Lost of memories?

Franky James looked at Dylan unsure of what to say. He and Frederick were not very close, and he also wanted to advise Frederick to take a break, but then stopped. Franky James gave Dylan a small push, whispering, "Has Frederick been sitting like this since last night?"
Dylan Johnson shrugged, nodding. He was somewhat helpless, explaining: "He's very stubborn."
“Last time,” Dylan Johnson paused for a moment, then continued: “When Erwin operated on an infection, he was like this.”
"Didn't you advise him?" Franky is hard to understand.
Dylan Johnson shook his head, and at this moment, Frederick jumped to his feet. Then he did what he had done many times this morning, called the doctor. This time, Erwin really woke up.
He dreamily heard his surroundings become noisy, and many people were surrounding him. Erwin wanted to move but his whole body seemed to be fixed, he was uncomfortable for a while but finally gave up. With heavy eyelids, Erwin once again fell asleep.
"The patient is no longer dangerous, now we will take the patient to the regular ward." The main doctor told Frederick, he further advised: "Don't provoke the patient, you'd better find more professional midwives to take care of the patient."
Frederick nodded, then moved Erwin with the medical team to the ward upstairs. Dylan Johnson and Franky James followed suit quietly. It wasn't until the doctors and nurses had left, leaving only the quiet room, that Frederick discovered the two were still there.
“You two…” Frederick looked at them a little blankly: “I thought you were gone.”
Finally, Frederick choked out the sentence, lifted his sandwich, nodded to Dylan, and said, "Thank you."
Thanks for this sandwich, of course. Frederick sat down on the chair beside Erwin's hospital bed, munching his lunch. Dylan Johnson pulled Franky to sit on the opposite sofa: "No need to be polite!"
After saying that, the three fell silent again. Dylan Johnson sometimes tilted his head to talk to Franky, he also did not dare to speak too loudly, for fear of disturbing Erwin. After a while, Frederick stood up and said, "You can go back to work, or go on a date with Franky."
Frederick said faintly, there was nothing to worry about here anyway. Dylan Johnson pointed to his bandaged arm, and slurred his tongue: "Not only Erwin, but you're also a patient now!"
Frederick remained silent. Just like Dylan said, he's also a patient now. But Frederick didn't care, how could a small injury like this compare to someone lying on a hospital bed like Erwin. Seeing Frederick's contemplation, Dylan helplessly let go.
Dylan Johnson looked at Franky and said, “Do you want to stay and wait for Erwin to wake up? I think he won't wake up for a while."
Now, Frederick also needed to rest for a while, and the two of them shouldn't have bothered. With that in mind, Franky James immediately stood up, then said to Frederick: “We'll come again tomorrow. Frederick, rest well!"
After saying that, without waiting for Frederick to answer, Franky and Dylan left the hospital room, leaving Frederick alone. The hospital room was quiet again. A whole night without sleep, and tight nerves made Frederick even more tired. Frederick did not dare to close his eyes to rest, he was afraid that when Erwin woke up, he would not see him.
Just like that, Frederick sat motionless like a stone statue beside Erwin. His eyes focused on the hospital bed, never leaving even for a second. Time passed slowly, waiting until Frederick felt his joints stiffen before Erwin's hand moved.
Erwin felt his body weigh like lead, worse than his ribs, so painful that he wanted to scold him with a vulgar word. Erwin opened his eyes, the light in the room was soft but still making him frown. He was lying in the hospital room, surrounded by white and the smell of disinfectant. For a moment, Erwin didn't know what had just happened.
He wasn't just at the airport, then the terrorist shooting happened. Erwin was unfortunately hit by a bullet, the feeling at that time was very real. Could he have been treated at the hospital?
Also not true, his current condition didn't look like he was hit by a bullet. Suddenly, Erwin found his surroundings strangely quiet. Erwin trembled, is the hospital room too quiet?
Frederick saw Erwin's slow reaction, and an uneasiness rose in his heart. He remembered the doctor's advice, it is possible that after the patient wakes up, there will be some minor symptoms due to blood pooling in the brain. Frederick called Erwin for a few hours, but still no response, and his heart was even more worried.
Only then did Erwin faintly hear a small sound. Erwin was about to talk but found that he was still using an oxygen tank, he could only look towards the sound. Beside him was a young man with a cast on his left arm, and a worried face.
Erwin was taken aback, moving his lips, about to say something. The man gently helped him to remove the breathing tube, then said, "Erwin, how are you feeling?"
