ALICIA
With Bella being engulfed in fear, she was left with no other choice but to pay attention and follow what the voice had instructed her. She ran as far as she possibly could and allowed her feet to take her wherever they wanted to take her.
Rather than confronting the situation, Bella made an impulsive decision to flee from the scene. She has decided that she will no longer inflict harm to anyone, particularly Mira.
A few hours had gone by, and Bella was still on the run from the people she loves and cares about the most. Mira was the one person she couldn’t face at the moment because she couldn’t deal with her guilt, and she didn’t know how to confront and explain everything to her.
Bella had come to the end of her rope. Her knees were about to give up when she eventually came across a cave. Her toes and heels were bleeding profusely, and blood was streaming from the injuries she had sustained on her feet.
In the cave, Bella took refuge and attempted to calm herself, but she was unsuccessful. Her anxiety has taken over her ability to think clearly and logically. She even attempted to hurt herself by punching the rock excessively hard, but she was still unable to feel any physical discomfort. Her only sensation at this time is the pain emanating from the depths of her heart.
A crack was seen on the wall, and blood was trickling from the wounds of her knuckles. Bella was in a state of delirium when the inner voice attempted to regain authority over her for one more time. She struggled as she argued and fought her way out of the difficult circumstance she found herself in.
Upon touching the bead in her chest, a ray of light emitted with a blend of black and red in color. Bella was too weak to win this time. Her thoughts were a mess, but she did her best to get things done. Despite her best efforts, Bella was unable to prevail. She disconnected herself from everything else around her when the other half was successful in taming her for the third time.
Bella transformed into a completely different person. Her demeanor had altered, and her ruby red eyes were now devoid of any emotion.
All of the open wounds that Bella had inflicted were gradually closing back up again.
The stain of black in the bead has already dominated more than half of the surface area of the red bead.

It was around sundown when people began screaming and panicking upon seeing the block spots that had appeared in their bodies years before had resurfaced on their skin.
“Magbagong-anyo,” Bella said in hushed tones.
(“Magbagong-anyo” is Filipino for “to transform”).
Bella’s bloody-red iris has a baybayin script carved inside it that loops around her pupil.
That moment marked the beginning of the reawakening of a widespread curse. Bella has finally roused the zombies that have lain dormant inside them for years, bringing them to life.
As soon as Bella uttered the curse, people began to choke and scream out in agony.
The black spots that had been etched into a part of their bodies had spread quickly throughout their skin, forming into a pattern of a baybayin script.
Individuals who did not have any visible marks on their skin yelled out of fear and fled for their lives.
“Walang kamatayan,” Bella remarked emphatically, prompting them to turn undead in the process.
Bella’s ruby red eyes began to radiate, and the baybayin script around her orbits accelerated to keep up with the rapid movements of the baybayin marks crawling and switching scripts around her pale tight skin.
The baybayin script that had been carved into the human flesh had faded and vanished all at once, turning those who had been vaccinated into walking corpses.
Those who have received the curse directly from Alicia appear far more horrific and out of control than those who have taken the incorrect and correct vaccines but consumed cloudberries contaminated by the red bead.
“Maghasig ng lagim!” Bella gave the zombies orders to instill fear in the hearts and minds of the people in town. While the zombies were busy hunting humans, Bella headed to the laboratory before making her way to the cemetery.
The moment Bella first walked into the laboratory, she instantly began looking around for something. She had no idea where she was supposed to look for the object she was seeking, but a part of her knew exactly where to look. Glasses shattered as Bella continued to break several more beakers and vials before she came across what she was looking for.
When Bella reached into a secret cabinet concealed behind all the other chemicals, she took a jar of glass filled with liquid from the cabinet and placed it in the palm of her hand. She was about to leave when the bead began to glow a hue of black, overpowering the red, as if it was enticing her to look elsewhere for something more exciting.
The stench of something dreadful as death has filled her nostrils as she took a whiff of the air.
As she ventured deeper inside the laboratory, the intensity of the dark hue coming from the bead has increased drastically, leading her to a massive vault door that couldn’t be easily opened. In the blink of an eye, an exuberant grin appeared on Bella’s face. Her ruby red eyes widened as they sparkled with excitement and forced the vault open with her bare hands.
The bead gradually stopped emitting a hue of black when she came across someone—a woman who appeared to be dead and was bound in white cloth.
“Doin’ not so well?” Bella sneered in the direction of the woman, who was being held captive in a very dark chamber and didn’t seem to be breathing.
When the woman attempted to move, the shackles clanked against her as she faintly scowled at Bella in frustration. Her arms and legs were both restrained with chains.
Bella chuckled to herself as she stirred the liquid in the beaker.
“Need help?” she asked. Her gaze shifted from the woman to the liquid swirling around her palm.
Bella remained still when another shriek, coming from the dried-looking individual clad in white tattered rags and covering the shallow rotting wounds, greeted her in return. With each step she took forward to reach for Bella, her preserved face became illuminated by a shaft of light. Her skin was wrinkled in every part of her body and appeared as though all the fluids in her body had been sucked dry.
When Bella looked at her, she noticed that the woman was still acting furious and restless, as she had been earlier.
Bella drew her gaze even deeper into her rotten eyes. “What’s your name?” As she asked the question, her ruby red eyes were focused and projected a dull crimson hue, which added to her allure.
The woman was gradually regaining her composure through Bella’s gentle gaze. “Alicia,” she said in response with a dreamy smile on her face.
Flashback...
Alicia was searching through Bella’s possessions when the bead located near Bella’s chest began to emanate a faint glow of red. As she tried to reach for the bead, she dug the tip of her nails into Bella’s chest to get her hands on it.
When the intensity of the bead’s glow increased, Bella’s eyes sprung wide open. A small black stain is seen on the surface of the red bead right after Alicia manages to get her hands on the red bead.
The moment Alicia’s finger made its way to enter Bella’s body, she shrieked as she struggled to pull her hand away from Bella’s chest when she felt a sudden electrifying pain in her finger.
Tiny ashes from her remains floated in the air right after she pulled her fingers out from Bella’s body.
At the same time, when Alicia noticed the hole in Bella’s chest was slowly sealing back up, she also saw that the shape of her fingers was gradually returning to their former form after turning into ashes. Her skin then began to wrinkle slowly, beginning at the tips of her thumb and index fingers and progressing down her arm.
Alicia’s pupils constricted in fear. Before walking out of Bella’s chamber through the window, she hissed and went straight to her lover’s workplace. Alicia was losing her cool when she demanded an antidote from the scientist. She could no longer move the hand she used to grab the bead and asked the scientist for the chemical administered to her when she was still lying half-dead inside the hospital.
After learning about the potentially harmful effects of the chemical, the scientist declined to give her the substance. He was concerned about what was going on with Alicia and attempted to scan her hand with his finger.
“I don’t need your concern!” Alicia snarled, clearly frustrated. She compulsively swung her arm in the air as she brushed the scientist’s hand away from her arm. The scientist was injured when she struck him in the face with her other hand. His face was bleeding, but Alicia didn’t mind and persisted in smashing glasses in search of the chemical.
The scientist tried to stop her and calm her down, but Alicia was unyielding in her refusal to listen.
After a few seconds, Alicia’s eyes began to droop, and she quickly fell asleep. The scientist behind her had injected a sedative to help her relax a bit. He managed to grasp her in his arms before she dropped to the ground, utterly unconscious.
The scientist sobbed as he continued to express his regrets to Alicia for everything he had done to her.
The next thing Alicia knew was finding herself chained up in a room from the minute she had opened her eyes.
