if you can," He responded.
"Answer!!"
"It was the Prince," He answered.
I was appalled. I couldn't believe it. Feels like I was poured in cold water. All this time it was the Prince who was cursed, the root of all chaos, the Dark Curse.
"You are being silent, you couldn't believe it, right? But, it's the truth! The Prince Amir is the Cursed Child, the living Dark Curse," He responded.
"No, this can't be —"
"It can be, he is cursed! Now, the time is running out. I already answered the question. It's time for me to rest inside this blue stone, waiting for my brothers and sisters to get me out of this place, I bid goodbye now, Wizard!" He ended. Now the dark haze vanished and the voice is gone.
present day...
"Two months had passed after the Dark Cursed revealed himself, we managed to stop the emergence of war at the Stone Gate and put Amir in a dormant state by the use of my Barrier Magic. The teams had been overworked for the past few months. As your headmaster, I'll give you the rest days that you deserve, six days are enough to enjoy your free time, and on the seventh day, come back to the camp and I'll give you... your next mission," I announced.
They are delighted by what they hear. After what they have done as an Offspring of Power, I believe they deserve a holiday and have some enjoyment.
"At last! A holiday that we deserve!" Li uttered in excitement.
"May sahod ba kami?" Cleb asked.
"Yun! Meron ba, Master Ki Bou?" Kidlat added.
I stood up and walked towards the cabinetry took out a six-piece pouch wallet full of bills and coins and threw it over the table.
"That's the price, two months' full payment and one-month advance," I responded.
Eyes twinkling seeing the pouch at the table. It's a token they deserved.
"Go now! So that I can rest too," I said.
...
"Master Ki Bou, can you tell me about the situation of Prince Amir? How is he now?" out of nowhere utterances by Shaowi.
The room was hushed, no one dared to speak about it. Meanwhile, Freia stood up and responded to Shaowi's queries.
"It's all fine now, Shaowi. No need to worry, Amir is safe and so we are,"
"How long?" Shaowi responded and gave Freia a cold gaze.
"As long as no one dares to pester the barrier," Marcus responded, staring and battling Shaowi's cold gaze.
"How can you say that? How can you prove it?" Shaowi added.
"Only us knows where we hide Amir, we are said to keep it confidential from anyone, particularly from the palace, in that case, no further being could disturb the barrier in where Amir is put, except us," Marcus responded.
"Marcus's right! Shaowi, we are safe as long as we don't disturb Amir from the barrier, ... —"
"Unless, if you'll put us at risk! Proving your stupid opinions from us," Marcus said.
Everyone in the chamber intensified. Reactions on their faces showed.
Shaowi remains emotionless.
"Stupid, ..." Shaowi uttered.
"Yeah, ..." Marcus replied.
Both turn cold gazes at each other.
"Stop it!" I uttered in a commanding voice. I intervened in the tension between my two students before it got worse.
The chamber is in silence.
"Shaowi, All I can say is that Amir is safe in the barrier, and that made us safe also...two months had passed and nothing happened, Amir is fine. Now, if any of you had nothing to ask, you may leave the chamber, what happened here remains here, what stays in the chamber, stays in here," I announced.
They nodded and stood up walking out of the chamber.
Marcus stood up and walked out of the room following his team members, meanwhile, Shaowi was on her seat and Freia's trying to pull her up at her seat.
"Freia, you may leave! Shaowi, you stay here, let's have a one-on-one conversation," I uttered, Freia had nothing to do but nod and leave the room.
Still seated, I walked towards her and sat at the opposite side of the table, in front of her. I gave her a look in the eyes and she didn't falter.
"What is your problem?" I said, gently.
Minutes passed by before she answered me.
"You...are...the problem," She replied uttering those words one by one in conviction and giving me a smirk with a disrespectful look.
I leaned back on the stool and sighed.
"You emo brat! I'm asking you a question and I foresee it to give me the right answer. You stop associating your tedious and philosophic disposition in life to the job I'd allotted to you, that when I asked you a question, you were supposed to give me the answer that I expected. Not that response!" I urged in frustration, aggressive tone, and dumped my hands at the table.
She didn't flinch, yet, she rolled her eyes at me, stood up, and walked out. I was offended, seeing how she acted right in front and left after uttering my outrage at her, made me use the thing that I was prohibited to do from a student.
I closed the open door with all force by gazing at it and set her inside on fire. She halted as she was surrounded by the blaze. She turned around at me and gave me a monotonous look.
"How dare you disrespect me like that?! I am your Master, I am the one who put you in where you are right now! I'm the one who saved you from your miserable life! I'm the one who —"
"I'm the one who knows your dirty little secrets, Master Ki Bou," She uttered before I even finished my words.
I was hushed for a moment. What dirty secrets is this girl talking about? I was confused and at the same time fluttered.
"What are you talking about?!" I said,
I ceased the fire out, and then she just gave me a smiling smirk.
"I know you know what I'm talking about, Master Ki Bou. Don't act like you don't know, ... and for the record, you didn't save me from my miserable life, and for what I am now, ... it is because you forced me to do this thing,"
I was speechless. She turned her back to me and walked out of the chamber like nothing happened.
"This girl is up to something, she's suspicious," I mumbled to myself.
- END.