Erwin frowned, he remembered that he did not know this man, but subconsciously he still found him extremely familiar. Erwin shook his head, then weakly said, "It seems my left ear can't hear."
Erwin saw the man pause for a moment, then gently smiled at him: “It's okay, the doctor said it was just a minor symptom after the accident. After a while, you'll be back to normal."
Erwin nodded, then asked with difficulty: “Who… who are you?”
Frederick was taken aback, then immediately reached out to ring the bedside bell to call the doctor. Again, Erwin quickly kept him, he was afraid to touch the place where the needles were given. Erwin smiled slightly, narrowed his eyes, and said, "I was just joking."
After saying that, Erwin also comforted, stroking the back of Frederick's uninjured hand: "Sorry for making you worry!"
Frederick pursed his lips and leaned closer to Erwin. He raised his hand, stroking the spot where his hair was cut: "When we go home, you have to cut your hair again. This is so bad!”
Frederick closed his eyes, unconsciously rubbing Erwin's palm. He said hoarsely: "You have criticized me, haven't you?"
Erwin laughed, "How can I criticize you?"
"Look at me now! I'm worse than you!" Erwin finished speaking, pointed again at his body that was not healthy anywhere, then pointed to his right ear: "Here too, formerly a mute, now a deaf..."
It was just that before Erwin could finish speaking, Frederick held his hand. "Just minor sequelae," said Frederick, displeased. "Erwin, don't worry!"
Erwin knew his last words made Frederick think a lot. He took Frederick's hand, then coaxed it for the first time.
“I already know! Frederick, you seem to be too tense!" Erwin did not use questions, but affirmations, he frowned at Frederick: "You haven't slept all day, have you?"
Frederick paused, then fell silent as if he agreed with Erwin's words. He wanted to protest that he wasn't tired, but Erwin stopped him: "Don't say you're the iron man. Machines need rest too.”
These words, Erwin said without mercy, he softened his voice, and at the same time gently squeezed Frederick's hand: "Go to bed for a while, okay?"
In the end, Frederick still obediently listened to Erwin. He climbed onto the bed across from Erwin, slowly closing his eyes. Frederick was so tired, for less than five minutes, he couldn't help but fall asleep.
At this moment, Erwin breathed a sigh of relief. He felt like he was going through a fierce battle. The moment he asked who Frederick was, a series of jumbled memories jumped into his brain. Erwin restrained his discomfort, quickly reassuring Frederick. He knew that if he hadn't reassured him in time, Frederick would surely be desperate.
Fortunately, Erwin didn't actually lose his memory. He put his hand on his rib were because the anesthetic had run out, he jumped in pain. Erwin frowned, this time he was too subjective. It was assumed that Frederick was wary of Jenny Hall, ignoring the overly strong plot power.
Moreover, Jenny Hall's madness is not only in words, for money and power, but she can also do anything. Especially when cornered, Jenny Hall will risk her life to bet. She must have known about the accident. Erwin thought, gritting his teeth. After all, it's hard to fight in the dark in the morning!
During the time he was in a coma, Frederick must have tried to block the information from leaking. Frederick ran back and forth like that all day because of this car accident. Seeing Frederick sleeping still could not hide his fatigue, and Erwin's heartache grew even more.
"Room checking!"
The doctor's voice sounded outside, Erwin had to work hard to hear someone talking outside. After transferring him to the hospital room, Frederick called two bodyguards to protect his safety. At the same time, immediately collect evidence to arrest Jenny Hall. Because of this, Frederick was more and more worried that Jenny Hall would go crazy and make an unpredictable actions.
The doctor opened the door, saw that the person inside was awake, and a smile immediately appeared on his lips. She was about to say hello when Erwin put his index finger to his lips, then looked to the opposite side of the bed. The doctor immediately understood, she gently walked over, then checked Erwin's current situation, then she softly instructed.
“For now, you should still receive nutritional infusions. His stomach was still injured, unable to digest normally. In the next few days, we will check the wound healing rate again and then make the next conclusion.” The doctor wrote down the medical record, then continued: "The hospital cafeteria is open 24 hours a day if you want..."
At this point, the doctor turned to look at Frederick sleeping: “If you want to order food, you can call the housekeeper for help. If you are in too much pain, you can call the doctor, and we will give you pain medicine.”
Done it, the doctor quickly left. Erwin lay looking at the ceiling again. Although the effect of the anesthetic had worn off, the pain was so persistent that Erwin could not do anything. He did not want to be too dependent on painkillers, and could only try to sleep with his eyes closed.
